It has saved our accounting team hours of work per month as each employee is able to upload their receipts. We absolutely love Divvy. Cons As with any software improvements are always necessary. Divvy is works hard to continue to make the process better. Initially receipt uploading had multiple steps but now you can do it directly through the photos program. That has made the process easier. Pros Simplicity to use, customer support that comes with it and ability to create multiple cards for online accounts and services. Cons Not much. It's very easy to onboard new users, manage the cards, in addition to the access to virtual cards, and allocate budgets across the company. Cons Some of the functionality in the way you navigate the options can be confusing. I do hope they expand their platform and integrate or build out software to do more cost management analysis. I'm currently dumping the data into power BI to run analysis on our spend month over month. Taking a picture of receipts: Has drastically increased our overall collection of receipts and the ease of collecting and organizing them. This decreases my risk from an outside audit standpoint as well as improved internal compliance since it's a lot easier to review receipts. 2. Expense report simplification: We have saved hours of time from a data entry standpoint while simultaneously increasing the accuracy of the data entered. Their customer service team is very well trained. From implementation to my managing representative to regular customer service - Their team is top notch. Pros Divvy is easy to use for users and admins alike. The setup is very easy to do, and my organization was able to hit the ground running from the day we had cards in hand. Cons The only con is that it doesn't integrate with QuickBooks Desktop. There is a workaround that is very helpful. I am just waiting for the day when I can use it with Desktop. Reason for choosing BILL Spend & Expense It is BY FAR the easiest to use product on the market. It had everything we needed and more at little to no cost to our organization. Our account manager responds quickly to questions and we love the ease of use on the administration side as well as user side. Pros No more losing receipts!!! It is so nice to snap a photo right away and tie it to your charge. It makes month end reconciling much more streamlined Cons My only issue is the rewards system. It's a headache to say the least. When you cash in your points earned, you can't simply login and explore all of your options like other credit card companies. You must send in your request and wait to hear back from Divvy. We requested gift cards as our rewards and were sent to a website where we had very limited options for gift cards, and they were all electronic cards. This is very hard to keep track of and would have been much more convenient to get a a visa/mastercard giftcard. Also, all of the gift cards were tied to my email address, so any cards redeemed came to me via email and I had to distribute them to where they needed to go. Review Source KS Kerra S. Pros I was pleasantly surprised that the system automatically shows you the pre-approved credit.Completing the application took no more than 30 minutes. Cons The support service is incompetentNo one told me the reason why the application was rejectedThe impression was created that divvy only collects the personal data of the US business community.After I passed the video verification, the application was refused, which is disturbing, what is the reason to pass the video verification if the application is refused anyway.The most regrettable thing is that I sent my bank account details.When I passed the video verification, I noticed that my personal data will be kept for 3 years! December 15, 2022 4.0 Pros Setting up digital cards for specific vendors is so easy. So is cancelling them. We never have to worry about a vendor charging us after we have cancelled a service and if we ever have fraud on a card, it is easy to only update with one merchant instead of all of them. Cons There are several features it is missing when it comes to syncing with QBO, but the account rep mentioned they are working on rolling out several of my biggest conerns. The customer service is top notch and they continue to make enhancements. We switched to Divvy to replace our old school petty cash system and to replace the Home Depot credit cards that we had for our installers. The new system works GREAT! Each person requests funds when they are running low, they take pictures of their receipts as soon as the purchase is made and money is deducted daily from our business checking account. It also integrates nicely with QuickBooks. There are a ton of other features that we do not make use of but as we continue to grow I'm sure that will change. Pros I don't have to think about it. Once it's set up it just does what it's supposed to. Cons It might just be me but it's not visually intuitive. I find that I have to click several things before I get to where I want to be. It's been easy to use, and any complications we've run into have quickly been resolved through Divvy's great customer support team! Pros I love how easy it is to get employees started using their card and coding expenses. It's an intuitive interface, and saves time in training employees on how to use the platform. Cons Divvy has a lot of great features, but since the company is still relatively new, there are still a lot of other features that have yet to be released, but they are constantly rolling out great new features. Pros The thing I like most about using Divvy is having immediate access to spending across our entire organization. I love being able to create budgets and allocate them to individual employees. It creates a level of transparency and visibility that is empowering to the entire company. Cons They are still perfecting the user interface. There are a few quirks and inefficiencies but I have seen huge improvements over time. We integrate with QuickBooks online for our accountant’s sanity. The automatic categorization and receipt tracking saves us so much time, as our organization has three physical locations, multiple departments, tons of different funding sources and needs.I love the ease of use. I have ADHD and I am an executive Director, and I struggle with receipt management. This program automatically triggers me to upload my receipt and categorize my purchase. Cons Honestly nothing. Pros Integrated credit card management and the ability to have virtual credit cards. Cons Being able to email/forward an email receipt is very handy, however it doesn't always work. We need to able to change the vendor name so that it syncs wit the same vendor name in our accounting software. We used to enter credit card transactions manually and reconciliation was a nightmare. Now, we can sync transactions with our accounting software by clicking a button. Reconciliations are quick and easy and implementation was a breeze thanks to the Divvy team! This saves us 20+ hours per month! Cons The only thing I didn't like about Divvy is the inability to separate out sales tax from the expense. I work for a non-profit so that would be great for us to more easily integrate with NetSuite, but that is very minor.
