We used to enter credit card transactions manually and reconciliation was a nightmare. Now, we can sync transactions with our accounting software by clicking a button. Reconciliations are quick and easy and implementation was a breeze thanks to the Divvy team! This saves us 20+ hours per month! Cons The only thing I didn't like about Divvy is the inability to separate out sales tax from the expense. I work for a non-profit so that would be great for us to more easily integrate with NetSuite, but that is very minor. Review Source SP Shawn P. They are timely in their responses and they are flexible and open to customer ideas for improvement. Pros It is very easy to use and very ease to teach users how to use. It allows us to customize expense fields, budgets and reports so as an accounting team we get what we need, but it is simple enough for any user to use. Cons The only complaint I have at this point is that we cannot set limits for receipts. I'd like to be able to say "all transactions over $20 require a receipt," but that is not available yet. We have not been using long, but this will go a long way in establishing budgets and tracking expenses. The ease of setup and use is great. I use other accounting software for work, and other personal credit cards, but nothing comes close to the ease of tracking and reporting through Divvy. Cons Would like the ability to have budgets set for weekly rollover, as we are able to pay the account balance in full weekly. This would help to truly show what is available to spend, as minimum budget rollover is a month. Would also like quicker posting of payments to show against available balance. And it saves considerable time compared to traditional expense and spend management solutions. Pros It is very easy to set up the type of users you need for your organization. I can add and remove user with ease. I downloaded my chart of accounts to help code reciepts. Pros The benefits of this software have been implementing self tracking of personal expenses. It has freed up something that was once time consuming by having individuals automatically submit receipts and code the transaction. Divvy has also allowed minimal time spent on coding since it is integrated with our accounting software. I appreciate the quick and upbeat support and the ease of use for the software itself. Pros This software offers many benefits over the competition. I am all for a paperless way to track and report expenses as well as establish budgets with specific general ledger options. I have zero fear that we would be in great shape were we to be audited. Pros We have nearly 250 employees and nearly 50 folks who have the ability to spend. When this was going largely unchecked, we spent hours trying to track receipts and reconcile budgets. With Divvy, it is all done at the time of expense, in real time. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the general education of how to change budgets, name budgets, name cards, and make it work exactly how we want it to work. March 11, 2023 5.0 My experience has been nothing short of delighted! Pros Divvy is so easy to use and works perfectly to manage multiple budgets, split expenses, and tie it all together. We love it for the vendor cards that we can issue to users in the org and for tracking our teams monthly expenses. So easy. Cons There isn't much that I don't like! It has significantly reduced the time to close the books at month end. We used to have to wait at least a week just to reconcile credit card transactions, but with Divvy, it only takes one to two days. The team at Divvy has been extremely receptive to our feedback and providing the best customer experience possible. Cons The software is constantly evolving as we and other gives feedback (this is a good thing), but there doesn’t seem to be one clear cut path of best practices with Divvy. Being able to crate a virtual cards for all the different vendors is amazing so I know how much I'm spending with each vendor. Very convenient to give every employee a Divvy card instead of petty cash. This way I can send them funds for a specific amount when needed. Cons No cons that I have came across. Divvy allows to take advantage of all your available space among multiple monitors in a simple and intuitive way. When your desktop starts to be cluttered after some hours of work, Divvy helps to keep what matters always under control. Pros Stable, easy to use, very convenient to efficiently work in multi monitor setup. Shortcut configuration makes windows resize very efficient. Cons No noticeable downsides, so far. We have had to live chat several times and they always impress me with their professional and personal approach to business. They have yet to not answer fully a question I have had. Their service makes keeping up with our trips so easy we wish we could go again lol!!! Ever since using them we haven't had to track down a single receipt or itemize any of our expenses it does it for us. Best software I've had the pleasure of using in quite awhile. Pros Staff being able to code and add receipts is a big thing I like about this software; splitting between classes and expense codes by percent is a huge plus. Cons I have struggled to figure out the approval process and set some things up, but I am learning, so I think I just need a bit more time. I also wish the budgets can be set to update weekly. Reason for choosing BILL Spend & Expense As a non-profit, anything that helps us streamline and make the administration parts easier lets us serve people that need our help. The price of Divvy was also a huge factor.
