Does what we need it to do and is always there when we need assistance. Pros The internal team at divvy is extremely quick to respond and assist. The platform itself is self explanatory and very easy to use. Cons There are some features which are missing from the platform such as bulk receipt uploading and reporting features. Professional people that I can call up with any questions. The website and app's so easy to use, even a concrete contractor can use it! Pros I like that it can let me track our team's expenses in real time and we can categorize them by type and customer to help with tracking budgets. We are able to set monthly budgets for each person which has helped us to cut expense costs. Pros We love that we can assign budgets. It has really helped us to track expenses per job. The receipt feature is probably our most favorite part of Divvy. Having the ability to simply take a picture of your receipt and have it uploaded on the spot has greatly cut down missing and unreadable receipts. This is a major plus for a construction company. Cons Sometimes the upload feature won't work. However they have recently upgraded this feature to allow admins to upload receipt pictures for other user. So when the upload won't work for my guys in the field they simply send the picture to me and I can enter it. December 12, 2018 5.0 Pros I've used a certain software that most are familiar with for years and switched to Divvy recently. Managing company credit cards has never been easier. Expense reporting is also far superior to the other software most use. The best feature is that I can set limits for managers or VP's at the office and track what they're using their cards for the moment a transaction is made. Implementation was easy, ordering was easy, every time I stumbled or had a question, it was answered right away. Pros I like how quick and easy it is to send funds to the right people under the right budgets. Full control of who gets access to what. Pros The mobile app is the biggest selling point for us, however the mastercard business partner is a regular source of frustration as we get card declines for no reason, too often. Cons I wish that adding an individual and updating the budgets was easier, it is not as intuitive as I feel it could be. No more looking for 3-4 different software to handle all our needs because Divvy does them all in a perfect way. Pros Best expense software I have ever used. Our time reviewing and/or approving expenses is now cut in half. No more reimbursements. The budget features are also amazing. We have been looking for a better way to budget our expenses and Divvy does an amazing job at budget management. Cons I kinda wish we had to pay for it to let them know how much we appreciate it. We had a couple of vendors try to double charge us. Divvy protected our funds and alerted us instantly. We also have had better control over fraud false positives which was a big problem with our normal bank cards. Cons No alerts when prefund amounts become available. No integration with Xero. We have problems and their standard response is that they are always improving service. Failed to deliver on a promise their sales rep made on the phone . Pros We can match spending to budget lines and adjust them on the fly Cons the software is very buggy. at least several times per week, the approval process for spending gets hung up using the mobile phones. We very frequently (more than once per week, have charges declined when paying our vendors. The ACH and Bill Pay process work very, badly. Very friendly and helpful staff. The online chat with the helpdesk is one of the best i have ever seen - you can send your question in and not have to sit there for hours going back and forth on the issue. They respond in a timely manner and I can respond whenever. No need to sit for the answer. Pros It puts the responsibility for receipts and tracking on the employee - puts all the information they need right in their hands. Also - assigning managers to review their employee tracking and all of this is done before it gets to the finance department and inputted in QB. Cons We use Quickbooks desktop - the expense report does not feed perfectly into Quickbooks Desktop so each transaction does require a manual touch to alter the input information. Was hoping it would feed perfectly into Quickbooks, was one of the reasons we went with Divvy. Review Source MM Mathew M. The customer support has been fantastic. Fraud controls and prevention have been fantastic - we have been able to quickly isolate and stop attempted fraud, either by our user or notification from the Divvy team. Cons I would like the ability to organize budgets in a more hierarchical way, so that Department leaders can start with their overall budget and drill down into sub-budgets. Cons So far I like all the options, GL integration, ease of use, employees don't have to carry pieces of paper so I do not have anything right now that I do not like-Keep it up! Pros The ease of signing up and how friendly everyone is Cons A lot of the settings are confusing. They require you to set budgets per some 'best in class' methodology, but all we wanted to do was use a credit card. It was way too difficult. There are also a lot of catches like rewards not being available for a year by default or foreign txn fees. Some of the role permissions are also configured oddly (likely for our book keeper -- the book keeper permission didn't give her access to all transactions, particularly reimbursements, so I had to make her an admin). December 15, 2022 4.0 The ability of users to capture their receipts by snapping a picture on their phones is great. We used to spend a great amount of time trying to get receipts, Divvy has greatly reduced that time. Pros Capturing of receipts for purchases was the biggest selling point of Divvy. Ease of use for my card holders was also a big feature. Cons No features are missing but we have only been using the software for a month. Pros We started using Divvy about 18 months ago. It allows us to "see" the various transaction by our users and to activate and deactivate the cards. Cons It can be improved on the billing and statement reporting. The statements are improving. Also, at the end of the month, there are changes in the ability to use the card--for example if a user doesn't use a card in the prior month they may have no spending limit in the next cycle.
