It's the people that make Divvy what it is. I'd give the developers and engineers a standing ovation every day if I worked at Divvy. They have truly built a remarkable product, kinda like Comcast. Pros Transparency when it comes to spending has shifted our company culture. People are now act more trustworthy with what they use the company card on. Any product that helps my company have a culture of openness & accountability will be a company I stick with for years to come. Pros My team always hated doing expenses monthly and sometimes they would pile up to be quarterly reports. Needless to say accounting hated us. Since the deployment of Divvy we are now almost real time. Receipts never go missing and budgets are now properly managed for travel. Each team/member has a limited and it is controlled in the app. Overall this is a great addition to our software that we use and I recommend it to everyone. The site is fast and I am able perform tasks without many slow-downs. Cons Issues popped up occasionally with my users not being able to login due to a Date of Birth entry problem. The time savings alone are worth the cost of the app. Pros The app is easy to install, easily synchs with QuickBooks and is easy to manage. A huge time saver with regard to expense reporting. Pros We used to use a lot of spreadsheets on a monthly basis to track expenses and get expenses in our accounting system. Divvy has streamlined that so much. We do not regret the transition one bit. Cons One feature we would love to see added is in the expense categorization. When we select a department, we would like the only categories that show up to be ones that are specific to that department. As it is, all categories show for any department that is shown. Employees often select categories that do not exist in the department. A cascading/tiered dropdown system may do the trick. Review Source Joseph B. The time-save alone is worth it to us. The cash back and superb customer service is icing on the cake. Pros Divvy software is super simple to use and very user friendly. We were able to set up and implement Divvy globally in just two days. We have saved thousands just by switching to Divvy and our expense reconciliation takes a fraction of the time it used to take when we did manual receipts. Cons There are a few items that aren't as customizable as we'd like when it comes to setting up budgets. We've submitted requests for the development team to work on it and they informed us the features we were requesting are already in processed and should be rolled out soon. December 15, 2022 5.0 Pros Divvy has greatly simplified my job as a financial assistant/bookkeeper. We've got several employees purchasing against different budget lines, and now the employees and I can see the information clearly and in a user-friendly fashion, all in one place. It was easy to learn and uploading receipts is so simple and quick. I highly recommend Divvy! Cons I'd love to be able to split transactions between budgets. However, I don't really have a true con. Overall it's been a true pleasure working with Divvy. Pros I'm the controller at a small media company called Chamber Media. We shoot commercials, and need to be able to attribute the correct expenses to the correct shoot budget, and Divvy has stepped in and made that extraordinarily easy. I would say Divvy saves us at least 2 full business days each month in terms of our month-end close. We love Divvy here at Chamber Media, probably me most of all. Pros We like the virtual cards, because it allows us to protect our physical card data and we can make virtual cards for individual vendors. Decreased time spent reconciling, tracking, and other tedious tasks on credit cards easily by greater than 75%. Pros We switched from an old Visa card with no online functionality, lengthy customer service calls, and overall nothing more than a working credit card. Not to mention, it took 3 months to set up automatic payments every time we opened a new card. Switching to Divvy was easy, free, and seamless. In an organization with 20 credit cards, they've saved us dozens of hours each month, improved accountability, and made using a credit card almost as fun as it can be. We also researched other paid products (e.g. SAP Concur) and Divvy is far and beyond a better UI with all necessary features while they continue to improve and build out other fancy features. I 100% recommend Divvy to every business. Their people and customer service is also top notch. I would definitely apply to Divvy myself if I was looking for a new job in their locations. Divvy was mentioned as something she had heard about from a Facebook group and it has been very helpful. Receipt process saves time and Divvy helped our \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] create a process for importing to our accounting software (Aplos). Cons The "budgets" feature is confusing for my team. The budget in the card doesn't match their real budget for their department and often they need to spend outside of their own budget. Rather have the term be credit limit than budget. Also, they are constantly innovating, making processes more efficient and effective and take customer feedback seriously. Lots of the requests or comments I've had with them have turned into solutions within weeks. Everyone in our office loves Divvy and haven't had a single thing to complain about. Pros For years we had wanted to get corporate cards for staff but did not want to take the risk of not having credit and approval controls like we do now with Divvy. The ease of use, simplicity, and thoughtfulness that comes with Divvy is why we love it. Oh and it's free! Cons I have not had a single issue with them. Pros \- It's free and easy to set up and use; - Integrates with QuickBooks; - Takes care of your all your Accounts Payable; - Modern software and look, nice-looking and secure mobile app. Cons \- It should allow buffers for budgets as sometimes just for a few pennies or dollars, a charge might get declined; - Should be easier to reallocate budget distribution and maybe divide the budget into areas and assign people to areas instead of having to set a max to each person, which forces you to over-allocate to people and thus inflate greatly the budget. Pros Divvy is as simple as it gets with expense management. Everyone on the platform, from myself as the one who implemented it for our team to the newest employee just onboarding, has had such an easy time navigating it and understanding their role on the platform. It is intuitive, quick, and seamless. The customer service team is second to none and any time we've had a request or question we get help right away from the best team out there. Cons Business reporting could be made a little more nuanced for teams to be able to play with more views etc. in the dashboard, but this isn't a big enough con to move away from Divvy to anything else and they take innovation seriously. I won't be surprised to see more functionality here launch in the near future if enough customers are asking for it. It has saved our accounting team hours of work per month as each employee is able to upload their receipts. We absolutely love Divvy. Cons As with any software improvements are always necessary. Divvy is works hard to continue to make the process better. Initially receipt uploading had multiple steps but now you can do it directly through the photos program. That has made the process easier. Cons Some of the functionality in the way you navigate the options can be confusing. I do hope they expand their platform and integrate or build out software to do more cost management analysis. I'm currently dumping the data into power BI to run analysis on our spend month over month. Taking a picture of receipts: Has drastically increased our overall collection of receipts and the ease of collecting and organizing them. This decreases my risk from an outside audit standpoint as well as improved internal compliance since it's a lot easier to review receipts. 2. Expense report simplification: We have saved hours of time from a data entry standpoint while simultaneously increasing the accuracy of the data entered.
