We had a lot of trouble since we were not more able to visit our partners all around the world, so we used photographic reports and videos to share all the production stages. FileCloud is fundamental to achieve this task.

Pros

World wide access, no issue also with the Golden Shield Project

It is not so easy to adjust the notifications rules

Due to pandemic time when most of us are working remotely - Remote access and Sharing features help a lot. Secure File Sharing and Backup also was very helpful it made things easier for us.

The ability to share confidential files with clients is a game changer

Pros

Secure file storing, ease of application and most importantly the ability to allow clients access to their own file portal.

Cons

It is a little confusing setting up the desktop drive link, and I have 20 yrs of IT director experience. I recommend taking advantage of the free training offered. I should have done this from day one.

Easy file sharing. Security.

Pros

After an initial learning curve upon installing the software and some internal training that took a bit longer than we had hoped we found out that FileCloud was a really great tool and exactly what we had been looking for. We use the on premise solution and it's really helpful.

Cons

A bit of a learning curve at the beginning but once you get the hang of it it becomes really easy to use.

Pros

I like the ease of collaboration between our team and customers. We use it as an FTP site for clients to upload very large artwork files and have never had any issues with its functionality.

Cons

The only con would be that it is not easy to search through a team folder for a specific file, I have to know which file to search in first.

Overall it was a good start to working remotely as we needed it when covid started but we have since switched to a much simpler and easy way of just using a vpn to connect to our file shares. No need for all the fancy features that were offered as well as it wasn't easy to integrate and use.

Pros

I liked that it gave my company a start on being able to access files on our network shares externally.

Cons

It was a bit complicated to set up as well as seemed very slow and buggy. Had a lot of connection issues as well as people would work on files and sometimes they would not save
