Director Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Psychotherapy Tool for Measuring/Tracking Client/Therapist Progress" January 14, 2022 4.0 Pros What I like most is that the tool helps you be more in tune with how your client is perceiving their psychotherapeutic experience and whether what you're working on is actually helping them or not. It provides real-time feedback and in my opinion is an essential skill to implement for any psychotherapist. Cons What I like least about the software is that even with taking the training course, there isn't good instruction on how to interpret the data. I think there can be much more helpful ways of guiding therapist through the process in real-time and providing insight/guidance to what the data shows as you move along and use the tool. Pros Provides evidence of progress towards mental health goal of improved sense of well-being across domains (not just symptoms). Provides historical information for therapists to use to identify quality of services delivered. Convenient to use at every session. Helps guide the therapist to improve service delivery on both an individual client and agency level. Cons Some clients report challenges with navigating the on-line client portal. For some, time needs to be spent with the client providing them with more directions than are provided in the software system. It has taught me SO MUCH about checking in with clients about their experience. Clients also really like seeing their results over time. They can see when they are feeling better overall, even when they are having a bad week. Pros It is easy to use, fairly intuitive, and you can give client direct access when working through Telehealth. It also takes all the headache and guesswork out of manually scoring clients each week. I am super excited about anything that provides a positive outcome for therapy while also minimizing my paperwork. Cons I would like it to integrate better with my other automated systems. If I could have all my tools working together and manageable from one place, that would be a dream. However, that would be a plus. It is still a good program as is. Pros Yes integration was easy. I like the graphs and being able to share this with the client/ track client progress on a session by session basis. It also provides a jumping off point for discussion about the session/ whats working/not working - this can be fruitful and I find clients much more upfront than I would have expected. Pros The software is easy to use. I love the algorithm and graphs which quickly and clearly shows you the client's progress. Cons The price is a little expensive given the conversion rate to Australian dollars. Pros MyOutcomes has become an essential part of training new therapists. As a clinical supervisor, I appreciate the graphs that easily track client outcome and therapeutic rapport. I use MyOutcome as part of weekly supervision sessions and see new therapists grow in confidence and clinical skills by using this software. Cons When first using MyOutcomes years ago I wished that it was easier to use across multiple platforms but today even with telehealth, clients can easily complete their ORS/SRS using a tablet or phone. Reason for choosing MyOutcomes The cost outweighed the ease and time saving of having to chart the data on my own. Pros MyOutcomes, when administered routinely at the beginning and end of each session allows clients to see to what degree they are on track and provides the therapist with feedback that flags conversations that help the therapist to make adjustment and adapt services to enhance the client's experience of each session. The Provider screen allows for the therapist to see at a glance which clients may be at risk of premature dropout or a negative outcome and prioritize supervision. This software increases our ability to engage and retain clients and remain humbly attentive to how our approach is landing with people while also serving as our program's overall outcome measures. We have appreciated MyOutcomes customer service and its willingness to use customer feedback to improve, such as making it easier for clients to complete measures during virtual sessions (the Give Access function) Cons I wish that it was integrated with online software like OWL or Jane (my hope is for OWL) so that therapists do not have to log into more than one platform per session. Psychologist Mental Health Care Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great resource for not a lot of money" January 23, 2022 4.0 Since the software up-date the ease of use of this software for my on-line clients has been a game changer. Overall it is easy to use. Pros Outcomes are a tricky business when you are in private practice. There are so many outcomes to possibly focus on. The ease of use and applicability of the options for all clients makes it nice and comprehensive. Then of course, is the vital measure of how the therapeutic relationship is going. Again, it's nice and easy and then you can have a conversation in real time about what went into their ratings. Cons After submitting their answers to the rating scales there is a page that shows their scores and has either a red, green or yellow circle next to them to indicate if things are progressing the way they should. This is a nice, easy graphic for me. But clients get concerned when they see red and it can cause unnecessary concern for them. The one other issues, is that the graph of responses should orient the dates differently as the long term clients I have, all the dates overlap and when you print out the graph, you can no longer read the dates as they overlap. I'm able to have data to show clients regarding progress, stagnation, or deterioration that supports me in conversations that can be difficult to have. When I have difficult days at work and wonder about whether I'm actually helping people improve their quality of life, I can find out whether or not I have reason to worry. If the data shows that my worry is justified than I can address it with the client to get back on track. This is the one tool that I recommend to every clinician that will listen!! Pros I love being able to track ORS and SRS results, graph them, and have statistics run for me. I can easily track my effectiveness as a therapist. I also loved the training series add-on for using the ORS and SRS by \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]r. Cons I wish that I could view statistics on only clients who score below the clinical cut off of 25 points. I'd also like if my outcomes was integrated into a more robust EHR that would allow me to create my own forms and have them signed by clients. I love having a way to better understand when clients are making progress and when they are not. Pros I love using the ORS to gage my client's perspective of where they are at. Often working with kids and teens it is a guessing game. This tool allows them to name what they are struggling with the most or to name when they feel thigs are going well. If client's rate everything a "10" it offers an opportunity to name that part of them feels things in their life are perfect and then an invitation for them to check in with their bodies and see if any other parts feel differently. Cons I do not use the SRS as often because I get the sense client feel a sense of redundancy with filling out a similar chart twice in a session. Pros Provided evidence based up to date algorithmic analysis of treatment effectiveness in collaboration with Dr. Scott Miller's work. Cons Database core structure is based on treatment episodes versus individual clients - makes it difficult for us to track other program metrics important to our business analysis. But working with a customization coding team to build work arounds has been super helpful for us to have a contract to do needed customizations. In an educational setting it provides meaningful data for stakeholders working with students in a way that protects the content of therapy sessions and focuses on student outcome status by sharing the graphs. Pros It provides a basis for insuring the most fundamentally beneficial elements of therapy are embedded in each session. It provides meaningful data in real time of program efficacy, I use it to manage caseload assignments. Cons nothing. It meets and exceeds our usage. In fact there are features I want to use more of like feedback sources and sending links to the scales for remote reporting. I haven't put enough energy into systematizing teh remote reporting to provide feedback on that but I guess the last time I tried it the UIUX wasn't very user friendly. Pros The ability to no longer waste paper and automatically calculates results allowing me to have more time for clients. Overall it makes our practice elevated as we are always looking for growth. Cons Isn't the most user friendly and takes some navigation to deactivate users. Some other non-straight forward aspects are complicated such as need for client groups under each provider which seams unnecessary. Overall aesthetics could improve. Pros Great, simple platform for administering the PCOMS measures. Clients like how easy it is to use. Cons There are a few things that could be improved. First, I wish you could access individual item scores through the app. While you can see the total ORS and SRS score, you cannot see how they scored each item if you go into the website, download a spreadsheet, and look it up.
