This is not the tool if you are required to generate classes and methods based on those on diagrams. Good for fast jobs and visalisation. Pros I use it on the go when I'm not at my computer or in virtual environments. It has basic templates that are useful and you can also import from lots of places. Cons Although Draw.io is very good for UI design still I think if it can add some more feature like editing the text field selecting drop down etc. Which would make it little more interactive just like the button do to UI. Marketing Manager Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Most of the features of paid software for free" March 17, 2020 4.0 The bottom line is that it did what I needed - create basic graphs and flowcharts without having to fight with a bunch of different boxes, etc. I was able to create my visualizations and download them as PDFs or images for other projects. Pros The user interface and overall experience are largely the same as other tools. The controls are intuitive, and probably takes most people an hour an two to learn. The software is free, quick to learn, and the fact that it works via the web makes my graphs accessible no matter where I am. One big positive is that it integrates well with Google Drive, so sharing can occur within G Suite. Cons If you are not using Google Drive to store and share documents or graphs, sharing is a little more difficult than it would be in some other applications - like Lucid Charts. Pros It's very easy to learn how to use it and you can build your diagram in only a couple of minutes and export it to a variety of formats. It is free to use. it automatically saves progress and backups up to cloud storage platforms like dropbox, google drive and others. Cons draw.io is an online tool making it unavailable for use when there is no internet connection. Pros The fact that it is online and it is super easy to collaborate with others. Every drawing on the same document at the same time with multiple people works really well. Have used for online whiteboards and flowcharts, just to name a few use cases! Interesting tools like this allows me to look resourceful and interesting. Competition is none, b/c others don't do this kind of a thing. Pros This has made me look better than I am. ;) It's a great way to flush out flow charts and my thoughts. The amount of options are way more than 99% of users will every use or need. Pros First of all, it is free to use, you can also use it directly in your browser and I also like the integration with Google Drive. It is one of the most simple ways to draw quick schemas for databases. Cons I would say the aesthetics are not the most pleasing, but the interface is simple and easy to understand so I would still recommend it! Pros I have been using this tool for a lot of technical documentation to make flowcharts and diagrams. I don't recollect a case where I wasn't able to build what I intended to build using the tool. Some of my teammates even use it to create basic wire-frames for User interfaces. Draw.io was a great tool that we used in order to accomplish this task as it did not require any licenses before hand to be purchased. Pros It is very easy software in order to draw any sort of diagrams or to represent any architecture of the application. It is very user friendly. The icons are really placed well to draw any sort of diagrams. Cons When exporting it to pdf, it is sometimes difficult to get the entire snapshot in one single page.
