### "Help me a ton during my study"

August 10, 2020

5.0

I'm a Computer Science student, I make a lot flowchart for my classes, sometimes I struggle to make flowchart beside using Microsoft Visio after a while came up to this app and I never touch Visio again.

Pros

It's so easy to use, quick and simple, just drag and drop to make shapes, lines, and other objects. It's free and users can access it anywhere without any struggle for Installation or whatsoever.

Cons

Lack of Aesthetic, using this feel like using old a program, sometimes connecting the line between objects is a real struggle and because this is a web-based app, if the browser crash or closed by accident all the progress will be lost unsaved.

### "The de-facto way to make and share technical diagrams"

February 5, 2019

5.0

Excellent experience, this is the only technical drawing diagram I use.

Pros

Draw is hands-down the easiest way to produce high-quality, easily-distributable diagrams. It has large library of shapes and templates. A search functionality provides an easy way to find the right shape or icon to express what it is you're trying to draw. Figures can be stored in a wide variety of cloud services or locally and even offline. Embedding and sharing the diagrams is just as easy. The best part about Draw is its ability to intuitively group and align objects on the page, producing better quality diagrams. Draw also has the ability to apply tags to each element, making the creating of semantic documents possible.

Cons

Some of the icons in the library are a bit out of date. Searching for plugins can't really be done within the app itself, but outside of it.

### "Quick and easy diagramming tool, hardly disappointing"

February 9, 2018

5.0

Pros

This is the kind of tool that you can use right away. Simple and straight web interface with toolbars, and also very smooth for a web browser editor. I find it amazing, because you would expect a tool of this quality as a desktop installable program. They've clearly put a lot of effort and care in developing such a neat tool, and you can see it in details like the management of alignments of blocks and edges. You can export the results in various formats, but possibly you won't even need it since you can just load the diagrams from the cloud. If you use Confluence, there'a a very handy plugin that allows to embed and edit draw.io diagrams.

Cons

It's very hard to find something I don't like. Maybe the presets of components are to few. No wait, I've just checked, there's a ton of them but they're just hidden behind the "More shapes" button. Ok, let's try again. Most of the times, I find the Arrange functions pretty useless and I end up doing everything by hand.

### "Best tool for creating diagrams."

January 23, 2020

4.0

Overall I will say it is a great tool to use. It easy to use and free. It can be integrated with your Google drive . And the best thing is, it has so many shapes which you can use to create your diagram including architecture diagrams for your IT projects built on cloud like AWS, Azure.

Pros

I loved this tool. It is so easy to use and having so many features. It has feature to create diagrams for multiple cloud providers like AWS, Azure etc. As it is integrated with Google drive so you can easily save your diagrams to your drive and sharing is also easy.

Cons

I am using this toll since last 3 years and did not find any cons except sometime it is very slow, specially when your are saving your diagrams.

### "Best place to draw Fowcharts"

August 30, 2019

4.0

Pros

This is the only place i know to draw flow charts efficiently. Got all the flowchart elements & is very easy to use. The created chart can be saved directly to your google drive or Microsoft drive. The created charts will be saved as raw files and you can open them up to make changes. So in all it servers it purpose fully.

Cons

It ma hang sometime, takes time to load in browser as there are so many options loaded to make a chart, so sometime it seems like it got hang/stuck. It may get removed with time/up-gradations.

### "draw.io"

December 3, 2019

3.0

For a free alternative to Visio, this is a great tool! Our company mostly uses Visio for process diagrams that are pretty in nature and given Microsoft's licensing structure, it is a pretty hefty price to do so. While we have some general resistance to change, for the most part when people start using it they are convinced.

Pros

The design is intuitive and easy to play around with to figure out how to do the things we need to do. Additionally the OneDrive integration is great for us as it is a concept our users are comfortable using.

Cons

The biggest downfall to this software is people's resistance to change and a new thing they are not used to. Because this is web based instead of installed software based, we have seen people show unease and resistance to using the software. Having an installed version may help this transition more. Additionally the text controls within shapes are a bit limited.

### "Makes flow chart very easily."

December 30, 2019

5.0

A flowchart making an application that stores directly to google drive is better in my case as Google is more reliable than any other service. The workflow does not need any special training and the user who has used a word processor can use this application.

Pros

A very easy to use UI makes it perfect for me to use. I like how simply I can start and create the diagram without any prior training. The option is similar and no special training required. It just saves directly google drive so no problem for storage as google provides about 15gb of free storage. All the shapes and connectors workes fine, I have used a couple of software before and the workflow is similar to them which makes my life more simple.

Cons

I am unable to create any folder to drive using this application and have to make it manually which needs to open gdrive separately.

### "Super easy to use flow diagram maker"

September 9, 2019

5.0

With draw.io I am able to quickly whip up a simple diagram with no hassle. I can easily work on them away form the office if the need arises. I like using it.

Pros

I like most about draw.io how easy it is to use. The user interface makes everything about it super simple to use. I think they did a good job to focus on making it nice to use. It is so easy, there isn't really a learning curve. Anybody can just start dragging and dropping to create a nice looking diagram. Save options are great as well. The ability to save your work on the cloud is a great feature.

Cons

The only thing I do not like about it is the lack of autosave. It is not a big deal, but it seems like a lot of online browser softwares are moving towards autosave functionality.

### "Schnell hoch qualitative Diagramme / Abbildungen erstellen"

November 21, 2022

5.0

### "Prepare your diagrams with a draw.io web-based app"

December 30, 2020

4.0

Draw.io is a web-based app, so no installation is needed. It's very easy to draft simple diagrams with this tool, the complex diagrams might be more challenging.

Pros

What I like most about Draw.io is that this tool is free to use. It can be integrated for example with your Google suite, so you can easily jump from your Google emailbox or Google Drive to Draw.io. It has a pretty easy navigation and it's simple to use, so basically everybody can use it.

Cons

Draw.io can be working slowly at times, especially when working in it for a longer period of time. Be careful not to loose your content, the good way is to save your work from time to time.

### "Really easy to use and free graph drawing tool!"

April 6, 2018

5.0

Pros

Draw.io is my go to when I need to make a process diagram or map out a new design. It's quite straightforward to use and I especially like the ability for lines to 'snap' to the actions/boxes. It integrates into Google Drive perfectly so no need to install anything either!

Cons

It's genuinely hard for me to think of anything I like least about draw.io although I guess it may be nice to have a standalone app so it is easier to work offline.

### "Diagrams.net works offline!"

August 24, 2022

5.0

I used it to draw diagrams and flow charts for presentations, and save them in cloud storage. It works very well as the missing piece to the Google Docs suite.

Pros

You can download an offline version of diagrams.net (formerly draw.io) from its GitHub page, making it a viable replacement for Microsoft Visio. Of course, if you're on the go, it will also work online and integrate perfectly with Google Drive and other cloud storage.

Cons

It used to be online-only, and the offline version is an Electron app (meaning it uses a lot of RAM for what it does).

### "Flowcharts online and easy"

July 22, 2019

4.0

With Draw we create the diagrams in my work and share them easily with the rest of the team without any problem thanks to their sharing option, which makes it very attractive when choosing a software to create diagrams.

Pros

Draw.io is the best alternative to create diagrams online, has a powerful graphical interface and tons of options to create the diagrams effectively. As it is online you do not need to install an application on your desktop computer and it also connects with Drive, which allows you to always have at hand and safely the documents you have created and share them with your friends or colleagues.

Cons

Draw is an excellent tool, however I would like to see more icons to create more visually friendly diagrams.

### "very good tool, is my ally to make my UML diagrams and others of the subjects I teach."

June 26, 2018

5.0

It allows me to create diagrams uml, entity relationship and Gantt diagrams and work with my students using g-suite and trello.

Pros

It's free, you only pay if you use confluence or jira and the prices are low. I can make several types of diagrams such as uml, entity relationship, flow diagrams, infographics, gantt, among others and export them in multiple formats (png, svg, jpg, pdf, xml and more). The appearance of the diagrams is nice because they have the possibility of adding colors and some effects. It allows to open files from google drive, github, trello, dropbox, onedrive and also from the same device. It integrates perfectly with g-suite, also you can use several google accounts. It is easy to use if you already have some experience with other programs to make diagrams.

Cons

I really do not find something that I hate about this software, I could only say that the support service is somewhat limited since it does not offer a chat, only email and telephone attention. It does not have collaboration options within the same application although it can be done using other tools such as g-suite, trello or jira.

### "Great Solutions for Creating Large-Scale Workflow Diagrams"

December 3, 2019

5.0

Overall, this software has solved our workflow diagram problems at an incredibly affordable price. Once they are able to create a more intuitive interface, the software will become unmatched at its price point.

Pros

The best feature about this software is it's ability to integrate with all the major cloud platforms and it's incredible user experience. This software allows my development team to translate client meetings into large scale workflow diagrams that can be easily shared across platforms, making the development process dead simple from start to finish.

Cons

While the user experience on this software is, in my opinion, great; the user interface design is lacking. This lack of intuitive design can lead to slower turn around time for our employees who aren't entirely familiar with the software.
