The support for Text Request is amazing - they really do care about our questions/concerns and respond quickly, I love how they also utilize LinkedIn to share great information with their users.

Pros

Text Request saves us so much time and makes communicating with our clients and their team members so easy and quick. NO more wasting time calling them with updates or questions, a simple text that any of our team members can respond to and keep the conversation going. SOOOOO valuable.

Cons

I don't like that when we send our group texts they come across as individual texts to the people we are sending to. Makes it confusing to know if everyone received the text or not. We send group texts for a reason so it would be great to receive them as group texts so we can continue the conversation as a group.

Great! It is easy to use. Being able to reach patients and communicate quickly is an advantage. Talking is not always possible so I would consider this a life line. Also the fact that patients can send photos to a private line is fantastic.

Pros

The ability to communicate when a call is not optional

Cons

I am new to the platform so I haven't found any yet.

### "Great Messaging Application"

Our experience has been great. I recommended it to our sister company and they are using it now as well. There was an issue at first because the device we ported over was an apple iPhone and the iMessage was causing a problem, but the tech team figured it out and we were set. We had the same issue with Textel, but their tech team could not figure it out.

Pros

I like the ease of use and the ability to use on your desktop and phone is fantastic!

Cons

It glitches sometimes. I hit send on a message and I get an error that says failed to send. I have to hit send again and it will go. This does not happen all the time, but it can be annoying.

Text Request is super easy to use and extremely helpful when dealing with client concerns/ sales appointments.

Pros

I liked the ease of use/ onboarding and it's extremely useful when connecting with clients and qualifying leads.

Cons

I don't like that the dashboard doesn't automatically default to newest first.

### "Texting Is A Must With Business"

Pros

Texting is convenient and just about a must with business in today's world. There are times when a customer will be easier to get in touch with via text vs getting in touch on a live phone call. There are times when we have just a simple question or something we need to get out to a mass amount of people and this way is so convenient and user friendly.

Cons

One of the major things that we have found with this service is that spam texts aren't able to be deleted, at least not yet anyway. I hope that there is a fix in the works for this.

### "Don't use if you want to get alerted of incoming messages"

We really enjoyed Text Request for the first six months ago. Without the ability to be notified of incoming messages, it is almost useless to us. We might as well buy a cell phone and have the texts sent to that number, but I don't have the time or energy to cancel and start all over again.

Pros

We like the basic functions and love the templates for similar texts that we send over and over.

Cons

Text Request used to alert us of incoming messages but that function stopped working. Obviously we need to know when we have new texts coming in! We were told they were working on a solution, but that was months ago. They suggested we "escalate" messages meaning we set a time (we chose 5 minutes) and after that time, Text Request will send a message to my personal phone letting me know that we have an incoming message that is over 5 minutes old. Having messages sent to my personal cell defeats the purpose of an app on our computer that we can all share.

Reason for choosing Text Request

The salesman was very nice and did a good job of presenting the features of Text Request. Those features were very helpful until the notifications stopped working.

So far everything has been exactly as we could have asked for, aside from the initial onboarding snag. But no problems since then!

Pros

Text Request is incredibly user friendly, and does exactly what they tell you it does. It has streamlined our customer engagement processes, and made getting in contact with potential students so much easier. Additionally, the customer service has been excellent so far! There were a couple problems with the onboarding because we were coming over from another service, and someone got back to me within the hour. Additionally, our assigned rep has been incredibly helpful in teaching us how to use the system and providing suggestions.

Cons

The desktop app for iMac glitches out when you are trying to text. Especially when you are trying to fix a mistake in the text without deleting everything you've written, or when trying to copy or paste something. But that does not happen on the phone app or the actual website.

Pros

I like merge messaging feature that I can tailor a mass text. I also like that you can upload contacts' information to create a contact card. I do wish it was much easier. It was difficult for me to learn but the customer support video meeting was EXTREAMLY helpful. Being able to download message threads.

Cons

The notification alert tones. I would like more customization. What it takes to upload contacts and merge messages. The text request mobile app KILLS my cell phone battery (android).

Pros

My veterinary team and I utilize Text Request primarily to live chat directly with pet owners. We love the ability to chat and that it offers our clients an alternative to speaking on the phone. We also very much like that we have the option to take payments via text and schedule messages for a certain date/time.

Cons

For all of the benefits of Text Request, I have found that the platform often lags or becomes unusable; There are often errors loading or sending messages, as well as a lack of capability of handling certain attachments that are important to send to our clients (estimates, invoices, etc.). Additionally, since I began using Text Request nearly 2 years ago, we have never had the ability to use the "mark as paid" feature; We simply receive an error message when attempting to mark something as paid. This has been reported by me personally to the Customer Support team on several occasions over the past 1-1.5 years and has yet to be corrected. Finally, I do wish that clients would NOT receive a text notification once their payment has been canceled as it tends to confuse people; I would prefer this feature to remain internal only.

Pros

I am able to communicate with clients ASAP. And with technology these days, clients are able to respond rather quickly as well. Text Request makes is easy to send out group messages as we send out reminders for our group clients. We have also set up the contact tags so we can better communicate to the various clients we serve.

Cons

I do find that until you know where everything is and how to use the system, it can be frustrating. I don't like the web based version of text request. I am logged into our text request 4 hours every day for constant communication, however, I am also in other tabs for billing and research. I feel like if there was an app base, I would be able to have that open at the same time instead of clicking on tabs opened on my web browser.

Awesome for the most part, just a few minor glitches.

Pros

Being able to contact clients, other of our locations and staff with one relatively simple platform.

Cons

Not a lot of after hours contact. With clients that are open 7 days a week, having someone available can really help with the client satisfaction of the service.

Overall this app works great as long as you have someone to manage the contacts and keep up with who still works here and who doesn't. Also it is difficult when staff numbers frequently change.

Pros

Ease of use when sending and scheduling messages to be sent. Helps that it can be done in advance.

Cons

No complaints about text request from me. I sometimes wish that if someone chooses to unsubscribe, they would automatically come off the list instead of having to be removed manually.
