Pros

It is very easy to use, and there is no lag in the messaging process.

Cons

I think there should be an option to default the setting to Newest first and not Unresolved first. I also dislike that there is not an option to click on the phone number to call them.

It was recommended to us by Zipwhip. They said you could transfer our contacts and conversations.

### "A Useful Tool"

I believe customers like it as, even when we first applied and offered this to customers, they readily responded to requested information. Sometimes it was overwhelming in the immediate number of responses we received.

Pros

I liked that the transition to this tool was almost a universal skill set. We are familiar with texting in our daily lives so it reduced the learning curve.

Cons

It would be helpful to see a list of prior contacts so one doesn't need to go "out" again to return to a customer.

### "Huge upgrade in both Customer Experience and Operations for our business!"

The experience has been great. It's enhanced our entire on-boarding process with students through registration, it has cut down our staff time in emailing/calling and following up to convert customers. We're easily able to share need to know if quickly and effectively, and it has allowed us to respond to customers questions and need not only more timely, but more cohesively across our team.

Pros

I love the ease of the platform, using the templates, scheduled messages, and how we can all jointly utilize Text Request as a team. It has made communication with clients 10X easier and increased the customer experience 10 fold.

Cons

Since the app upgrade, we're having an issue with one of our devices that seems to be unsolvable – We're unable to scroll through the templates on one phone. Although we've reached out about it, none of the trouble-shooting has worked. We're not ready to get a new device so at one location we simply need to use an iPad on our Square stand which sits horizontally. If the app could rotate horizontally that would be SO HELPFUL! But again, only because we can't get it working on our phone device at one of our locations.

Honestly, Test Request happened to be a client of my husband's firm, New Kind, at the time (in the realm of working on customer experience I believe) and he liked working with the management team as a client so that's what made the call for me.

### "Text Request was a gamechanger."

Easy. There are few things in business that are just easy. It was easy to install, use, learn, and for our members to use. It is a great tool that we use EVERYDAY. It helps us build and maintain our relationships with our members.

Pros

We use this to communicate with our members right were they are in a way that they are comfortable with. We have found new and creative ways to use the ability to text our members to provide fast and easy service. From day one, all of our users were using the system daily! Our members are surprised that we have the ability and THEY LOVE IT! We don't want to do business anymore without this ability. Text request made it easy for us to get started and training was simple and easy.

Cons

We do get a junk text from time to time. Maybe 4-5 per month. It is not a deal breaker, just ignore and move on.

Pros

Beyond the texting/communication and marketing capabilities (which are great), the customer service and support by the Text Request team is unmatched!

Cons

With any technology you wish there would be certain features available. However, that is usually a very unique case and overall does not effect the benefits of text request.

### "Great for what we need!"

These days not everyone wants to, or is able to, have a conversation on the phone, but almost everyone is willing to text. Text Request gives us another quick, easy way to connect to our clients and gives them the ability to reach out to us any time of day. Their customer service is amazing! Any issues have been quickly and easily dealt with and their staff is always incredibly friendly, making sure any issue is resolved and checking up to make sure it stays that way.

Pros

Text Request makes it super easy to communicate with clients and give them more options to contact us with questions or send photos and documents easily. The ability to let multiple users access and reply to all conversations is incredibly helpful and allows us to make sure all questions and needs are answered. We also love the ability to schedule appointment reminders and other texts ahead of time. The Chrome extension makes it incredibly easy to answer texts that just require a quick response.

Cons

We wish there was a way to update a phone number without needing to archive the old number and lose the previous conversation. While the Chrome extension does make it easy to text to numbers from anywhere in Chrome, it would be fantastic if we could integrate Google calendar to schedule and update automatic texts for reminders.

Love it!

Pros

Love the organization and screen view. The fact we can use work numbers makes it much better.

Cons

Do not like messages can not be deleted and functionality a little clunky but works fine.

Its good and i like it. We all have room for improvement but over all it works and does the job.

Pros

It is in real time when you text. Candidates can respond in real time.

Cons

I dont like the lay out on messages view. When i respond its hard to track the correct employees.

### "Ease of use and great data transfer from ZipWhip"

Pros

We receive messages back from our customers quickly without delay, especially when they are sending us photos of their vehicle/home for insurance inspection purposes. Also, we were forced to find a new provider when Zipwhip ended their services this month, and TextRequest made the switch and data transfer super quick and easy.

Cons

The customer/phone # search. It would help a lot if the search bar would populate different customers' phone numbers when partially typed in.

I really like how easy it is to navigate through the system and how easy it is to use.

Cons

I do wish there were easier ways to find out of a text went through or not. like a notification to email associated with the log in user. So we know that the text went through without having to look at the system.

Pros

So easy it is to use! Since we use text request in the office as an additional form of communication with our clients, I love that you can send attachments and save message templates, for example.. I send out notices to clients and follow a certain format, I can save a basic format and edit it to personally fir the client/situation I'm reaching out to which saves time! I also love that we can download the time stamped message and attach it to the client file, Documentation is so easy with text request!

Cons

At first, I had a hard time setting up my account/account layout. Luckily- you can edit it to look pretty much how you want!

The pros and cons above say it all. Despite what you may gleam from my comments, I do look at the service favoribly.

Pros

It works as advertised. I'm not too into frills - especially with the economy as it is now. I'll remember any bonus stuff I get when I was new later in the product cycle when I can afford more frills. Or I'll remember how I was nickeled and dimed for every extra text I sent over the limit.

Cons

Despite the positives of the service. The extra cost of texts over the limit rather bothers me. It feels like a cash grab and that I'm punished for using and appreciating your software.

It was one of the cheapest that had what I was looking for. Another user also vouched for the service.

Simply stated, reliable texting with our patients and clients, and an ease of use made our experience a positive one.

Pros

The ease of use, as well as ease of implementation, paired to make Text Request a surprising easily transition.

Cons

Unfortunately, our initial understanding regarding full HIPAA compliance was in error. This caused a reevaluation of the product regarding its future suitability and cost effectiveness for our organization.

1\. inbound messages are easily overlooked 2. seaching for contacts is slow and tedious 3.price is high

### "Text Request Far Above The Competition"

Pros

I love the ease of use and I really love how easy it is to group together my contacts into groups. I coordinate clinical trials and having the option to do this make it easy to keep my patients in one place.

Cons

Right now I am not loving the laggy UI when scrolling - it seems to stutter no matter what device I am on. Additionally, coloring the message tiles white or gray to indicate read/unread is not visually appealing

### "Great Sales Team and Product"

Pros

I loved how easy it was to decide TextRequest was our best fit after Zipwhip's shut down last year. The sales team was helpful and informative without being too pushy and the onboarding team made the day of implementation easy. The product itself is easy to use and understand.

Cons

There are occassionally some bugs with the interface, but working with techonology that should be expected and with time I can see those buggy isses mentioned earler in this review going away.

Pros

The ability to communicate with patients easier and faster in a daily basis. It’s an easy to use daily form of communication and it allows us to communicate HIPPA info privately!

Cons

That you cannot send a picture without text following it. Sometime i just need to send a photo and it won’t allow me to unless ive texted something with the sending message

Mobile carriers recently added charges to every business texting over their networks (you may have heard about "10DLC registration"). I believe that's the con you're referring to, and I can empathize with you. Ultimately this should be better for everyone - providers like us, businesses like you, and end consumers - because those dollars are going towards reducing spam, so texting won't go the way of email. The transition to TextRequest from ZipWhip was very straightforward and easy to manage. We did not have any issues with the implementation, and our ability to communicate with our customers was uninterrupted.

Pros

Ease of implementation. Ease of use, little training required.

Cons

The desktop application can be a bit latent and a bit slow to update.

Pros

The interface is simple and effective and doesn't take much time to learn.

Cons

The immediate deployment did not display names however as we began to build our database names appear quickly. Telephone numbers do little to detail what customer we are working with.
