Pros

I like the ability to send several messages at once if needed. The ease of being able to use the automated templates, the auto-responders etc.

Cons

I guess sometimes the notifications of the messages can get lost. It has happened when I send a message to a customer, and they respond. It doesn't always notify me with a pop up or sound as when someone sends a text for the first time. I do other things while I use the app so I have had to go back and refresh it to make sure I haven't missed any messages.

Pros

That we can send text messages and were able to transfer all of our text messages from Zipwhip.

Cons

The way the text messages are set up. We would love a way to have every conversation as a block rather than all communication (including our own) to show up. Also when we send a group message, it does not show up in our inbox area until the customer responds, which is not helpful in our line of business.

Reason for choosing Text Request

We choose Text Request based off of Zipwhips recommendation and thinking the platform would be similar.

### "Gets the job done, but could use enhancements"

We are using Text Request to remind patients of their upcoming appointments and thus reduce the number of missed appointments.

Pros

The software gets the job done and allows us to have brief messages between us and our patients regarding their upcoming appointments.

Cons

There should absolutely be a way to preview the messages before they get sent out. We have had several instances where the cvs file upload was wrong and the message went out with Dear \[NICKNAME\] instead of the patient's name. A preview would have avoided this. If there are two messages to the same number, the second message is skipped altogether. We need to be able to send multiple messages to the same number in the same csv upload. It would be really nice to be able to see the person's name along side the phone number, but I haven't figured out how to do this when using the csv import. We don't have time to type in each contact individually.

We are using this as a temporary solution until the product that integrates with our Patient Management system is fully implemented.

Can we dive more into sending two messages to the same contact in the same Merge Message? For most, that'd be sending the same message to the same contact back-to-back, which they'd rather avoid. ### "Constant and Quick Communication"

Pros

Text Request is a great way for me to keep in constant contact with our families (clients). In a world of texting, it is quick and convenient for me to get a message out to one family or send a mass text out to everyone at once. I can set up an auto responder which automatically gets sent to incoming messages to let families know that we will respond as soon as possible or frequently we let them know about upcoming holiday schedule changes.

Cons

As much as I love and utilize the auto responders, the family receives them every 20 minutes. This often gets in the way of our conversation if we are not communicating back and forth immediately.

### "SMS - Healthcare's new way to communicate"

Text request is a excellent platform for our clinic. It allows us directly to communicate with our patients with reminders of appointments, upcoming testing, etc. It also decreases miss appointments and no shows. It allows the patient to communicate with us direct via text instead of having to call.

Pros

Being able to use our main line number for SMS. Creates less confusion with out patients.

Cons

You can't delete messages, just archive.

I really like it. It is easy to use for the most part and was very easy to install

Pros

I really like how easy it is to connect and text our members. You are able to use a lot of characters per each text which really helps! Super easy to use on my cell phone

Cons

I dont like how hard it is to get to from the home screen of a desktop computer. It would be nice to have an app or widget that stayed in the upper corner.

Very good, I have recommended to other agents

Pros

Very friendly, easy to use, cost is competitive, most importantly the support from their staff has been great.

Cons

Only thing I don't like is that I have to change the view to combined view every time I log in. I wish it would just permanently stay on that option all the time. Not a big deal, just a little annoying.

Reason for choosing Text Request

Probably due to the first interaction being so good, salesperson was very helpful, took I believe 30-45 minutes to do a webinar together and answer all questions, the view and functionality was similar to what I was used to.

Pros

The software itself is easy to monitor and we can all use the same software for many different departments of our office example - billing, underwriting, or simply communicating with our clients

Cons

when we do mass text messages if a name was placed on one list for 2 months consecutive they do not reach out on the second time

Overall, I would recommend this app to other medical offices because of the convenience of it for patients.

Pros

I like that fact that I can hold multiple conversations with patients at once. I also love that it is a paper trail for liability reasons.

Cons

I do not like that all the features do not work. I also wish it was a way we could make our own personal preset messages.

The cost per text is for very short text messages. More words per text should be allowed.

This text platform is very easy to use. I've used Text Request for about 4 businesses so far. You can be setup and using this service within a day or so. If you are considering this platform, do it! We absolutely love it!

Pros

I love the mass texting feature. You can add an attachment to your text as well as verbiage. You can also save templates that you will be using over and over. Very easy to use this platform.

Cons

It's not difficult at all to use. We are very happy with this product and it fits our needs!

I enjoy using text request overall.

Pros

Text request is easy to use and has plenty of features, I enjoy the ability to resolve or un-resolve conversations.

Cons

I wish we could utilize looking up keywords and work from that queue. When we have a patient respond "yes" and we look up that keyword each time we press it the initial list of them disappears and we have to research it again. This keeps us from using that feature.

Wish there was a way to specify only ONE auto-response per 24 hours (session) since we receive texts after hours but only need ONE auto-response to send out... not with every message! Once per 24-hours per contact is sufficient!

It is a good replacement for ZipWhip. We text a lot of customers so it is necessary

Cons

It can be a little clunky in how messages are displayed. If you set the view different then the tiles (I prefer list) it reverts back to tiles when you navigate away from the page. I can't figure out how to change the default.
