### "ContentSnare as a Lawyer— My not so secret Client Experience sauce "

May 20, 2026

5.0

I love two things in a business software: efficiency and ease. Contentsnare hits both. It works with my current systems (and my old one, too) and is fantastic for client data collection. I need specific, sensitive data that can’t get lost in email threads— contentsnare NAILS it. Then, I get an easy to export file saved automatically in the correct folders in Google Drive and One Drive. I love ContentSnare SO much that I literally pay for it separately despite having form capabilities in our other practice management software. For metrics— I used Content Snare as part of a law firm consultation process that made over $24,000 the first year. It helped keep hundreds of intake forms perfectly organized and accessible. I literally could not have managed that with email back and forth or documents incoming via email.

Pros

ease of use, ability to comment inside a form, security, ability to integrate into Zapier, automatic follow ups

Cons

Honestly not much I dislike. I’ve used it for years now and I am a big fan. Maybe easier data extraction for line items, but that’s a serious niche use. The name is kind of a misnomer— it isn’t just for “content.” It’s client data and security focused now.

### "Quality, speed, price - choose any three. They genuinely deliver the goods."

May 28, 2026

5.0

The app is good, however one of the really cool things about Content Snare is that you can provide feedback to the team on ideas or little things that could be improved and they genuinely listen and implement feedback. Any issues you get in touch and it's fixed faster than you can

Pros

Content Snare checklists have generated excellent feedback from our accounting clients. They find it much easier to use than our old methods, we have visibility on where they're up to (or whether they've even bothered to open the request), documents are auto-filed to the correct spot in FYI. The templates are easy to build and maintain. Just an all round solid addition to a professional services firm's tech stack. In fact, a solid addition to any business that finds themselves requesting information from clients and experiencing resistance or friction.

Cons

The only thing that could make Content Snare better would be if you got paid to use it. But with how much time it saves we kind of feel like we are...

### "Improved Efficiency and Client Collaboration"

June 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Content Snare has been very positive. It has helped us improve efficiency, reduce the time spent following up with clients, and keep information requests organised and transparent. The platform is straightforward for our team to use and has become a valuable part of our client onboarding and document collection process.

Pros

The biggest benefit is the time saved chasing client information. Automated reminders, clear request lists, and centralised document collection make the process more efficient for both our team and our clients.

Cons

The main challenge is client adoption, particularly for less tech-savvy users. Some clients are also slow to respond, but this is not a limitation of Content Snare. These clients tend to delay providing information regardless of the system being used, and Content Snare's automated reminders help keep the process moving.

### "Onboarding with the End User in Mind"

May 20, 2026

5.0

I probably spent a solid 6-months looking for an onboarding tool that had the flexibility I needed for different types of info I need to gather AND, most importantly, something that looked intuitive and easy to use for the end-user (my client). I don't know how I found Content Snare, but have used it for years and years now. I don't know if you can really put a price on the time and goodwill I saved not having to go back and forth with clients a million times to get one stupid file. Content Snare has saved me money, time, headaches, and a lot of goodwill with my clients. I like to keep my client interactions focused on really positive things, not talking a luddite through uploading a document. Thank you Content Snare!

Pros

I use Content Snare for client onboarding and it is the only tool I have found that clients can (and will) actually use. I don't have to spend time and energy helping them log into something and they don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops that just confuse them. Content Snare has been the only tool I have found that really does make it easy for the end-user to do things.

Cons

I didn't love the automated reminders, but it's an easy toggle to turn those off. So it isn't an issue an all.

### "Content snare - game changer!!"

June 15, 2026

5.0

Fantastic. Intial support from setting up and learning how to build templates etc was second to none.

Pros

What can I say about "Content Snare"? Its been an absolute game changer for us!!! I own and run a small accountancy practice, completely digital, servicing approx 350 clients. Previouly we used another tool to request information from clients. This was clunky, difficult to tailor to individual needs and did not allow us to answer questions directly within the request as each stage for the client if required. Content snare changed all that.... We have now created numerous templates for different circumstances (Onboarding clients, request VAT info, Making tax digital etc). We can also tailor each request very quickly to meet clients needs. We love the function where clients can message us from within the request if they are unsure or need further clarification. This has reduced my daily emails by around 80%. The ability to set recurring requests (Handy for VAT, payroll, etc) is superb. Clients have commented how easy it is to use and again, this has saved us so much time and reduced repetitive work. We now use it for every step of out client journey, from initial onboarding, letters of engagements, through to gathering year end information. Pricing is extremely competitive and the system is also secure (Which is vital in our field.

Cons

Nothing at all. If only all software was as good as this. I have found no negative points at all. New featres are continually being added and I look forward to seeing what is in the future plans.

### "Best onboarding/document collection tool ever - and I've been searching for a LONG time!"

June 2, 2026

5.0

I'm a digital marketer specializing in tech setups and struggled for YEARS trying to find a process for gathering project documentation from my clients. I swear, I tried every tool and project management software there was, but my clients just would not use them, resulting in projects getting endlessly delayed while I waiting for information to come in. This is by far the best onboarding tool I've found. I use it to collect information for my SaaS setups and onboarding, collect documentation to comply with regulations, website content, you name it. The tool is not industry specific and is super flexible, so if you need to gather ANY sort of information from anyone, this is a no-brainer. When I talk to my clients, I just tell them that I'll be sending over a link to a digital "worksheet" for them to submit all their information. No lost emails!! Seriously, best tool ever.

Pros

I love how it handles image and document uploads, the multiple types of fields/questions you can ask, conditional logic, that clients don't need a username and password so they don't feel like they are having to deal with another platform (although you can set it up that way), I like that it's super flexible with how YOU want to organize the information request, the template feature is killer and saves so much time, autosaving is super handy and user friendly, exporting all the submitted info is amazing... But mostly, it's that this has been the only tool I can get my clients to actually use (and no one ever has a technical difficulty because it's so straight forward.) Just a note on their customer service - I've written in several times (mostly requesting new features) and an actual human gets back to me right away. The creators are really in touch with their users.

Cons

I'd like it if they added the ability to be notified when a page or section was complete instead of just the whole document. (But I think there is a workaround for this with Zapier.)

### "Streamlined Client Content Collection and Project Delivery"

June 5, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience has been very positive. Content Snare has significantly improved our client onboarding and content collection process, helping us reduce delays and keep projects organized. The automation features save valuable time, and clients appreciate having a single place to submit everything. It has become an important part of our workflow and has helped us deliver projects more efficiently.

Pros

Content Snare makes it incredibly easy to collect content, documents, and feedback from clients in a structured way. The automated reminders save a lot of follow-up time, and the clear request workflow helps keep projects moving forward without constant back-and-forth emails. It's intuitive for both our team and our clients.

Cons

The API is well-designed and has been reliable for our integrations. One improvement that would make it even better would be broader support for referencing templates by ID across more API endpoints, rather than relying primarily on template names. Using IDs is generally safer and more robust, especially in larger environments where template names may change over time. This is a relatively minor enhancement, though, and hasn't detracted from our overall positive experience with the platform.

### "Content Snare "

June 6, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with Content Snare has been outstanding. It has streamlined our onboarding workflow, improved the information we collect from clients, and helped us present a more professional image. Features such as client questionnaires, identity verification, and guided onboarding have saved our team significant time while creating a seamless experience for clients. It’s become an essential part of our practice and has been a genuine game-changer for our business.

Pros

Content Snare has completely transformed our client onboarding process. We use it as soon as a client accepts our proposal, and it helps us collect everything we need in a structured, professional way. The templates are easy to customise, the client experience is excellent, and we’ve received fantastic feedback from clients about how simple and polished the process feels.

Cons

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. Like any software, there was a small learning curve when setting up our initial templates, but once established, it has been incredibly easy to use. The time invested upfront has paid for itself many times over through improved efficiency and client experience.

### "The ultimate game-changer for client onboarding and document collection."

June 5, 2026

5.0

Implementing Content Snare at Panda Consulting Chartered Accountants has been an absolute game-changer for our workflow, internal efficiency and client on-boarding. Prior to using it, gathering financial information and documentation, compliance info and tax records was a massive administrative bottleneck. Now, it provides our clients with a premium, secure, and branded portal experience where they can upload files and save their progress at their own pace. It makes us look highly professional and allows us to focus on delivering high value advisory work.

Pros

Content Snare has completely eliminated the painful, endless back and fourth email chains when trying to collect documents and answer client queries. The absolute best part for me is the automated reminder schedule. It acts like a robotic team member chasing down clients for outstanding files so my team doesn't have to play the "bad guy". The in-context approval and rejection feature is also incredible; it helps keep everything beautifully organized in one central place. The learning curve for our clients is also not very steep. All our clients can easily use Content Snare.

Cons

Not very much to dislike honestly. But if there's one thing then I would love to see more granular checklist and tracking options directly within the progress charts to mark off items as our internal team processes them.

### "Killed email document chasing across our accounting and wealth divisions"

June 4, 2026

5.0

We run Content Snare across our accounting and wealth teams at LINK, and it has quietly become one of the tools we'd struggle to give up. It solves the oldest problem in professional services: getting clients to send you what you need, in full, without ten follow-up emails. We use it for client onboarding, tax document collection, workpaper prep, and AML verification. Each of those used to live in someone's inbox as a half-finished email thread. Now it's a structured request the client works through at their own pace, and we can see exactly where they're up to. It's not flashy. It just removes friction from a job everyone in our industry hates

Pros

The automated reminders are the single biggest win. They do the nagging so our team doesn't have to, and they're polite enough that clients don't mind, which alone has pulled a lot of dead time out of our onboarding. Security is the other standout given the sensitive information we collect, particularly on the AML side, and it handles that far better than email ever did. Being able to brand the requests so they look like they've come from LINK rather than a generic third party is a nice touch too.

Cons

There's a learning curve when you first build out templates, and getting the structure right takes some upfront thought. Once that work is done it runs itself, but budget the time at setup rather than expecting it to be instant. You'll also need to expect some trial and error - and request feedback from your clients who are using it. The templates are plentiful, but in my opinion, better for inspiration than out of the box deployment.

### "Content Snare solves so many problems for us!"

July 18, 2020

5.0

Content Snare has been great and a huge positive impact for our business. The support team has always been friendly and helpful. I look forward to their continued development and growing old with them. :)

Pros

Content Snare helped us really organize ourselves around Client Communication issues. Before we struggled with back and forth emails and lengthy phone conversations to get the media and answers we needed to complete client projects. It was a major project management headache to keep track of what we needed and what we were missing. Content Snare helped solved this problem by keeping everything in one place, making it intuitive to use for our team and our clients, and including awesome notifications to our clients based on a pre-set schedule we inputed - simply, awesome!

Cons

I originally wished that it integrated with airtable and clickup - two programs we use extensively. But now, Content Snare has remedied this issue by including Zapier integration which means we can automatically send client answers from CS to our other programs. This is a big deal and I hope the CS team keeps improving this functionality.

### "Amazing and versatile platform "

June 4, 2026

5.0

Content Snare is an amazing and versatile tool which I use everyday in my current role. It is incredibly easy to use and removes the frustration of lost files, back and forth email conversations, incorrect submissions etc. For us, we use it as a middle ground for partners to submit multiple different files such as: logo suites, social media content, website banners, advert inclusions, blog posts, entry requests and many other contractual obligations.

Pros

\- Ease of use - Ability to leave comments. Avoids back and forth email conversations - Ability to look back on archived requests/download requests to send to clients - Ability to set specific specs e.g. word limit, dimensions, file types etc. - Automated email reminders to clients

Cons

There is not much that I do not like about Content Snare. I have not explored the platform in its entirety as the parts I use work very well for what I need to do.

### "Content Snare - great product for an accounting firm"

June 23, 2026

5.0

Excellent. Great product, easy to use, and great support. Team dedicated to producing an quality product.

Pros

Content Snare streamlines our client onboarding & data collection processes. The team and clients enjoy using it. It also allows us to more easily keep track of where we are with those processes - it is no longer stuck on someone's inbox. Visibility is better than it has ever been which is important for a small team. The templates are also so helpful and something that is updated regularly.

Cons

Nothing really - it does the job well! It took a bit of time to work out the best way to do things, but with the support of the team and other users, we have built it out to serve its purpose really well.

### "Streamlined Content Collection That's Highly Customizable & Easy to Use!"

June 13, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Content Snare has been very positive. After using it for a few years, it has streamlined my content‑gathering workflow and removed much of the administrative overhead, giving me more time to produce and deliver quality work.

Pros

I most appreciate how Content Snare centralizes client content—copy, media, and files—so everything is organized in one place. It has noticeably reduced back-and-forth emails and sped up the collection process, plus the interface is intuitive for both my clients and me. The granular configuration options are especially valuable: I can tailor each request with deadlines, different request types, and clear instructions so contributors know exactly what’s needed.

Cons

I haven't observed any major drawbacks; the tool integrates well with my workflow. The only minor issue is that a client who's unfamiliar with new platforms may need a short walk-through, though the intuitive UI generally keeps that friction to a minimum.

### "ContentSnare + Marketing Agency"

May 19, 2023

5.0

Pros

We switched to Content Snare from Alchemer and have never looked back! The automatic saving is a huge plus for our clients at our agency, and the automatic email reminders save us so much time. The building of the survey is fast and quick, with the ability to save multiple templates. It also allows you to personally brand your materials and set up customizable emails to go to your clients. We implement 60+ new clients a month and this is the best Creative Brief tool we have used at our marketing agency. The customer service is also on point - any time you have a question, the live chat gets back to you very quickly and help you find solutions to a unique question format that you're looking for! The program is also extremely affordable compared to other competitors. I highly recommend utilizing ContentSnare!

Cons

### "Always look forward to learning what's new in Content Snare"

October 1, 2017

5.0

Content Snare is a huge time saver when it comes to the usually painful task of extracting text and media content. It also helps with scoping out all the requirements you have from your clients and getting a quick insight into what content is still outstanding.

Pros

One of the best things about Content Snare is that whilst it is still 'young' in terms of its time in the market, it has some great features and the developers are keen to listen to their users and evolve the product to best suit their needs. Things that were a bit of an issue one week, are resolved and improved upon the next. It is an ideal solution for collecting detailed information from clients for all kinds of projects and at a glance, both the client and us can see exactly what information is still required to complete a project. The fact it gently 'nudges' them with follow up emails is a huge time saver for us. Plus, it tells us when they have added new content so we can gauge the progress of all our projects.

Cons

Currently emails etc are all Content Snare branded, sending from their domains, which has added some confusion for our clients. Also, for some reason, clients have had difficulty 'signing up'. It's a very straight forward process so we have taken to sending the invitation to clients and then walking them through the sign up process and giving them a quick tour of how it all works. There are videos available, but we have found 5 minutes on the phone adds a personal touch and compared to the time Content Snare will save us, it's worth the input.

### "Content Snare is a necessity for web developers"

February 19, 2019

5.0

I am a web developer that specializes in WordPress theme development. In the past, clients would send content via email, which is cumbersome because some of the messages go to spam or its not in the right format or they forget to attach a file and on and on. Content Snare helps me to eliminate all of these frustrations by allowing me to set up content requests with instructions and due dates so I get what I need, how I need it, when I need it. If you are a web designer or web developer or any other person that relies on others to provide you content, you need Content Snare.

Pros

Automatic reminders to clients to submit their content.

Cons

It does not currently integrate with Zapier. Ideally I would love to be able to automate creating new clients in Content Snare after they are added to my CRM. I would also like a secure way for clients to submit their passwords for any accounts I need access to.

### "Content Snare has made amazing improvements to my business workflow."

September 26, 2017

5.0

I get a smooth workflow and that will allow me to scale my business.

Pros

I love that I can set up templates and gather all the client information in one place. My new developer was really impressed also to find all the client content all together ready to go.

Cons

The thing I like least about Content snare is that I didn't have it 12 months ago! Until Content Snare I was having all the traditional issues of content submission being the bottleneck in my business.

### "Best Software for Client Content"

June 22, 2020

5.0

Perfect solution for requesting content from clients.

Pros

Super easy process of creating sections / pages where you can request for content from users. Excellent instructions on how to set up and even some food templates to get you started.

Cons

A few clients still felt this was an extra step they didn’t want to use - however I think that’s just clients inevitably not wanting to get you content.
