### "The perfect Information Collection and Client Tool"

July 4, 2026

5.0

Content Snare has become a very useful tool for our accounting firm. We use it for client onboarding, companies office administration, tax document requests, AML-related information, workpaper support and annual compliance processes. For us, it is not a website content tool; it is a practical way to collect structured client information and documents. It has improved the client experience and reduced the amount of manual follow-up required from our team.

Pros

Content Snare makes client information gathering much easier and more structured. It replaces long email chains and manual chasing with a clear client request, automated reminders, and a proper record of what has been received. The conditional fields and automation are especially useful because clients only see what is relevant to them. That makes the process simpler for clients and more efficient for our team.

Cons

Like any system, there is some setup time required at the beginning to get the templates and questions right. However, once that work is done, the time saved across repeated client requests is well worth it.

### "Streamline Client Questionnaires"

June 26, 2026

5.0

Content Snare has helped save time and reduce back and forth followup with clients by having the client go through a digital checklist, upload their documents, and answer questions prior to our discussion of their tax return. This has especially saved time waiting on things like "spouse taxable income" which everyone always seems to forget. It also has the ability to verify client identity and has upgrades to assist with AML requirements. Definitely an App that I'm happy to have in my tech stack!

Pros

Very reasonable pricing for the amount of time saved. Excellent client support. You can email the creator of the product and he will respond. Very switched on team that actually cares about their product and appreciates feedback.

Cons

Can be a little tricky to get started with making your own templates; however, lots of templates available which are easily modified, and their onboarding support is excellent, which can help get you started.

### "Improved Efficiency and Client Collaboration"

June 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Content Snare has been very positive. It has helped us improve efficiency, reduce the time spent following up with clients, and keep information requests organised and transparent. The platform is straightforward for our team to use and has become a valuable part of our client onboarding and document collection process.

Pros

The biggest benefit is the time saved chasing client information. Automated reminders, clear request lists, and centralised document collection make the process more efficient for both our team and our clients.

Cons

The main challenge is client adoption, particularly for less tech-savvy users. Some clients are also slow to respond, but this is not a limitation of Content Snare. These clients tend to delay providing information regardless of the system being used, and Content Snare's automated reminders help keep the process moving.

### "Best onboarding/document collection tool ever - and I've been searching for a LONG time!"

June 2, 2026

5.0

I'm a digital marketer specializing in tech setups and struggled for YEARS trying to find a process for gathering project documentation from my clients. I swear, I tried every tool and project management software there was, but my clients just would not use them, resulting in projects getting endlessly delayed while I waiting for information to come in. This is by far the best onboarding tool I've found. I use it to collect information for my SaaS setups and onboarding, collect documentation to comply with regulations, website content, you name it. The tool is not industry specific and is super flexible, so if you need to gather ANY sort of information from anyone, this is a no-brainer. When I talk to my clients, I just tell them that I'll be sending over a link to a digital "worksheet" for them to submit all their information. No lost emails!! Seriously, best tool ever.

Pros

I love how it handles image and document uploads, the multiple types of fields/questions you can ask, conditional logic, that clients don't need a username and password so they don't feel like they are having to deal with another platform (although you can set it up that way), I like that it's super flexible with how YOU want to organize the information request, the template feature is killer and saves so much time, autosaving is super handy and user friendly, exporting all the submitted info is amazing... But mostly, it's that this has been the only tool I can get my clients to actually use (and no one ever has a technical difficulty because it's so straight forward.) Just a note on their customer service - I've written in several times (mostly requesting new features) and an actual human gets back to me right away. The creators are really in touch with their users.

Cons

I'd like it if they added the ability to be notified when a page or section was complete instead of just the whole document. (But I think there is a workaround for this with Zapier.)

### "A huge time saver for collecting client documents"

July 14, 2026

5.0

We've had a great experience with Content Snare. It's become a core part of our client onboarding process and has saved our team countless hours of administrative work. Instead of chasing documents, we can spend more time actually working on client files. Our clients have also found it easy to use, and the support team has always been quick to respond whenever we've had questions. I'd recommend it to any business that regularly needs to collect documents or information from clients.

Pros

The biggest thing for me is how much time it saves. Before Content Snare, collecting documents meant endless email chains, missing attachments, and constantly following up with clients. Now everything is organized in one place with automatic reminders, so files come in much faster and it's easy to see what's still outstanding. It also gives clients a much more professional experience.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't found much to complain about. There was a bit of a learning curve when setting up our templates, but once we had our workflows built, it became very straightforward. I would love to see even more customization options in the future, but that's a minor point.

Reason for choosing Content Snare

We looked at SuiteDash and a few other client portal and document collection platforms, but Content Snare was much more focused on solving the specific problem we had. It was easier to set up, simpler for clients to use, and the automated document requests and reminders worked much better than the more all-in-one platforms we evaluated. It fit our workflow without adding unnecessary complexity.

### "Saved Our Team Countless Hours and Emails Chasing Info"

August 6, 2026

4.0

Overall, our experience with Content Snare has been excellent. It's become an important part of our client onboarding and tax return workflow, helping us streamline information requests, reduce follow-up, and keep jobs moving. The time savings have been significant, and our clients appreciate having a single, secure place to provide everything we need. It's a simple product that solves a very real problem, and it's been a worthwhile investment for our practice

Pros

What I like most about Content Snare is that it takes the hassle out of collecting information from clients. Instead of endless email chains and reminders, clients receive a clear checklist of exactly what's required, can upload everything securely in one place, and the system automatically follows them up if they haven't responded. It saves our team a significant amount of admin time, keeps jobs moving, and gives clients a much smoother experience

Cons

The main downside is that there's a bit of upfront time involved in building good request templates. Once they're set up, the efficiency gains are huge, but getting those templates right initially does take some effort. Thankfully, it's very much a one-time investment.

### "Love ContentSnare! "

July 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, I think it's a good system to use especially if you come across any issues with chasing clients down for documents. For me personally, I think it has worked efficiently for our firm and we're able to get more documents than we did before. Additionally, the support team is really helpful and responsive whenever we come across an issue.

Pros

One of the best things about contentsnare is the ability to place deadlines for client document requests. With that, I also like how the system sends email reminders to clients, and from the backside, these reminders are completely customizable. Additionally, being able to conversate with the client within the system when they do submit documents is also convenient because more often than not, clients submit the wrong documents, so being able to leave a comment on their submissions helps both us and the clients gather the correct documents

Cons

Our document requests recur on a monthly basis. The thing I dislike about contentsnare is how we have to manually set-up these requests every month. I hope there's a way to automate recurring requests so we don't have to spend the time duplicating requests again and again every month.

### "Content Snare: The Only Trap I’m Happy to Walk Into"

July 10, 2026

5.0

I couldn't do what I do without it now. The uptime has been exceptional, and support when needed was available. They are very community-focused and driven.

Pros

The ease of use and the ability to customise requests make it suitable for any situation. The automation and integration options save a large amount of time but, most importantly, create a smooth process for clients. Obtaining documents has never been so easy.

Cons

Previously, you couldn't use your own mobile number to message clients, but they have recently fixed that.

### "Simplifies client onboarding for my accounting firm"

July 8, 2026

5.0

I've used Content Snare for about 4-5 years now and have had an overall positive experience. They're consistently rolling out updates and are open to feedback. Customer support has been responsive and helpful.

Pros

As an accountant, Content Snare simplifies onboarding for my firm's clients. We use the Templates feature to send new clients an onboarding checklist that's standardized for each type of client (individuals, businesses). The templates ensure we get the info we need for each stage of the engagement upfront. Clients know exactly what we need from them, which starts the relationship off on solid footing. I also like Content Snare's robust field types that speak directly to our needs as an accounting firm. For example, the Sensitive Info field allows the input to be masked and on the back-end only privileged users can view the client's inputs.

Cons

The colors can be distracting and the interface can be buggy, but the bugs have become less frequent over the years. They are quick to implement fixes though and no bugs have been critical.

### "Gamechanger for Client Information Gathering"

July 9, 2026

5.0

Great customer support. It's made our life so much easier in gathering information efficiently. We have been looking for something that makes the process of securely gathering client information easier and more transparent. Content Snare does this well.

Pros

ContentSnare has centralised how we gather client information and made it more secure than just using emails backwards and forwards (which has saved us a lot fo time).

Cons

It's possibly too flexible in how many ways you can set it up! It's a good problem, and the templates available are very helpful.

### "Content Snare "

June 6, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with Content Snare has been outstanding. It has streamlined our onboarding workflow, improved the information we collect from clients, and helped us present a more professional image. Features such as client questionnaires, identity verification, and guided onboarding have saved our team significant time while creating a seamless experience for clients. It’s become an essential part of our practice and has been a genuine game-changer for our business.

Pros

Content Snare has completely transformed our client onboarding process. We use it as soon as a client accepts our proposal, and it helps us collect everything we need in a structured, professional way. The templates are easy to customise, the client experience is excellent, and we’ve received fantastic feedback from clients about how simple and polished the process feels.

Cons

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. Like any software, there was a small learning curve when setting up our initial templates, but once established, it has been incredibly easy to use. The time invested upfront has paid for itself many times over through improved efficiency and client experience.

### "Killed email document chasing across our accounting and wealth divisions"

June 4, 2026

5.0

We run Content Snare across our accounting and wealth teams at LINK, and it has quietly become one of the tools we'd struggle to give up. It solves the oldest problem in professional services: getting clients to send you what you need, in full, without ten follow-up emails. We use it for client onboarding, tax document collection, workpaper prep, and AML verification. Each of those used to live in someone's inbox as a half-finished email thread. Now it's a structured request the client works through at their own pace, and we can see exactly where they're up to. It's not flashy. It just removes friction from a job everyone in our industry hates

Pros

The automated reminders are the single biggest win. They do the nagging so our team doesn't have to, and they're polite enough that clients don't mind, which alone has pulled a lot of dead time out of our onboarding. Security is the other standout given the sensitive information we collect, particularly on the AML side, and it handles that far better than email ever did. Being able to brand the requests so they look like they've come from LINK rather than a generic third party is a nice touch too.

Cons

There's a learning curve when you first build out templates, and getting the structure right takes some upfront thought. Once that work is done it runs itself, but budget the time at setup rather than expecting it to be instant. You'll also need to expect some trial and error - and request feedback from your clients who are using it. The templates are plentiful, but in my opinion, better for inspiration than out of the box deployment.

### "Definitely Use This Product!"

May 27, 2026

5.0

A breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale room. From the very beginning they have been helpful, understanding and generally a great company to work with. I can't recommend this product enough.

Pros

It's so easy to navigate and use even if you aren't tech savvy - this comment is from staff & clients. Content Snare are constantly upgrading and evolving as they listen to what their clients need and act on it in a timely manner. The customer support is top notch and regular webinars that they provide are always insightful and never dull. The reminder schedule function is life changing! Especially as it is part of my job to gather client information and sending reminders is time consuming at the best of times. This function gives me back time which is so important in this line of work.

Cons

They can't make our clients complete the requests and provide their information....but I don't think they are capable of that! (The reminder schedule function definitely helps with this though)

### "Streamlining Client Workflows with Content Snare"

May 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, Content Snare has been a really positive addition to our systems. Before using it, we were relying on email threads and editable documents, which often led to missed information, delays, and a lack of clarity across the team. Now, everything is centralised, structured, and easy to track. It’s helped streamline our internal workflows, reduce stress for the team, and create a much clearer, more guided experience for clients. It’s one of those tools that seems simple on the surface, but actually has a big impact on efficiency, consistency, and client experience over time.

Pros

What I like most is how simple and structured the whole process is—for both us and our clients. Everything sits in one place, which means anyone on the team can pick up a job and instantly see what’s still outstanding or needs chasing. The templates have been a huge time-saver, allowing us to create consistent, repeatable processes across different client types without starting from scratch each time. The automated reminders also save hours every week and take the pressure off manually chasing clients. From a client perspective, it’s far more intuitive. They’re guided step by step, only see the questions relevant to them, and can complete things in their own time without the confusion that often comes with long email chains

Cons

Like any system, it takes a bit of initial setup to get templates and processes exactly how you want them, particularly when you’re tailoring workflows for different services. Also, if clients are used to more traditional methods (like email or Word documents), there can be a small adjustment period while they get comfortable with a new way of providing information.

### "Improved Campaign Readiness Through Automated Asset Requests"

June 23, 2026

5.0

Pros

We were previously relying on manual follow-ups via email and often weren't requesting assets early enough. As a business that promotes partner offers through paid media placements across our ecommerce and discount platforms—including newsletters, website banners, app push notifications, and other marketing channels—we need to collect creative assets and copy well in advance of campaign launches. With Content Snare, we can automate and schedule asset requests ahead of time, ensuring partners receive requests early and consistently. Required fields help guarantee that all necessary creative assets, copy, links, and campaign details are submitted, reducing back-and-forth communication and minimizing the risk of missing information that could delay launches.

Cons

I wish there was a way to have our merchants approve what we creative for them through the portal - for example: we request for creative for our newsletters, but once they are completed it would be great to send the build assets back for their approval. Also would be great to have other API integrations such as Salesforce

June 23, 2026

Excellent. Great product, easy to use, and great support. Team dedicated to producing an quality product.

Pros

Content Snare streamlines our client onboarding & data collection processes. The team and clients enjoy using it. It also allows us to more easily keep track of where we are with those processes - it is no longer stuck on someone's inbox. Visibility is better than it has ever been which is important for a small team. The templates are also so helpful and something that is updated regularly.

Cons

Support has been fantastic! The team is very responsive! It has been a great experience. We have been using ContentSnare for over 4 years.

Pros

### "Excellent Solution for Managing Client Documents"

June 12, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Content Snare has been extremely positive. As a law firm, collecting documents from clients can often be one of the most time consuming parts of the intake process. Content Snare has helped streamline that process by providing a clear and organized way for clients to submit information and documents. It has improved efficiency for both our staff and our clients, reduced the need for repeated follow ups, and helped us move matters forward more quickly. The platform is easy to use, dependable, and has become a valuable part of our workflow.

Pros

We are a law firm and use Content Snare to collect documents and information from our clients. It has significantly improved our intake process by making it easier for clients to submit the documents we need and for our team to track what has been received. Since implementing it, we have seen faster turnaround times, fewer follow up emails, and a more organized workflow overall. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has become an important part of our document collection process. We have been very happy with the product and the results it has delivered.

Cons

We have had a very positive experience with Content Snare and have not encountered any major issues. Like any software, there is a small learning curve when setting up requests and workflows for the first time, but once configured it is straightforward to use. Overall, we have been pleased with the platform and do not have any significant complaints.

This means that once the client signs the Ignition proposal, the client information collection is triggered automatically by Content Snare. No more client emails chasing info from me. It's so much smarter

Pros

I love the fact I can connect my proposal software with Content Snare so it can do all the client collection of data once they sign the proposal. It saves me so much time.

Cons

### "Content Snare has enhanced our capacity to build website more efficiently."

June 9, 2020

5.0

Content Snare has allowed us to streamline our process of gathering our client’s website content, while simultaneously easing the burden on the client. It’s fantastic! Their customer support is second to none. Every email has been replied to personally by the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and he encourages feedback and welcomes new feature suggestions! With this in mind, less than a week ago I reported a minor issue relating to updating "due dates", and this has since been remedied! While I'm on the subject of enhancements to the platform, this morning (Jun 8, 2020) Content Snare made a public announcement of 5 NEW FEATURES included in today's software update, including: 1 - Multi-answer fields (repeaters) - allow clients to create multiple answers for one field 2 - Multi file uploads - clients can upload multiple files to one field 3 - Zapier - create automated workflows with Content Snare (this one is huge!) 4 - Request owners - you can assign a team member that "owns" each request. Emails will appear to come from that person, you can filter the request list on owner and you can choose to send email notifications for only their requests 5 - Multilingual interface - the ability to translate the interface to other languages Here's looking forward to making use of more of these features in the coming days, weeks and months, thank you Content Snare!

Pros

Primarily, Content Snare's comprehensive feature set stands out, as they have solved a significant challenge we've had for years. We've tried other methods (ie Email, Google Forms, ClickUp, Excel, etc.) to capture and manage website content received from clients, but signing up to Content Snare has helped meet all our needs, and elevate our capacity to serve our clients. So much so, we've been receiving feedback from clients this week with phrases such as "I am loving the Content Snare software" and "Your suggestions (and) outlines help tremendously". When clients respond this favorably you know you've struck gold!

Cons

If I have to come up with a "con" I'd have to say that I'm kicking myself for not signing up sooner. I tried to go it alone for too long, and now have to eat humble pie. I could have saved so much time and made my past clients happier...but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
