### "Content Snare - Saves You A Lot of Time and Headaches "

If you hate constantly chasing clients for content, Content Snare will save you time and money. It's relatively easy to use and if you need support the people on the other end are educated about the product and are very helpful.

Pros

The automated reminders that are sent out to clients reminding them that the deadline is approaching and that they still need to upload content is fantastic, this feature alone has saved us a lot of time not having to send clients constant follow up emails or phone calls.

Cons

No real cons to speak of. It does take a little time to get up to speed on how to set up your personal templates, but I would expect that of any piece of software which gives you flexibility to create your own content requests templates.

The biggest issue was clients emailing information in lots of separate emails and keeping track of it. Content Snare cuts down on all the confusion and allows clients to upload their info in one place. I can add fields as necessary if I require more info or items such as images. And clients can fill in what they know and save their progress so that they can come back later to fill in the rest.

Pros

The setup is easy as is creating a request. You can add a whole bunch of fields to your form and customization is fairly straightforward. There's also options to add reminder schedules to each request. The best part is that it cuts down on all the email back and forth and keeps everything in one place.

Cons

Nothing stands out here. The software does what it says and works well.

We’re sending requests for content and information all the time, from one off projects to ongoing weekly content requirements, through to onboarding and offboarding surveys.

Pros

The automatic reminders are a game changer. Building out templates has forced me to really think about the business and how we do things, which improves so many things.

Cons

I can’t think of any negatives right now. I suppose it takes longer to set up a request than it does to send an email, but the upside makes up for it.

Pros

We can adapt it to work well with our design system, makes website building more efficient, fits effortlessly in the way we work as a company and a team. Clients enjoy using Content Snare too, it saves us time and the client money, because we don't have to build costly functionality into our Website CMS, for the client to amend pages or elements.

Cons

Not much really - can sometime be a bit slow, and would like the option to manage section templates better, we are adding more section templates each week and when we want to use one have to use a very long selection menu now, would like a pop up page/modal function to choose from a page with a search and fi

I get a smooth workflow and that will allow me to scale my business.

Pros

I love that I can set up templates and gather all the client information in one place. My new developer was really impressed also to find all the client content all together ready to go.

Cons

The thing I like least about Content snare is that I didn't have it 12 months ago! Until Content Snare I was having all the traditional issues of content submission being the bottleneck in my business.

we thought it would be a good fix but found it quite frustrating to set up and clients found it very frustrating to use.

Pros

we thought , as a small web dev team that this software would help us manage multiple client accounts and solve that eternal issue of trying to get content out of clients.

Cons

we found it was not that intuitive and did not always let the client know we were waiting for them, also our clients found it confusing to use. we have now looked at another system

Hi John. Looks like this review was posted about 5 hours before we rolled out a simpler, more intuitive interface for clients. It was in the works for about 12 months. Unlucky timing I guess, but if you'd like to give it another go we'd be happy to set you up with an extended trial.

Pros

Genus. The ability to have fields for all fo the info you need​ from clients, and then sending them automatic reminders is amazing.

Cons

I think the client-facing interface could be more user-friendly. Something as simple as save buttons rather than checkboxes​ would help a lot.

Perfect solution for requesting content from clients.

Pros

Super easy process of creating sections / pages where you can request for content from users. Excellent instructions on how to set up and even some food templates to get you started.

Cons

A few clients still felt this was an extra step they didn’t want to use - however I think that’s just clients inevitably not wanting to get you content.

Overall, I have found Content Snare to be a must have for any web design agency or any agency that has trouble getting content from clients.

Pros

This product is unlike anything I have come across. The way it collects content from a client in an easy fillable form is genius. The add-on features of the CRM tool or automatic emails saves our team a lot of time from following up. The templating feature is also great!

Cons

I wish they had a better sitemaping tool. The way the pages are ordered on the request is the biggest issue we run into with a client. However, James, the founder reached out to me personally to let me know a new sitemapping tool is in the works.

It enabled me to support a business that recently launched some amazing software that has really helped my business :)

Pros

After I completed the initial set-up of forms, in a couple of clicks I can send the requests to my clients to fill out. Each client has their own folder where all of their content is collated. You can track progress and send out reminders. There is no dodgy formatting that comes with client content!

Cons

I struggled a bit with the initial set-up, however, the support I received was excellent and everything is now a breeze (so not really a con!)
