I made the switch from ADP and I can honestly say that the experience has been better in every single way! Pros The customer service is the area that Onpay shines the most. Which is followed very closely by the fair cost for service. Cons Some of the advanced features aren't always intuitive, but customer support is always fast and friendly. Cons Integration was not difficult. There are five pay period in few months if you run weekly payroll . So we have to mannually turn off deductions in 5th week. Reliable, easy to use, and accessible customer service, it seems to me the ideal company for a small business like ours. Cons I have no cons at this time, and I'm grateful. " May 31, 2018 5.0 Easy to operate for someone without experience in finance or HR, great price, running payroll is simple and effortless. Pros The software is very intuitive and easy to use. I had no problem setting it up and like that employees are sent a link to input their personal and bank information upon hire/set-up. This removed the possibility of data entry errors for me and also saved time. The dashboard and reports are easy to read for someone without an HR or finance background. I particularly enjoy the warnings that alert me when something could be off during payroll processing. For ex., if an employee's pay is 15% more or less than the average of the last 2 payrolls a warning alerts me to this and I can double check my entry (our employees are paid on an hourly basis so their hours can vary). Cons The direct deposit set-up was a bit tricky and the only part of the process that was not intuitive. However, a quick chat with a customer service representative quickly got me back on track and I was able to set up direct deposit for our employees. Pros Very easy to generate weekly payroll. Good reports. Cons Set up to map to my chart of accounts was less clear than it should be. More examples would help. This software takes care of everything so you don't have to worry. Pros The program is really easy to use, learn, and the customer support is superb. I especially like how clean the interface is and the immediate support offered. Cons I would like some guidance and orientation to sync the transactions to my quickbooks. I love that I can do different types of payroll all at once (hourly, bonuses, commissions, salary, etc.). Cons There is a bit of a learning curve when first using the software, but even that is quickly over come with time and great customer service. I looked into mulitple payroll companies and decided to go with OnPay. I am extremely happy with my choice. At this point, I only use them for payroll and it is only one employee, but I know they have additional services that will help me as I continue to grow. The peace of mind knowing they take care of all the taxes has been awesome. When you compare it to QuickBooks Payroll and the fact you pay for the payroll service and then still have to take care of the taxes yourself makes the additional cost of using OnPay a no brainer.
