October 6, 2017 5.0 Pros OnPay software does everything we need - direct deposit, all taxes and payment of taxes, employee payroll information, many different reports for employees and for the business, and it will integrate with Quickbooks Accounting software as well. Great program that has helped us immensely. Cons Although initially I had to look up some information, I always found the answers I was looking for in their search feature. Also, their customer service was always super prompt in answering me. The support team is very responsive and willing to research questions. Cons Not the most full featured offering. I had never done payroll before and customer support was so helpful in getting everything up and running. Now, it is so quick and easy to process payroll. Cons That I can't permanently uncheck notify employees. Since we don't offer that feature, sometimes I forget to uncheck it and then the employees call and want to know how to check their payroll info. Which that was a preference in settings. Cons Quickbooks integration is not the best, but that feature for payroll from third parties can be difficult to integrate because companies process/account for payroll differently. Customer support is always helpful, and this solution takes a lot of administrative time off of my plate. Pros This software allows me to complete my payroll as easily as I can. After initial setup, which was rather simple, I can run payroll in a few clicks. OnPay also handles all of my state and federal filing obligations, so it's one less thing I have to handle. Cons A little more interactive setup process may have been nice, but I was probably making it more difficult than I needed to. Thorough and helped when a mistake was made (on my end). Online based so I can do from home. Can pay 1099s. Cons I don't have anything I don't like. Customer support was great in getting the payroll for my own company and my clients set up. One company needed payroll run right away, and they were extremely helpful in getting it done; especially the Direct Deposits for the employees. Pros The menus are very intuitive and when tech support is needed, they are very friendly and professional. Cons I didn't hear about OnPay years ago. Minor complaint is there is only one choice of paper to print employees' copy of the W-2. Reason for choosing OnPay Better interface, ease of use and value. Review Source KM Khurram M. The company also keeps me up-to-date by conducting frequent webinars and partner solutions. Pros Once you log in, there are test accounts to learn how to set up your payroll along with phone and email support. It also offers a free account for accountants for their practice. A novice can quickly learn to navigate and familiarize with its features to configure and run payroll confidently. Cons It checks all the boxes for a small or medium-sized business. Cons Sometimes it can get confusing trying to figure out what options to select when adding employee benefits but that's mostly for things I haven't done.
