Pros The customer support! Often SaaS platforms and tech companies have terrible customer support that usually starts with navigating through a maze of FaQs. OnPay's team is quick and helpful--which is the best you can ask for in when running payroll! Cons For businesses with irregular payroll requirements you may need to do some workarounds, but they are easy and the team is helpful in guiding you towards the best path. Processing payroll is quick. Cons Direct deposit for paychecks to employee was a little tricky to set up. I missed the email about how to get approved for direct deposit. The program is easy to use and if you need help the customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. On top of that it was the most most affordable of all the payroll services I reviewed. Cons Sometimes employees don’t receive onboard emails. Whether they are going to spam, I don’t know. When I have questions for customer service they provide simple solutions quickly. Cons Finding information outside of the dashboard, particularly in Settings, can be a bit tricky. Pros As an auditor, it is easy to talk about the payroll processes from Onpay with clients to determine what reports I need. Cons I cant think of any cons at the moment for Onpay. I have only used this software briefly, but from my experience it seems good. My past provider (PCX)set me up with a plan and after my first year the fees increased 110% and the same amount with no payroll processing during Covid-19 shutdown. I had to switch. Cons Nothing.
