As a live broadcast and on-demand streaming network, reliability and performance are critical—and they have consistently delivered on both. Their CDN infrastructure provides smooth, high-quality streaming with minimal buffering (if any – we haven’t experienced it due to any fault of 5CentCDN), even during peak traffic. The HLS delivery has been stable and responsive, allowing us to maintain a professional broadcast standard across our live and pre-recorded TV streams. What stands out most is the balance between affordability and performance. For a growing network like ours, having access to enterprise-level streaming capabilities without excessive costs has been a major advantage. We have been able to develop and test, and grow, and had it not been for 5CentCDN, this wouldn’t have been possible at the enterprise level. Setup and integration were straightforward, and the platform gives us the flexibility we need to scale channels, manage streams, and support our expanding audience. If you’re building a streaming platform or need dependable CDN delivery for live or on-demand content, 5CentsCDN is a strong, cost-effective choice. For us, it’s been the best choice. We’ve tried several and one, we were with them for our first few years, and they decided they didn’t want our money anymore – they started treating us as less than. 5CentCDN has been the square business company and team that we should have been with from the start. We’re here now. And that’s where we’ll be for as long as they’ll have us. Cons I can't think of one thing. But that's largely because I came to 5CentCDN already understanding what I needed from them. That doesn't mean I think I know all there is to know about streaming. I don't. It is simply to say that because I knew exactly what I needed - delivery of a robust and true stream of what I send from my server to them to then go out to where you find our target population in the USA, the Diaspora created by the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade, and continental Africa - there have been no dislikes. We were with them for years as I developed our tech stack, and they stopped treating us like they wanted our money. Mind you, I choose our platform before I pay my personal bills. I don't have a personal cell phone. Haven't had one for almost four years now because I use that money to pay platform bills to keep it going until we get to our launch. And they - Frontlayer - started treating me like that. I work HARD for that money and they did that...? Never again, even in the next life. YouTube and Facebook... Mainly because their system autoblocked me over airing content that I have verifiable licensing to use. I even tried airing content that had my own 100% self-created music in it, and they gave me no clear path to submit my clearance paperwork. And when I say 100% self-created, let me qualify that... At the time, I was a student and faculty member at Texas Southern University. I had access to everywhere and everyone, all the way up to the President of the institution. When I was working in the TSU TV Studio, I had my own office, and I kept my mobile recording gear in my briefcase at all times because I was getting music downloaded into my heart all the time and didn't want to miss any of it, trying to rely on my memory. During that prolific period, I was hurting for authentic drums, woodwinds, and brass, so I would go to the band hall where the Ocean of Soul practiced. I would have them strike drums, etc., so I could record it with my Blue Spark mic, Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, into Pro Tools 8. I'll never forget this. And I created more than 300 songs with just those instruments. The only other instruments were the voices of a handful of my classmates, along with my own voice. Both YouTube and Facebook were taking down my streams, saying I didn't have clearance for my own music. At the time, I was not only making music for my therapy. I was building the platform that 5CentCDN now provides the stream for because I was fresh outside of the mainstream music industry. I was in it. I was the guy who shot/built the teams that shot all of the celebrity concerts that came to Houston, and through a particular concert promotions company headed up by two celebrity guys.
