Going back to when we first started using the service, it provided a modern, convenient and easy way for us to facilitate Pros The ability to customise items to your business, such as how much notice clients have to cancel or take up a swap, how long before the swaps expire is a huge plus as instructors in the Pilates and fitness world vary greatly in how they work and organise bookings. You can also decide class compatibilities to avoid students taking up places in unsuitable classes, which avoids an important pitfall. Another huge plus is the independence given to students in swapping their own classes, and taking up available spaces. Class Swap allows unfilled places to only go online the week before, giving the instructor a chance to fill the place. If a place is cancelled by another student, students may opt to receive swap alerts, which conveniently notify them that a place is available in a particular class they are interested in. Cons The product is continually improved and developed so I felt the features were continually up to date. From affordability, ease of set up, ease of use, client satisfaction, reducing admin time, great customer service and support - class swap is covering it all. Pros With some support I found it quite stress free to set up and was impressed how customisable it is, from being able to use your logo, blending in with company colours, to being able to control class level swaps. I think it's great that there are 2 different packages to fit into whether you are a lone teacher or a studio with multiple teachers and more complex needs. I'm using the 'essential package' as I work alone and this is perfect and an affordable option for me. Even the clients that were concerned about not understanding how to use the system, have been able to use it successfully and with ease without my support. I have received some very positive feedback on how easy they are finding it to use, and that it is convenient for them to make their own swaps rather than having to contact me. It has already saved me so much admin time, so I can spend more time on lesson planning and enjoy more free time in the afternoons and evenings. Cons There is really very little to list here. The only thing I have found so far is that I still need to use a paper register as well. I work from village halls in a rural area so I cannot access the internet to use the register on the software until I get home (not Class Swap's fault). If I could access the register on the software whilst at the halls I'm still not sure if I could do without the paper register as I log my lesson plan numbers on it under each date for each class, so that I can refer back to the lesson plans for specific dates should I need to. This is a very minor thing though! Reasons for choosing ClassSwap ClassSwap was recommended through other teachers and was an affordable option for me. It is so convenient to be able to change your session booking. As a busy mum whose children's plans change hour by hour it is a huge bonus to have the flexibility I need when trying to fit in my own activity too! Pros It has much improved my ability to juggle a busy work life and ensure I can always swap my Pilates class to a suitable time. A brilliant and simple application! Cons I sometimes find the 24 hour restriction on swaps catches me out but this may not be the application. This was the first time I've ever come across such software, and ClassSwap is really easy to use. Pros It's easy to post a class I need to swap and easy to take up another class whenever I want to. It allows me to match my classes with my busy diary. Cons I struggle to think of anything negative to say. It's really useful and simple to use. Once I've posted I can see what available classes I can do instead. It has made me keep up instead of just missing classes. Pros It is so easy to use and so I make sure I post classes I can't make every time.
