Been using Fluency for more than 10 years now. Generally, it has been a smooth ride and our team loves the experience.

Pros

Fluency has evolved tremendously over the years. It is an extremely stable piece of software (never crashes or closes unexpectedly, unlike Trados). It has a full complement of features and the development team keeps adding little features that make it an amazing solution. Their technical support is world-class and responsive when a fix or an improvement is needed.

Cons

Overall, the issues are minor and bugs get smoothed out quite fast.

I´ve been using Fluency Now for more than 8 years. I learned to use it quite fast, it is easy to use and also very versatile and improves translation efficiency.

Pros

easy to use, rettains formatting, works with non editable words.

Cons

It´s a comprehensive system; spelling should be improved, it´s essential for translators.

Pros

The product is easy to use, helps you saving time and effort, keep you on track with your due dates

Cons

I really haven't had too much time to know deeply all the features, but the ones I know are enough to me. Maybe I would like to be trained in the full use of the program

As Fluency is very fast to work, I am often able to finish the job and deliver it well ahead of schedule, meeting the contractor's needs.

Pros

When I started work professionally as a translator, eight years ago, I had no idea that could exist translation programs. because before translations were done in the old fashion way. So, I decided to start looking for a good and sheep CAT and discovered Fluency. It is very easy and simple to use and its price was the lowest I could find. You do not need to read lots of pages and make any courses to learn how to work with Fluency. You start work with it and after one week it looks like if you had been working with it for several years before.

Cons

Fluency has, by my point of view, only one problem: It is not possible to load it with more than 10 or 12.000 words, because this will make it work very slow and sometimes it crashes or does not work the ideal way. Almost all of the time I have a big translation job to do with it, I need to split the file into 3 or 4 parts, doing one part of the time, and after mounting again the document.
