Pros: The software does exaclty what it supposed to do. It is an efficient implementation (80%) of the original device performance, it opens an universe of applications that otherwise would be impossible to run in these ARM devices.

Cons: I've used it with Raspberry Pi 2 which has a very limited computing power, making it only partially useful for real life purposes (even Raspbian for native applications is slow). In many cases I needed to return to native applications designed for ARM.

Overall: The ability to run a plethora of software that otherwise would have limited the usability of the ARM based OS.
