Pros: I like that it is a very good software for designing scenarios, characters or objects. Allow zero design with lots of powerful tools to create geometric figures. It also has an assortment of effects for the surfaces that can be customized, for example the same texture can be dwarfed or widened by pretending to be different objects. Also allows the recording of tours in the case of wanting to recreate a stage indicating the points where the camar must pass. Finally comment that you can render both images and scene recordings, that if, for a one minute animation rendering can take quite a while. Finally add that the program is freely available for both Linux and Windows.

Cons: Image based Animation becomes difficult to perform, For me personally i tried to get an image hand created and perform animation but it kept getting difficult to animate the image. Blender can provide some sample projects along with where in user can use that project modify the same to get better understanding and clarity so that going forward it can be a learning as well as hands on experience to attract.

Overall: I use blender for 3d design creation.

Pros: You can make all your model designs come to life, possibilities of this software are endless. Designs can be used in most game development software.

Cons: Takes quite long to get used to the software and requires hours and hours of videos just to get the basics down, but it is all a learning process.

Pros: Blender is great for creating 3D models for absolutely any instance and is awesome for people wanting to start 3D modeling and even for professionals that are working in the field already. It is easily accessible and is easy to install.

Cons: Blender does take some time to learn in terms of navigation of the software and learning how to use its features and become fluent and efficient with creating great 3D models

Overall: Blender is great for users who would like to learn how to create and refine 3D models to get into the industry as a professional. It has loads of features and the design of Blender is all round brilliant.

Pros: Once I got the basics down, I was able to make solid models with no experience.
It's free, hard to complain about that!
Is a complete suite, from modeling to rigging.
Good for independent game development.

Cons: Some features feel a little basic, though they're all there.
The learning curve is pretty steep.
Proprietary knowledge is unlikely to help advance a career.
Can be slow.

Pros: This program is great for beginners. Easy to get the hang out and there is a lot of material to help you get started.

Cons: There isn't too much I can find wrong with the software on a beginner level. Outside of starting off with the program I would say it lacks in some features or depth.

Overall: Great place to start 3D modeling.

Great for beginners and pros alike, and best of all free!

Pros: As a free software, Blender makes a great starting point for people looking to learn 3D modelling. It also has enough features that you can get away with just using Blender.

Cons: Same learning curve as other 3D software, made more difficult when switching from another program. Also has a bit of a jack of all trades thing going where several of the features are there but you're better off using a different program.

Pros: Blender is a free open sourced software available for everyone to use. Since it's free it's certainly worth a look to try to use to start out with 3-D modeling. Well, it isn't the most advanced software does offer many features that are offered in more advanced software.

Cons: Although the software is free you can be a little bit daunting to look at the interface of the software.

Pros: It offers a huge variety of tools, in a easy and clean interface, and it's able to compete with software that cost a lot more than Blender (which is free, being an Open Source project). It might not be as complete as Maya or 3D Studio Max, but it can achieve astonishing results as well!

Cons: As I said above, it might not be as complete as other CG software are, so you might feel like you need an upgrade to more powerful (and expensive) products if you need to reach high levels.

Pros: Blender's greatest strength is that it is free. It's features that are available are quite good considering this.

Cons: No serious 3d production house uses Blender. None. So what you learn in Blender will only ever partially translate over to production quality software like Maya, which is what the majority of houses use.

A bit technical to use but gets the job done.

Pros: Firstly, blender is a free tool. It runs on multiple platforms. It has a lot of features considering it is a free tool. Very fast poly modeling tools once you grasp the way of work.

Cons: Slow viewport performance with high-poly scenes. Blender's 'undo stack' is unpredictable, and not really a stack.

Overall: Has lots of features for a free tool.

Pros: Never in my life would I have imagined a piece of of software as powerful as Blender being offered for free. Given the breadth of its tool set, it's almost comedic that others in the beginner/intermediate stages of their education (or career) would even consider using a different 3D package.

From modeling, to rigging, to animation, to rendering (and much more), Blender is a one stop shop for nearly all of your 3D art/game development/visual effects needs.

Cons: After years of using other 3D packages, I can tell a slight difference in the user friendliness of certain tools, but this feedback pales in comparison to what is being offered and the accessibility of learning resources for their tools.

Pros: Blender is a great software solution that can be used for 3D modelling and animation in game development. It as a great video editing feature which I found myself using a lot. one of the bonus is that the solution is free and open source, and files can be exported to a variety of formats.

Cons: Hardly anything to complain about with Blender. One thing I can say, if your workstation specs are not up to standard, you may experience lagging using this software. Another thing of note I have heard others say, if you are engineering-inclined, the learning curve might be quite steep.

Overall: Editing videos and creating great 3D graphics.

Pros: It is FREE!! For persons new to 3D modelling it is really the most accessible tool to use and learn.
In addition to that, it has so many powerful features: object creation, refinement, manipulation, rendering and animation.

Cons: As a beginner to object modelling, Blender has a very steep learning curve. It took me some time to navigate through the software and to learn it. However, there were tutorials that helped me to overcome this barrier.

Overall: Blender is free, so the financial benefit from using this software was that I learned 3D modeling without paying any money for a commercial tool.

Blender has been a great resource for me to further my interests in graphic design.

Pros: It is a free program which allows you to have access to countless features. Essentially any kind of tool for graphic design and video editing type work can be done in Blender. It's an all around helpful program that doesn't charge for use.

Cons: It is not the most user friendly. It took many tutorial videos for me to get a hang of the interface.

Pros: I love the 3D rendering and how real the animations look. Plus this is free software so there is no better value for your money.

Cons: It works pretty well for novice users but I feel you really need to play around with it for a little before you really get the swing of things.

Overall: I really love that this software is fairly advanced and you can do so much with it. I like the fact that the 3D rendering and animation is so very realistic. I would recommend everyone use it and play around with it.

Pros: It's very easy to use for beginners and also pretty powerful for professionals. I use blender almost every day and will continue to use it although I have other professional 3d modelling software. Also you can't be it being completely free.

Cons: Customer support can sometimes be a bit difficult to get to or hear from. Some aspects are not as developed or as easy as other software.

Overall: I use it every day both professionally and personally, it has a great and easy learning curve and is pretty powerful.
