Pros: The Blender In the present society and in this present day and age, an ever increasing number of people are veering towards an intense change in their ways of life, electing to go sound rather than enjoy some time ago prevalent shoddy nourishment, cigarettes and liquor kinds of way of life. Along these lines, there has been an undeniably intense interest for items and gadgets that can effectively advance such restorative ways of life.

When one thinks about the expression "sound way of life", something he will undoubtedly consider is organic product shakes and smoothies. In pretty much any shopping centre or foundation financially accessible out there, one will undoubtedly run over a smoothie or organic product shake stand, slow down or shop that offers new beverages which have a high nutrient and mineral substance. So as to think of these invigorating beverages, be that as it may, it is significant to have the ideal devices.

One of the apparatuses most basic in preparing the ideal natural product shake and blender for a solid way of life is obviously the correct blender. At present day, a standout amongst the most exceedingly looked for after and most sought after blenders are the blender.

IF we would quickly go over a survey, it would not be hard to comprehend why the celebrated blender is viewed as the highest point of the line blender among blender clients the whole way across the world. Each blender has numerous highlights that permit the client tremendous favour

Cons: Survey locales that this specific blender has a shorter yet more extensive compartment that can fit all the more effectively away areas, for example, cupboards and cabinets. This enables clients to stock the real gadget pretty much anyplace they may please without agonizing over the space that will be involved. Usefulness insightful, the Blendtec blender utilizes three strength engines, making this blender run more grounded and more intensely than most other purchaser blenders out there.

Blendtec blender audits obviously call attention to that the blender can undoubtedly crush, whip, blend or mix essentially any and each fixing out there. Regardless of whether it is dry merchandise like nuts, raisins, prunes or wet items like fluid squeezes and milk, the blender demonstrates a general preferred standpoint to over basically any blender. Indeed, even entire organic products can be effectively mixed by this gadget.

Overall: The cutting edge screen and absence of dials and catches is something that will look incredible in pretty much any new or old kitchen. This is an incredible preferred standpoint of the blender over different blenders in the market since stylish designs are satisfied considerably more in such a manner.

Pros: Blender is an absolute Swiss Army knife for 3D modeling, animation, painting and video compositing/editing. It is free, and open source. After experience with Maya and 3DS -- which we admittedly liked very much -- we have moved to Blender exclusively because of its awesome selection of tools and add-ons. We use it for creating animations, 2D art, sculptures and 3D printed items.

Cons: About my 3-stars rating for ease of use: None of the 3D modeling and animation applications are easy to use if you do not have a background in those disciplines. I consider Blender to be 5-star ease of use... but on your first day with it, you will be confused.

Fortunately, there are lots of tutorial videos on Youtube, and from Blender. Blender has a relatively regular update cycle, so you will always want to look for tutorials based on the version you are using.

Overall: Our initial interest with Blender was sparked by its price: free. Autodesk's fee structures are not too bad if you are a power user, but the cost of having software seats for employees while they are learning is really a pain... so we started exploring Blender.

Pretty quickly we discovered that it offers what we needed from the Autodesk products and more. We have come to appreciate the drag-and-drop compatibility with the Unity game engine, and we use it extensively for 3D printing. I think it makes for an easier and quicker ROI to get employees started with Blender -- mostly to see which of them are able and interested in attacking the learning curve. The fact that Blender is free is no longer the primary attraction to us, but it certainly allows us to work with new employees and with contractors around the world who appreciate the same attributes.

Pros: Blender is used by professionals around the world. Because it is open source and has such wide usage and effort behind its development, it is very unlikely that Blender will ever fade away. Using Blender for your projects ensures long-term access to your files and you'll accumulate skills that will be useful well into the future.

I used Blender only for video editing so I cannot comment on its other features.

Strong video editing capabilities - it is relatively easy to import footage and to make basic cuts, move footage, and add basic fades and transitions.

To simplify the import of video clips, install the Kinoraw Tools addon.

It offers a good way to import media clips through the file browser. The Kinoraw tool will allow you to import all files in the browser, or

This plugin adds features that allow the user to select large numbers of small clips and snap the selection to a designated clip. It also allows selection by type of clip so its easy to grab all of the sound clips to export to an audio editor. The plugin also includes an "inverse" selector to select everything except the currently selected clip. The Kinoraw tool also includes a convenient fade-in fade-out tool accessible in the Strip menu option

Cons: After reading and watching many tutorials on using Blender for video editing, I hoped to rely on Blender exclusively for video creation.

While Blender indeed offers powerful video editing features, the average person will not find it easy to use.

Blender cannot automatically detect resolution and frame rates so if you have video from different cameras and wish to edit these different resolutions files in the timeline in Blender, you will encounter numerous problems. Software should be able to detect these various settings automatically and make necessary adjustments or at the very least, warn the user that the clips are incompatible and guide the user through various fixes.

There were too many other problems with trying to edit a 2 hour film and I eventually gave up and moved to the open-source video editor Kdenlive.

Regardless of my experience, many users in fact rely on Blender for video editing and enjoy the process. Maybe you will find it to be the best tool for you.

Overall: Overall, Blender is a very powerful tool, that can be used for video editing. However, because it is designed to be a 3-D graphics tool which also has video capabilities, it is not the easiest tool to use. I continue to remain intrigued by Blender and in a year or two will revisit it's video editing workflow.

It is my Go-To software to do any complex graphics and animation work.

Pros: I've used Blender for over 8 years now, and it has rarely failed me. Being the jack of all trades, it not only possesses quick modelling and animation tools, but it also has a powerful shader system as well as the ability to sculpt. It can even be enhanced to limitless degrees with add-ons, and recently there has even been the Armory3D Engine that can help create games with it. I also rarely find myself having to rely on any external video editor because Blender's internal VSE often gets the job done for me, even though it can take some time to know one's way around it. Plus, I'm in love with Blender's modular interface, allowing me to customize it depending on my situations as I see fit.

Cons: Sadly, despite the modularity of the interface, it can feel a bit cluttered and confusing to get around at times (an issue which will likely be fixed by the time version 2.8 comes around), and due to its unconventional way of handling things, it can be a little harder to learn. Also, because it's a jack of all trades, one may expect it to be a master of none, which can be plain to see while sculpting, being not as powerful as ZBrush nor as stable when handling heavy meshes. Its compositing, too, while a welcome addition to quickly customize one's render, can feel very unintuitive at times. There's also very limited and imprecise means to control image sequences as texture option which often bothers me, but the fact that it even has that feature to begin with is something I that makes me turn a blind eye to this last point.

Overall: This is one of the core softwares that I use, being cost effective (that is, "Free") as well as powerful in a single package! Not only do I save a lot of money by sticking to this I also make significantly more without having to rely or specialized software just to get the job done. My workflow has also improved, and I'm able to quickly create prototypes, edits and complete works of art with a single tool.

Pros: I love talking about blender, without a doubt it is one of the programs I love the most and the ones I work with the most since I dedicate myself to 3D design, one of the most incredible things about this program is that it is free software, it is free, It was difficult to start using it since there are millions of explanatory tutorials, it has a super friendly platform and it allows me to reach the desired results, from the beginning that I have started to use and until now it has evolved with me, I can import and export objects, work by nodes and export in video and image formats, also synchronizes with several of the programs I use and that is fascinating, any computer runs it normally depends on the complexity of the final product, I can sculpt and create different physics and I have engines of incredible rendering in my case the one that I use the most is cycle.

Cons:

Blender is a lovely program, however it could account for some things that could be improved: one of them is that blender at first scares, although its platform is friendly, it can seem very complicated when you enter it, since you get lost with many options in the workspace, sometimes it does not work well with the polygons of more than 4 sides, which makes the modeling experience a little limiting and if it depends on the complexity of your modeling, your PC can support it when creating a very complex modeling or not.

Overall:

Blender changed my perception of the 3d modeling programs that at first seemed cumbersome to me I never thought I could use it, and I still use it today for art and visual designs. So for me it is 100% recommended.

Pros: This software allows modeling in 3D images and sculpting them thanks to the fact that it has many easy-to-use tools and functions; it also allows making animations and videos. It has a modular interface and in reality it is not very complicated to learn how to use the tools, it only takes a small tutorial to get familiar and take the first steps if you are a beginner. It also allows infinite possibilities when it comes to modeling people, characters, etc. Thanks to the wide variety of tools and functions that it has and best of all, it is an open source application and therefore you will have many more benefits compared to similar programs.

Cons: Although Blender is a free software has not presented many problems in the years that I have been using it, there are only a few things that can improve for example the interface is not as refined as some payment programs, it is also advisable to use it on computers that have enough memory available since otherwise the process of use may be slow or some functions may fail. Actually it works very well compared to other free software.

Overall: For two years I have been using this program to make 3D animation. It works perfectly and it requires a lot of knowledge and practice to get the most out of the functionalities that this software offers. I love the community and it is interesting to exchange ideas and help other members to solve problems and doubts they may have regarding the program. I have started in the world of 3D animation with this software and I have learned a lot on my own.

Pros: The thing I like most if the ease of use after fully understanding what everything does. It looks intimidating and complicated if you're a new user of blender, but after looking at a few tutorials of what you want to do in it, whether it be animation, character modeling, prop modeling, whatever it may be, it becomes easier to do and to understand. You do have to learn a little bit on your own, but as far as I have been using it, since 2015, I haven't ran into anything I can't do without a little bit of googling.

Cons: The thing I liked least about this software when starting out was, as I said in the pros, it is intimidating to look at when being a new user of the software. It stressed me out when I didn't know where to begin, however, this was easy to get over with some googling and a little bit of tutorials that didn't cost me a lot of time, for a big payout after I learned the software.

Overall: This is the 3D modeling program I use. I use it with a texturing software and a rendering software and sell my 3D models I make with it. It has helped me grow my business of making 3D props for game developers.

Pros: For a powerful software, Blender is Free to Download and Free to Use, which is amazing and surprising compare to other softwares.

In past two years, I have learn to use Blender for 3D rendering, videos editing & creation.

The software has a great user interface, with a lot of exciting features, Blender stand out among others. Lot of free video tutorials to help users to learn the features or work on a specific 3D rendering.

I'm presently learning to create Video Game Animations and Blender is a great tool, even though this isn't an easy task, but the software is very helpful and tutorials are right there to help.

Cons: For a powerful software to work perfectly, you'll need a powerful hardware to handle it. I started using Blender in 2014 with a low end PC, it was frustrating, the PC gets heated up quickly especially when rendering. After changing to a high end PC, I'm able to use Blender comfortably without worrying about overheating.

For a beginner, this isn't a very friendly software to use. I learnt most of the basic features using video tutorials and googling. The features are great but can be very confusing unless you are already familiar with them.

Overall: Blender is a great software to be candid, this makes it a very powerful software to you. With my 2 years experience, I can say it's worth trying out and I will definitely recommend it for anyone into 3D animation or Video editing as a profession, while I keep using it as well.

With the software, you'll be tempted to learn new renderings and update your skills.

Pros: Blender is a glimpse of what creative people can do when they really care and work together. This software is free, which is amazing considering the incredible power it unleashes for the user. That is, by far, the greatest positive aspect of Blender. Using it involves no risk, no cost, and minimal commitment (no need to register a license).

Yet, despite being free, Blender is incredible. Blender is nearly as capable as any competing products, yet receives so many updates, and so frequently, that the race for feature parity moves along at a break neck speed. So, even if it is not as polished as Autodesk or Maxon software, it's always getting better.

It also cannot be understated how valuable the user community is. Any new feature, change, or patch that is issued has tons of forum posts, video tutorials, and feedback. If a new user has a question about anything, it is almost guaranteed that someone else has asked the same thing and made a guide.

In short, Blender is free, powerful, and has an awesome community.

Cons: The learning curve for Blender is pretty high, especially for those new to 3d modeling and animation. Because Blender is open source, it is not as slick or smooth as competing products, but that's only a problem if you have used other software.

It can also be difficult to achieve completely stable/balanced performance out of Blender without a pretty powerful computer. That said, this just comes with the territory. 3D animation is computationally taxing.

It's difficult to complain about free software that already does so much.

Pros: Blender is very versatile software, that can be used for animation, video editing/filmmaking, videogames development and 3D modeling in general. It is capable of something soft and cute as Toy Story, but also able to do something sleek as a CGI realistic Hollywood scene such as the ones seen in Deadpool.

Is as poweful as the competing alternatives and completely open source, does not require a high-spec machine to work with proper stability (Although this might vary depending on the size of the files you are working with).

There are many free resources available such as tutorials, pre-made models and plugins that enhance the learning experience.

Even though it is full of complexities, the user interface is very user-friendly.

Cons: Even though Blender is able to achieve industry standards results, these outcomes require an extra effort compared to other alternatives, other applications are able to accomplish smoothness in an almost automated way thanks to some filtering tools that Blender lacks, this has highly improved in the latest versions, but is still not as efficient as I would like.

Blender's Community is amazing, but they lack a proper Customer Support alternative that some competing products might have. (This is a very common issue with Open Source softwares).

Overall: With Blender I explored the world of 3D animation that I always wanted to. You do not need to be an expert to get a grasp on it, there is plenty material online to learn the basics and improve from there. I have already tried other applications and I can tell that Blender is a great option to start in this field.

Pros: Blender is HEAVILY customizable with python script and plugins, the application is free to download and use which firstly is a plus in itself but it also means there are Plenty of tutorials and examples of peoples creativity online. With Blender 2.80 Eevee currently being actively developed the software is just getting better and better with real-time rendering so you can see your changes live.

Cons: Being so heavily customizable and being able to run so many different scripts it may be challenging to troubleshoot any conflicts

Overall: I was first introduced to blender in college much to my dismay after having spent so much time on a different software but quickly learned to love the program and its versatility, and now 6 years later I'm still using it in my career as an animator, I would definitely suggest the program to anyone interested in animation, modelling, special effects or even just motion tracking on video.

Pros: I used Blender (and still do) while I was attending University, where I studied a double Bachelor's in Cinema Production and Animation. I was curious about Blender one day and downloaded it onto my desktop, and have never regretted it since. Blender has a fantastic interface, and it was incredible being able to see my animations come to life and being able to quickly download them onto my PC. Blender is one of the "easier" animation platforms, as it was easier for me to learn how to navigate Blender, but it most certainly does not lack any of the necessary tools that it takes to create realistic animations.

Cons: The only con I have is more so advice to potential users; Blender is a high-tech animation software, and by this I mean you will need a faster computer in order to get the absolute most out of Blender--only because it will take quite the bit for your finished animation to download completely so you can view it in action. Other than this piece of advice, Blender is an amazing platform for animators and those who are interested in getting their foot into the world of animation.

Overall: Overall, Blender has been fantastic, and I will continue to use Blender over any other animation software.

Can be better, but this is a free product anyways.

Pros: Blender provides me with all the features I expect to see in a commercial 3D modeling program, and the best part is that I get to use Blender for free.

I like that while using Blender,I am able to navigate its weak points by relying on third party extensions.I like that Blender is based on hotkeys ,and while this may be difficult to memorize at first ; it becomes very useful on the long run for performing complex operations faster.

I like the ability Blender provides me to manage multiple windows at the same time. This has served me well whenever I have needed to project a 2D to a 3D model surface for texture mapping purposes.

Cons: Blender is overly reliant on Hotkeys ,as accomplishing any action with the use of my mouse takes several clicks for every action and this easily becomes a problem ,when I need to execute operations like "subdivide" for which there are no hotkeys.

Overall: I use Blender for creating 3D assets and polygonal models for video game projects.

Pros: Modular, customizable interface: you can transform your project's interface in all kinds of ways, by creating and swapping workspaces on the go. The shortcut system is great, allowing to remove useless menus and do everything through a keyboard. The Material editor is simply amazing, giving you a lot of control. Modifiers allow to preview all effects without actually applying them, making things easier and easier. The program is also completely free and regularly updated. The rendering process is pretty straightforward, while leaving room for more experienced users to experiment even more.

Cons: The entire shortcut system, although great, might be disorienting for most inexperienced users.

Sculpting a model and trying to keep it as low-poly as possible might prove harder than in other tools, due to how the program reacts to user inputs.

Overall: I have been using Blender as my first 3D modeling/rendering software, which initially caused me some trouble. After a while, I learned how easy and practical the entire shortcut system is: fast, reliable, and accurate. I used the tool just to practice and create very basic stuff, and the sheer amount of possibilities amazed me. I switched over to different software, but I still think at Blender as the best possible choice, being it both free and extremely advanced.

Pros: Blender is the ultimate software for 3D modeling, and I cannot recommend a stronger program if you need to create 3D objects in high detail. I personally used Blender to help take my 3D printing hobby to the next level. Earlier, I had made easy designs with software such as TinkerCAD. Blender has almost completely replaced those programs for me. Although there is a high learning curve, I was able to sculpt a human head in Blender and 3D print it. To this day, it is the coolest thing I have ever 3D printed. There is almost no downside to using Blender as it is a free software, and has many online guides and tutorials. In addition to using Blender to create complex 3D objects, I have also made short animations with Blender. Even then, it often seems that I have barely scratched the surface of all the features that come with Blender, such as the ability to create video games in the program. I am beyond impressed by the quality of Blender, and I doubt that a more potent free software in terms of creating things has ever been made.

Cons: Blender has a very high learning curve, and I find myself still looking up basic things even after months of regular use. I would not recommend Blender for simple tasks. I would also caution Mac users, as being able to use the num pad is very important. It is also very time consuming to create almost anything with Blender. The 3D printed human head that I mentioned earlier took over 12 hours to complete. That being said, for those looking for a powerful program, Blender is like no other.

Pros: Blender is amazing. Its so well designed and has a lot of features and versatility. It literally can do everything and is super amazing to learn 3D on. Its easy to use and helps break down 3D animation into separate parts to make learning easy and fun.

Cons: It has TOO much freedom. Blender can do anything and is open source, which means every month there is a spew of new features you will never use and not care about. Its a multitool, I think it succeeds best in its animation, being up there with even Maya in terms of usability, but it just falls short on all its other features.

Overall: I used Blender to teach students animation and it was honestly the best experience. Its so easy to learn that students from the age as early as 7 were able to learn and thrive.

Pros: The absolute best part of Blender is that it is 100 % free, and that it is so well supported throughout the 3D Community. It has always been so easy to find tutorials for specific things that I am trying to do. I like the fact that it is open source, which really means that the community has a say in how the software is developed and the features that are added. In addition to this, the massive library of add-ons makes Blender a powerful package that competes with the best paid packages.

Cons: Blender, when first getting to know it, is a really complicated interface to figure out for someone not from a graphical design and rendering background. It is difficult to teach yourself the software without going through quite a few online tutorials to figure the workflow out.

Overall: Blender made my life so much easier in using the package to create detailed 3D renderings and motion graphics for my company. I was able to do exactly what I had envisioned without having to pay for a design package that had all the features known to man, but then only using such a small part of it.

Pros: ery complete, contains the fundamental tools and commands to model in 3d without problems from simple forms to very complex forms, I have been satisfied with its tool panel and also has support from its developers when you present errors or problems, it is a software with a very active design community.

Cons: It lacks some important technical factors for modeling, to be precise it will take some time if the project you are developing is a mechanical piece or an object with well-defined curved dimensions and dimensions which will make the technical work take longer than expected .

Overall: A very well developed program, a software that improves continuously and with a community that participates in its development and improvements, very important to emphasize that it is free and that it is ideal to start in the world of 3d getting really surprising results since it is very complete.

Pros: Not only is it free, but it offers you the world for free -- It has great modelling tools, fantastic rigging tools, it can quickly sculpt things, an in-built compositor, and now it's even getting a 2D animation feature in the upcoming 2.8 release, which is fantastic because now I can utilize its complex IK rigging feature IN a 2D animation workflow! Not only that, but it's upcoming real-time EEVEE engine is also worth the wait.

Cons: It can actually be pretty difficult to get into at first, and a lot of tools and features missing -- however that's not much of a concern since all that is slowly being amended in the upcoming 2.8 release.

Pros: I had no experience in any sort of modeling or animation, but Blender felt welcoming from the get-go. I have now familiarized myself with it, and have gotten pretty good, so I'd say that is a testament to how good the program is. Also, it's free to try out, so why not give it a go if you're wondering if it's worth it?

Cons: Most of the cons I could pick at should be taken in reference to the free nature of Blender. As I've grown my knowledge of design, I've noticed a lot of UI issues and functionality. For example, a program like Maya has so many integrated parts to work on each little feature, that the Jack-of-all-trades Blender doesn't measure up to.

Pros: Blender can make your dreams come true. I find I use it for pretty much everything nowadays. It's 3D application is obvious and I use it for that often, but it also has so many other features that I can't stop using. I love the compositor which I use to edit film & images. It can even be used to draw and export vector artwork.

Cons: It does have quite a learning curve, it takes longer than most programs to get used to the unique interface that Blender uses (and invented). However, the complicated, and unique nature of the interface is required for the ease of use of the vast feature set that Blender has.

Pros: Blender is an all-in-one 3D modeling application that, in spite that it is freeware, does everything and anything anyone needs to make from basic geometric shapes to intricate Hollywood style special effects. This software can do far more than what I know what to do with it.

Though it is free and open source, it has an extremely large support infrastructure.

I've used Blender to make photorealistic 3D models of our retail packaging for our clients.

I find this to be more visually effective than just a plain photoshopped render. With a 3D model you can show the customer any angle they want top see their product from.

Cons: The one downside, is that it has so many features that I have yet to learn them all. Which in all fairness is no fault of the application.

Overall: The fact that if one was going to buy off the shelf software to do the same things one can do with this one application, one would have to buy a multitude if different applications, all of which run anywhere.

Pros: I am a game developer and of-course it's necessary for me every time to design a good 3d model in less time means as quickly as possible, In this case Blender is the life-line for me to design basic 3D models and it also helps in editing a 3D model.

As a game developer , I know that it's really very difficult to design every single piece of 3D models to be used in Games, so I daily render some of the 3D models by my own and then for other models, I just download or get them the other models from any non-copyrighted source or royalty free source and simply import them to Blender and then edit them as how I want it to be. This process reduces the time consumption for basic models to some high quality models of upto a particular level. Blender is fully featured and requires very less skills and practice , so I highly recommend it to newbies and to experienced people too for designing a basic looking 3D model.

Unlike other 3D models, Blender provides almost every basic and necessary feature in a very simple and easy to use interface. The storage and the memory required to use Blender is really very low unlike other softwares.

Cons: With Blender, one can easily design 3D models but only upto a certain level means if we want to design a high and massive 3D model, then Blender will definitely can not give its best results. Blender provides basic features which are sometimes not useful in designing a high quality model. So, to design a high quality 3D model, I would not recommend Blender instead I would recommend to go with other 3D modeling softwares.

Pros: Blender gives independent or hobbyist animators the ability to achieve what huge studios pay thousands to pull off. It's evolved into a real competitor for some of the more commercial software out there. I've yet to find anything the other guys can do that Blender can't.

Cons: All 3D modelling software has a fairly steep learning curve and Blender is no different. The software really can be faulted for that though. It's the nature of 3D modelling/animation on a 2D surface. Can't really get around complexity there.

Overall: I've dabbled in animation and game design since I was a kid. When I first learned of Blender, it was too limited compared to the alternatives for me to even bother with. I love how quickly it's completely changed it's standing in the 3D software community. Now, I use this for designing the occasional graphic for a website or animation for a promotional video.

My most recent use was to model a replacement part for my dishwasher to be 3D printed! It turned out perfectly and saved me a great deal of money. I never even look at the competing software anymore. Blender is where it's at.

Pros: I have used Blender to edit and create basic 3d models for 3d printing and have had a great experience using it. It is easy to use and anything I don't know how to do is easy to learn with a simple search.

Blender is incredibly powerful and can be used for many different projects, such as polygon editing, 3d sculpting, rigging, 3d animation, video VFX, and even an integrated game engine. Because of how popular Blender is, there is an incredible amount of helpful users, tutorials, and plugins that will make learning blender even easier.

Cons: The learning curve of blender can be daunting for some, especially with how many different functions the program has compared to more specialized offerings. Other offerings, both free and commercial, have more specialized tools that expedite certain workflows. while

Due to being open-source, there is no direct traditional support system you would get from a commercially supported and developed program. Other programs like Maya and 3ds Max also see more professional use, making learning Blender less practical if you are in the industry.

Pros: If you want to make something, you can probably make it with Blender. 3d models, 2d scenes & characters, films, photos -- you name it, you can make it. Think Cinema4d or Autodesk and Adobe mashed into one, but free. If someone is starting out in the video game or film industry and asking about programs to try out. I always tell them to try Blender.

Cons: SO feature packed, it can be very hard to use. There are certain hotkeys that won't make sense, until you understand the constrictions that must be inherent within an app that is able to do so much. Animating 3d can be essentially time-consuming and frustrating top new users. A few classes or videos on this can remedy this situation -- I believe the creators of Blender provide these for users as well.

Overall: Amazing. Blender was the first thing I ever create 3d models in -- it was the only thing I could use, since it was free I was broke! I have since moved onto more specialized softwares, like Zbrush and Mudbox... But Blender will always have a place on my hard drive.

Pros: First of all, it must be noted that Blender is a *free* and open-source 3D editing software. This makes it a must-have for anyone trying to create, edit, animate and / or render 3D models and scenes.

Each of the major components (modelling, animation, rendering) is full of basic and advanced features. Despite the software's complexity, its user interface does a great job at integrating its different aspects.

The built-in physically-based renderer (Cycles) comes with a powerful graph-based material model editor, which allows tweaking each object's appearance in great detail.

Scripting support in Python for all main features is a great bonus for power users.

Finally, the large community and swath of free online learning resources make it possible to approach this complex software, even as a total beginner.

Cons: The user interface, while very clean in appearance, is not very easy to grasp. Likewise, proficiency in this software requires mastering many keyboard shortcuts and modes. This drawback is alleviated by the quality of online tutorials available for free.

I believe Blender also includes a game engine, although it is likely best to rely on Blender for 3D authoring, and then export assets to specialized software such as Unity.

Pros: Ever since I started using blender, modelling could not be easier. It is really friendly and features almost everything that a 3D modeller would need in his work. It has advanced shader functionality, nodes for manipulating almost every aspect of the rendering process, it is lightning fast when it has to render huge scenes with hundreds of ojbects. In many instances Blender does the work way better than other paid industry-standard rendering softwares. It is also free and anyone can download it and use it. If you are an aspiring 3D designer, then I recommend you start off with Blender and explore all of its awesome features and functionalities.

Cons: There aren't a lot of cons really. I have been using the software for almost 3 years now and apart from the occasional crash or the at times really obscure menus, Blender is an awesome program and they are constantly improving.

Pros: Blender first and foremost is an incredible free and open source software which at its heart is a 3D modelling application but can also do more than that. As a programmer, I am naturally inept at anything art related. However, Blender has enabled me to create placeholder assets for my creations to help me prototype and visualise my ideas.

Cons: In my opinion, the only con would be the that the UI is one of the harder ones to learn in this kind of software. However, this has been streamlined in the current beta version. (2.80 I believe)

Pros: The 3d animation and modeling capabilities are really efficient, the number of options and tools offered in editing work superbly and they are displayed on the work interface in a timely manner, the results are impeccable and of a very valid and correct professional level, I like that it is a light software and easy to download and install, the help and support service is very well implemented.

Cons: The learning time is very long, it really is a difficult software to manage and learn, its rendering capabilities and realism will be limited if you do not have a team with great graphics and high performance, it is an exclusively professional software.

Overall: His sculpture modeling and special effects generation are very efficient, if you are looking for a high level of performance software with a professional result you will surely be satisfied with the implementation of Blender, you must add a more powerful rendering engine to improve the graphics.

Pros: Its an open source so we get most of the feature free or fully equipped as compared to other software like maya we spend money for those features and its improving constantly like new version comes with better handling. We can do 95% work on its 3d view point. If we have laptop without num pad we can go on its input property after user preference then lick enable num pad which is used to rotate the viewpoint by number and also another feature if u not used mouse we can emulate 3 button mouse feature in input property.

Cons: When We click any where in viewpoint it will select the place which is not needed. The another thing is little bit silly in the left or right clicking of mouse button are sort of slipped when using on viewpoint so select by right is better option. Its also has not proper motion capture support. when we animate the large number of animation cartoon or something like more than 20 it has difficult for manage it. When we use its first time it look not easy to work on it.

Overall: It useful to making for a short animated film or video's for my work or personal use. It's most feature is free so when anyone want to learn animation recommend this application is better than another and its also have incredible feature for learning.

Pros: It is one of the best animation programs, for me among the first three and I love it because I can use it in any operating system, as well as when I'm rendering, it has options that clean up the noise giving me a higher quality animation and another the best options is the composition that lets me handle the shadows like a professional in a very simple way.

Cons: The program is great and they have incredible potential especially in their render engines depending on the end of the animation, and the program is extremely light for installation. The problem is that when the animation is very complex the render is delayed depending on the potential of the equipment that is being used.

Overall: my experience has been great for two things first in my work I have the ubuntu operating system, in my house I have windows and in the computer of my dad I have mac OS that sometimes lends me when I visited and in all the systems works excellent, second In the foundation where I was asked to learn to animate and they recommended the program I already had an experience with another animation program and with blender it was incredibly easy and super powerful.

Pros: Blender is a reliable and flexible tool that can be used free for everyone. This tool provides a mostly completed 3D modeling facilities when comparing to others. Blender is advanced software with advanced features. The GUIs are more attractive, and I love the color themes which they have used. For doing animations it provides timelines to make it live. This tool maintains a better quality of our designs and provides the ability to connect with Unity and make amazing creations especially for game developers. I recommend that Blender is a good software for students to learn 3D modeling from zero to advanced.

Cons: After modeling a heavy 3D design, it takes sometimes a few hours to render. Blender is requiring a higher computational power for rendering as well as for working. For the beginners, they need to follow many tutorials for getting a startup and it requires a lot of time to do that. Unless these issues, I love Blender and this tool is the place where I started 3D modeling.

Pros: Blender has amazing capabilities, and in some cases can do more than paid 3D softwares. Blender is your catch-all for modeling, simulation (fluid, smoke, dynamics, etc.), texturing, sculpting, and rendering. It even has a video editor and node based compositor. The best part about Blender is that it is completely free. In fact, it's open source. Anyone looking to get started in 3D animation, motion graphics, or VFX can easily download blender and get started.

Cons: Despite the incredible capabilities, Blender can be a bit tricky to get started with. The user interface isn't very intuitive and can be much more confusing to learn than other softwares. Fortunately, there are many resources online to learn Blender.

Overall: Blender is a cheap (in fact, free) way for beginners to get started in 3D animation. Although it is not an industry standard, it can help users to learn skills and techniques that apply to all 3D workflows.

Pros: The word "everyone" on the title goes here and also in cons, but in here is because is free, you have a powerful 3d modeling tool without spending tons on money on expensive software.

Another thing that is really good, is that the community is really big, so finding tutorials, help and courses for it is not a hard task to do.

Cons: The word "everyone" is written with quotation marks because actually is not really for everyone, it can be a hard tool compared to other premium software; so mastering it can be the real deal in here, if you surpass the threshold then you are on the other side, with the experts, but if not, then it can get super hard (and stressful).

Overall: As a game developer, 3d modeling is a daily thing,, so we use blender for creating models in a recurrent basis. One more thing is that the models are compatible directly with Unity (our main tool for work), so that is a win.

Pros: It is very light, just like the projects carried out in the software are very light files, it has an efficient amount of tools for the modeling of complex shapes and it allows you to use graphical drawing tablets which makes the work of 3d modeling more efficient, the tools for To realize the animations are very powerful and they are very well achieved to obtain results of a surprising quality.

Cons: It requires a lot of preparation time to be able to learn to model correctly, the timeline of animations has generated some confusion during the animation process, the built-in render engine is very basic, for that reason you should install another complementary one with higher quality of Realism if you are looking for professional results.

Overall: It is very important to design, especially complex forms that are always useful in the area of design, being a free software allows me to have it on several computers and it is also very useful to share information with developers to improve the product .

Pros: The price, of course, is the best part. You can do realistic, highly detailed work without spending a penny - something that is amazing considering the price of other professional software that's available for this sort of thing.

If you're dedicated, this is all you will need for a wide variety of projects.

Cons: The learning curve. Relative to other options - it's not terribly complicated by any means. But the fact is - any 3D modeling software with this type of flexibility is going to be very time consuming to learn, and unfortunately, Blender is absolutely no exception to that rule.

For example: when first learning Blender (and 3D modeling in general), I took several hours to look at various tutorials and practice a little bit. I successfully made a polygonal palm tree and a coconut with eyeballs. It was super simple looking (albeit aesthetically pleasing), but took many an hour. It took far less time to forget how I accomplished all of that when I took a hiatus from Blender.

Overall: - A free option for 3D modeling

- 3D animation capabilities

- Good practice for other software that I also use

- Good means of visualizing projects

Pros: In my opinion, Blender's most attractive feature is that it is FREE. For those (such as myself) who want to get started with 3D modeling/animation but don't have the cash or resources to spend thousands on something like Maya or Cinema 4D, Blender has pretty much all the features of those more expensive programs and, if you really put time into it, allows you to output some pretty amazing looking still and motion renders.

Cons: The interface is extremely overwhelming for a first-time user. This is pretty much the case with any 3D software, however it may be off-putting to someone who is unaware how to navigate all of the windows and toolbars. Again, this is pretty much standard with software in this category so take that with a grain of salt.

Overall: We use blender mainly for the VFX capabilities, like motion tracking video footage.

Pros: - Blender is one of the best tools i have ever discovered which comprises of both incredible render engine and 3-d modeling.Blender can be used for both modeling or using your premade 3-d models to simulate and animate in real time.I have been using blender for many purposes including animation and modeling for characters for my character designs or for using characters in my games. It is an all round tool for 3-d modeling and animation needs.THe icing on the cake is "It's a freeware" and so small in size that you dont need an expensive professional setup to fullfill your creative hunger.

Cons: It has very slow viewport rendering system and makes your work very tedious as you have to wait for realtime changes on your design. It mostly happens when the scene is high-poly scene. Also it has very intuitive layering system to work with.

Overall: Easy to use workflow and 3-d modeling with such simple interface makes time effective work.

Pros: The 3d modeling tools are very complete, you can achieve really surprising and professional results for renders, animation and special effects, it is free and also allows you to import models from other softwares which makes it really efficient to design, it has a great variety of tools and options to carry out very complete virtual projects.

Cons: The interface is not friendly at all, it will take you a long time to achieve the proper management of your commands, start modeling complex forms requires time, dedication, research and passion for optimal results, there are so many options and commands that it is difficult to understand all the possibilities existing in the software.

Overall: It is very useful to model furniture with really complex shapes, the result of animation and render with the right materials offer a very professional and realistic appearance to promote the generated designs.

Pros: I like the most that it has huge set of functionalities and features, and they are getting updated constantly, also what i like the most its that it has integration for exporting the models in a number of formats, because some of others apps that i used before for modelling they didn't.

Cons: I really don't like that i cant customise my workbench, i cant drag and drop where ever i want the tools i need, which is a thing that i most commonly use and utilise, other than that everything is spot on.

Pros: Blender has many tools that cover a wide range of needs.

3D modeling, 3D sculpting, 2D drawing and animation (after 2.8 with grease pencil), video editing and video composing.

It's very extensible with Python.

After version 2.8, it has PBR materials and a new and fantastic render that provides a decent preview of the final work in real time (Eevee).

All this and it's still completely free and open source!

Cons: The user interface can be intimidating for newcomers, although the revamp in 2.8 improved it by a lot.

Cycles, Blender's unbiased path-tracer, does not support the new RT Cores. Actually, as far as I know, it doesn't even support RTX GPUs yet.

However, I'm aware that this is just a matter of time.
