Once I learned where everything was at and how it worked, I was able to create a sculpture in minutes. We are transitioning to Blender as out primary sculpting software now Pros This is simply an amazing piece of software when you weigh it's features vs its price. From sculpting to animating, it does it all. The feature list is insane, not to mention the many add-ons you can get for it. It is unparalleled at this price point. And the price is free! The sculpting and modeling is fairly easy to use, and the workspace has ample tools. Cons It's not incredibly intuitive. I felt that I was able to conquer Fusion 360 with little help, but I've had to watch many tutorials to get my bearings in Blender. It's not to speak badly of the interface, because once you get to know it, it gets easier. But I'm breaking into it for the first time, and the learning curve is a little higher than other apps. Pros It is free and open-source. its small file size is something to really love. with a customizable UI that lets you take on the UI layout of other similar software which is great for those switching. Its development community is dedicated to its improvement and have really been adding more features and improvements over the years. Cons It doesn't have full development features in its release as compared to the likes of other industry standards so the use of add-ons and plugins becomes a must. I think Blender is a great tool for both the professional and the beginner. Cons There is a big learning curve in the beginning as the tools and features are difficult to understand but after playing around with everything and watching tutorials it's really a fantastic software. If tutorials were included in Blender it would be beneficial but there are many tutorials on YouTube. One of the biggest pros is that lots of add-ons for the software are constantly developed by different users and available for free on Github. Cons It is hard to make sense of the interface at first, you will most likely require a tutorial to start working with it. Mastering the program also requires a lot of time and dedication. Many times, even after ensuring my measurements were correct, the export file would not be the exact size as designed. Pros The best part of Blender is that it is open source and free and that it can do a lot. I've used it for animations, physics rendering and even simple product sculpting. It has a very robust set of tools and if you have the skill set, it can create some pretty stunning work. Cons The biggest con with Blender is that the user interface is very cumbersome and hard to understand. Many features are hidden or not where you expect them and that can become overwhelming. Cons I think that the interface is extremely daunting at first, there are buttons everywhere and it's overwhelming at first. I've had some issues with add-ons occasionally disappearing but that's a pretty small thing. Switched from [Zbrush](https://www.capterra.com/p/210456/Zbrush/) Blender, especially a while ago, had a much more straight-forward and easy to use interface than ZBrush.
