It is really helpful for designers. But it feels difficult if you are a new user. So you need to practice always. Pros Blender is an amazing software that helps to design animations. It has powerful 3D graphics and various tools for designers. I used Blender software in my 2nd-year University project. We can create superb animation through the Blender software. We can start from the beginning like shapes and end with an amazing output. It has lots of inbuilt tools that help to create your work. Also rendering speed and quality is much better than the other products. Cons It is not easy for beginners. You need at least basic knowledge of the workflow. The software is very good for 3D animations but you need to have more practices and knowledge of tools. There are lots of functionalities and it supports 3d assets as well. It has certainly made my work easier. Cons The UI could have been more simple as lots of options are present which sometimes makes it difficult if you are not familiar with the functionalities. I was able to create a couple of 3D box packaging for our products. Pros There are a lot of things to like about this software. First, the full version is totally free to use. You can use all features at no cost at all. Second is their desktop app is compatible for both PC and Mac OS, this is a huge plus for me because I own both. I can easily work and switch between the two OS environment without worrying about compatibility. Another thing I like is that it is user friendly for me. I just watched a couple of online video tutorials and I was able to create my first 3D render for a product we are selling on Amazon. I am very happy with the results, it looks quite realistic for me. Lastly, you can export your work to another 3D creation software. I have not personally tried this but it is a great feature if you want to work with another software with different features that you need. This software is so powerful and it is free! Thanks to Blender, I was able to design a 3D wooden block, and later I generated some scenes with these blocks, in different industrial environments. Once the video was created, I was able to get the frames of this video. Once this was done, I developed a code that examined these images of the video, and was able to identify the situation of the image in which the block of wood was, or even differentiate if it was not in the image. Pros In my opinion, Blender's most attractive feature is that it is FREE. For those (such as myself) who want to get started with 3D modeling/animation but don't have the cash or resources to spend thousands on something like Maya or Cinema 4D, Blender has pretty much all the features of those more expensive programs and, if you really put time into it, allows you to output some pretty amazing looking still and motion renders. Cons The interface is extremely overwhelming for a first-time user. This is pretty much the case with any 3D software, however it may be off-putting to someone who is unaware how to navigate all of the windows and toolbars. It improves the current workflow and allows you to do modeling, fluid simulation or even 3D modeling, it's a software full of functionality, blender is just excellent. Cons It can be confusing to start blender with its large number of fcntionality, one can easily get lost. It is not the most stable in its field and you can notice spitting problems or mesh bugs when visualizing 3D. Takes some time to learn but it's fun to play around with it. Pros I started blender with no knowledge of 3d modeling , but in 1 year i learned it and it was worth it.Blender is easy to use once you get hold of it. Also I think it is new user friendly like it's easy to learn basic features of this program. Cons The thing i don't like is that it is sometimes buggy, Like u spent a week in developing a model but when u render it the program crashes or some other bugs but these are rare like 2 in 10.
