Pros: We are a small family business and reliant (for many things) on our ability to manage the back end of our site. Neither of us have a background in building sites, managing integration, etc. but we have been able to get very comfortable with the back end of the site. For a novice or inexperienced person, I was surprised that I could pick it up quickly. We use the community version which has been critical to controlling costs. At that same time, we haven't sacrificed functionality in that there are some incredible plug-ins that ultimately replaced the Enterprise functionality (which we moved away from because of the annual price tag). We also work with a small development company locally who manage the set up of the plug-ins (but quite honestly it seems fairly straightforward). As the site "breaks" (for lack of a better word), we have our developer do it.

Cons: It's possible that it is far more plug and play than I realize for plug-ins but would love to see something user friendly created. There used to be some version of Magento that I think was discontinued but you almost need something for smaller companies that gives them the sophistication of the community edition but potentially managed by Magento. In the next few years, we need to make a decision to stay on Magento or move and Shopify has a managed version that is very intriguing. Our computers are using it and Big Commerce and they look every bit as sophisticated on the front end as we do but we are reliant on a separate developer who could move on or go out of business. A stable subscription based product for larger small businesses would be great.

Overall: Enterprise and dealing with the development company that supported us was terrible but community and a local developer has been great. We didn't have the budget for the big version but were sold into it by the developer when the community version was more appropriate.

Pros: There are a plethora of installed features: search term synonyms, built-in marketing tools, detailed shipping/packaging settings, separate catalog and cart price rules, etc. It's a monster of a platform, one that serves many companies very well. Not having to install a hundred plugins (like on WP) to do what Magento does out of the box is a plus, for sure, not to mention having to worry about the compatibility, support, and updates on WP plugins.

Cons: Go away for 5 minutes, you're signed out. Also, literally every website I download Magento to has to have everything reindexed. I get this message immediately after installing Magento: "One or more indexers are invalid. Make sure your Magento cron job is running." Very little info out there on how to fix this, so the first go around was a bit tricky. Not impossible or difficult now, but it's not a good feeling when you install software and immediately it appears broken.

It is simply not easy to make a site look good with Magento. You can, for sure, but it requires SO much more work than other platforms, and there's not an easy way to view the front end without going live.

The idea of not having plugins seemed appealing, but after using Magento, I only use WP with WooCommerce unless a client near-demands that I use Magento. It just takes way to long to create anything. The time I would have spent installing, updating, or researching plugins in WP, I wasted just trying to find my way around Magento. There should be a way to create a quick menu or admin favorites bar or something, so it doesn't take 3 clicks/pages just to get to where you want to be.

Overall: Honestly, very few. I suppose it's good to have gained a little experience with Magento to add to my repertoire, but that's about it.

Pros: Multiple users and ease to update website data and information.

Cons: Some elements can not be updated in house and require a developer/programmer.

Overall: Initially Magento was implemented by a website design company to create a website to sell a bespoke service and products for us. Set up as a website that we can maintain and develop in house, which we have done for the past 4 years. We do not use the shop and buy basket element of Magento. But I can see it would be a beneficial website use for companies selling off the shelf products. It is fairly easy to use but basic HTML5 knowledge is beneficial. Multiple users is helpful, that has required training in house. Magento role out security patches that need to be applied; we have these applied by an external company. As a B2C company, we do not actually use payments online so I unable to comment on that element of Magento. For the version of Magento that we use, we do not have access to their customer support however on the occasion I contacted them and they informed me this; they were helpful and at least put me in the right direction. The entire set up is good for a ecommerce; it is especially good for maintaining SEO well and updating it regularly.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that you or someone in your company know html5 as a minimum requirement.

Pros: Magento proves time and time again to be scalable beyond any other e-commerce platform that I've tried. With millions of plugins and plenty of developers working freelance worldwide, we've never hit a problem that can't be solved with an inexpensive plugin or a few hours of third-party development costs.

We've put through tens of millions of pounds of transactions throughout the years and the ability of the websites to handle peaks and troughs of traffic are unparalleled.

Cons: The software needs a true developer to customise it's functionality. If you wish to do something that is not handled by a plugin, the process of specifying and developing a custom function takes more involvement than on other platforms. Magento provides a bulletproof solution for enterprises where a member of staff can be tasked with the daily running of the site, it's not a "fire and Forget" solution by any stretch of the imagination.

Overall: Incredible way to leverage the power of e-commerce on the internet.

Pros: One of the most important things is really well prepared for handling the most common ecommerce businesses requirements out of the box even in the free version (paid version provides thinks like RMA support also), especially important supports international business setups. The things that are not handled out of the box can be completed through modules, some free/ some paid.

Cons: That hey don't have a SaaS option (they used in the past, Magento Go) as that will be easier for startups and SMB. Also the installation of the modules should be made more plug and play without needing tech support and more stable, as some time when adding new modules they crash with each other, and that means everything requires a lot of testing, that could be time consuming. In comparison to tools like shopify, Magento is much more complex.

Overall: Not having to develop my own ecommerce platform

Pros: Customize your heart out! Magento's base functionality has thousands of custom configurations that can be combined to create an intuitive user experience no matter how you want your site/store to function. If you're setting up an eCommerce store, this is by far the most amazing option as far as CMS is goes. Their user guides and training handouts make it easy to learn. Magento U training courses are invaluable to understanding the verbiage and concepts used across the software. (Scopes and creating any type of rule)

Cons: Extensions requires to further customize can be a bit clunky.

I wish further analytics were provided based on marketing features and rules created.

Also, for a CMS that provides such a seamless user experience, the admin tool is quite clicky. The return key should work to apply filters and such- instead it requires clicks to move forward and such.

Overall: To customize the user experience and create clear brand awareness. With premium content and an intuitive UX/UI comes increase to website conversions.

Pros: I used to think that WordPress was the best CMS available. However, once I started working for a company with complex e-commerce needs, I soon realized that WordPress just wouldn't do the job. What I enjoy about Magento is its ability to handle complex systems, and it's ability to integrate with various systems and plugins. Our business is both b2c and b2b, and I'm amazed at Magento's ability to handle our different types of customers.

Cons: At first I felt like the interface was a little clunky. It was not as clean of an interface as I was used to with WordPress. At first it can be a little overwhelming to navigate, but it doesn't take too long for the interface to become second nature. Also, there are a few work arounds that are needed here-and-there. For example, it's easier to copy and paste html code into a text editor instead of editing it within Magento. And sometimes there is a "save and continue" button that doesn't make much sense, as it redirects you to another page as soon as you save your work. But you get used to all of this pretty quickly.

Overall: Ability to successfully handle business with various types of customers for a business that does both b2c and b2b.

Pros: I am using Magento platform for more than 1 year. During this time period, I have experienced following capabilities which made me think that Magento is a reliable & easy to use CMS platform.

* You can customize source code and you can accomplish your desired functions for your business.

* Platform setting up is easy if you follow their documentation.

* Best e-commerce platform to startup a large online store.

* Developer friendly open source application.

* Admin dashboard will reflect your business growth.

* Can have large number of products without any disturbances.

* Can change currencies according to yours location.

Cons: * Have to flush the Magento cache once you have done changes using admin dashboard.

* Not easy to use without IT knowledge. (Due to complexity)

* If you have any desired functionalities you must have developer skills to accomplish the task.

* Few free extensions are available.

Overall: Developer skills also essential to have a perfect Magento CMS .

Pros: Magento can do almost everything and anything and there are so many plugins and addon's from the Magento community that pushes it far beyond just a website platform into something else that can really be tailored to fit your websites needs. Our Company came from the Yahoo platform and that was just a 4 wall padded cell compared to Magento which is beyond anything we can fully utilize to its maximum potential for our E-Commerce business.

Cons: There is some learning curve to Magento; however, with a little time it is easy enough to master and ends up having much more functionality and versatility in the long run.

Overall: Great E-Commerce platform that any small business owner should turn to when hosting their own website platform.

Pros: There are SO many options for personalizing the look of our website. Also, creating associated SKUs from a configurable SKU speed the process along, especially considering we are multiple clothing lines that we produce and release each year.

Cons: A lot of things that seem "normal" on website we visit cost extra to add to our platform. There is no simple way to bulk price change or discontinue products. We use simple SKUs and configurable SKUs and would think that the information would trickle down from the configurable to the simple SKUs that are associated to it, but they don't. So for price changing, we have to go into every single simple SKU (all sizes within all colors) to make any updates.

Overall: We are able to manage our website in house without having to hire too many outside contractors. We can personalize and update as things come up. It's nice to be able to have this control at our finger tips.

Pros: Magento is rich in features and functionality. As a developer I loved working on this platform, mainly because the developers who wrote it took a lot of care and did things right. If you test it and think it's cumbersome, remember this: it's not built for running a single website; it's built for running a business. I ran 15 websites off one instance of Magento, using cross-site pricing, coupons, and integration to our ERP system.

Cons: It's big and it's heavy. There are ways to make it faster, because you need them. It has a high-ish learning curve for a developer, so do be aware of this.

Overall: It's a big awesome piece of software, but if you just want to run a simple e-commerce site, it's not for you.

Pros: With the vast list of Magento developers out there, creating extensions and customizations, there really isn't anything you cannot do with Magento. When our website out-grew the smaller platform we were running, we migrated to Magento and didn't look back. It's a powerful system that can work for any size business, but really shows the power on larger websites.

Cons: There is definitely a learning curve and a cost associated with customizations. You get what you pay for in Magento developers, so it's important to find the right one. It will cost you more for doing custom work than other platforms, but once you find the right one, the possibilities are endless and it will last.

Pros: It definitely has the most extensive feature list, that's for sure! Catalog management, SEO, gift registries, customer service, order management and dozens more! If you want a really advance e-shop, Magento is your #1 choice, that's for sure. Advanced, really customizable, safe, always supported, that's why I love it.

Cons: If you're just a beginner, it might be a little bit difficult for you at first. But once you get used to it, you'll definitely love it. It cannot get better for ecommerce.

Overall: It's a really advanced platform so for this reason it might be a bit difficult to use for some, but besides that it's just fantastic. Magento has anything you'd ever need in a ecommerce platform, so that's why I recommend it 9/10 times. That one other time is usually for beginners - maybe they should try something else or at least prepare to learn a lot.

Pros: There is an opens source version that may work all right. I am not a developer and neither a technician and I could set it up by myself. Even when it takes hard work. There are plany of extensions to give your site the look and feel you want. And works well with multi language sites.

Cons: It is recommended for shops that has more than 1 million dollars of yearly revenue. After using it for some years, I see why. I think it can be fine for shops that sell more than 200.000 dollars per year. But it may need to have a developer working on at least some hours per week.

Overall: A good working e-commerce website based on open source code.

Comments: I¿ve always been a big fan of Magento CE and run several stores with that software. So imagine my excitement when I was invited to beta test Project Stratus (Magento Go). That feeling faded when I realized that I was most likely an alpha tester.

When Go was launched, I cautioned them that the program was not ready for rollout. The complaints about Go you¿ve read are legitimate; the lack of support, the billing issues, difficulty in setup¿

Magento is a beast to set up, but once it¿s running smoothly, it goes on forever. Magento Go is a beast to set up, even though they provide a ¿walk-through¿ Q&A set up program. If you want to make your site look different from all the other Magento Go Sites, you better well be a cascading style sheets guru.

Their SaaS (software as a service) program does NOT come with FTP access. All your style images have to be uploaded individually to their server through their web interface. This is a glorious pain in the tuckus.

They do offer a bulk uploader for item, but don¿t you dare leave a field accidentally bank. It will upload the new items, even list them on Google shopping, but they will not be listed in your Manage Products page. You won¿t be able to fill in the field you left blank.

Which brings me to tech support¿ practically non-existent. ¿I¿m going to escalate this for you.¿ was the most common support answer I heard. Did I ever hear back about the escalation? Nope! They only began to respond to me after I got my credit card company involved with them for selling a fraudulent product, and overbilling me on multiple occassions.

Recently I like AbanteCart because of the code it outputs and it has so many great features. It has great UI, rather secure with a fantastic layout. Also installation of extensions is very easy.

I also tried CS-Cart. It is easy to set up and manage it. There are much more features in comparing with other shopping carts.

Pros: We have choosed magento as being the best software in it's category, and it did not let us down. The team we hired for developing our store was a top agency in building stores and we finished one monthe later with a top of the line online store. The best thing when you choose Magento, it's that when you ask for something it can be done, that not being the case with other ecommerce platforms.

Cons: The cost is an issue for any startup or business, but it will be very quickly absorbed by the happy cusotmers that would return and the breeze of maintaining a big online store.

Pros: I'm a Magento 2 Enterprise Cloud user, and I find the bundled services (CDN, Caching, Reporting, etc) to be of great value. They are also PCI compliant and support a wide range of payment methods, shipping, and integrations. The platform is just booming right now and seems to have a great future.

Cons: Magento 2 Cloud Edition comes with a few restrictions for the sake of security. Those restrictions are a problem with extensions that aren't optimized for the cloud version. Cloud is a new product so developers are catching up with the specs. The installation of new features via extensions could also be a problem for non-developers. You will find WooCommerce, Shopify, and Prestashop click based approach more efficient in this aspect.

Cons: I am happy that M2 has been out for last few years. I wish there was a easy option to switch code from M1 to M2. M2 is a platform change, and requires me to rebuilt. I am sure somebody will create a module soon.

Pros: In the online store, created on the CMS Magento, you can functionally manage prices. Due to this function, it is possible for a certain category of buyers to offer individual prices, for example, to give discounts to regular customers. In addition, you can reduce the price for a while. You can also organize various actions, for example "when you buy this product you will receive free shipping or xxx as a gift." All special offers of the store can be collected on one page of the site, and, to make it you can be excellent in design from all other pages.

Cons: CMS Magento is designed for experienced administrators, since the control panel in it is quite complicated, and you will either need to spend a lot of time studying it, or hire an experienced specialist. The main drawback of Magento is the English-language management interface.

Pros: You can manage your virtual stores from your phone, it is easy to navigate and search for the results you need, you do not need a great experience for this type of applications as it tries to provide the best tool for your store.

Cons: This application has a better support to keep you informed about the virtual store that you own but to make a change or promote a new product in it is complicated by the variety of tools displayed on a mobile.

Pros: I am a big advocate for detailed date without historical limitations and Magento does a good job at capturing accurate data and listing it in a way that is moderately accessible to its user.

Cons: I am not a fan of the functionality of the product however, I feel the navigations tools are very dated and I am hoping Magento 2 has fixed some of these issues and made the program more modern and less dull.

Overall: I benefited from the software by being able to access data at will without fears of inaccuracies or missing data. It allowed for me to pull data relatively easy for sales reporting in excel and other formats.

Pros: For what I need, Magento makes it very easy to navigate through our product catalog and get and edit info on any products, categories, etc.

Cons: Magento can be fairly confusing to use for the first time if you do not have someone help you through it. Some sort of on boarding process could be very helpful

Pros: Implementing Magento into our website (and Wordpress site) has allowed us to easily take payments, submit license codes, and send receipts to our users.

Cons: It's complex. VERY complex. If you want to customize it, you need to know programming or be willing to spend lots of money in add-ons that can do what you need.

Pros: Once I worked with a large online store, the owners of which decided to create a new site. So it was very easy to import goods into Magento. For downloading, use the third-party program Magmi. It allows you to download products with all the attributes and data, including pictures and images of goods. Standard import of goods makes it easy to download products to the site.

Cons: In order for your online store to work "perfectly" to speed up the loading of the pages, it is necessary to "tighten" the caching system to the site, to fine-tune NGINX and optimize the configuration of the database. This will significantly speed up the work of the site with cumbersome topics (like Ultimo) and a large number of products.

Pros: Flexibility- connectivity from CRM to our online marketplace on the website, allowing both B2C and B2B transactions as well as flexibility on a complicated B2B managed sales pipeline.

Cons: Quite drab UX, not remarkable and fairly basic functionality.

Overall: A good system overall, much cheaper than competitors on the CRM market and commendable for its flexibility in terms of integrating with an online market place (which I figure is the main functionality), but not a particularly stimulating or engaging CRM tool which limited its internal take up.

Pros: We LOVED Magento when we first started with it. We hired a designer and made a beautiful store. MagentoGo was the perfect solution for a small business. We built a store that looked professional. Many large companies build on Magento because it is open source and you can really customize it. Magento had great customer service but just didn't fit our needs anymore.

Cons: Unfortunately, Magento Go shut down in 2015, and there was no simple solution for our small business. We were left to start from scratch. There is now Magento Open Source that allows for small businesses to use it free, and to offer a lot of what we first fell in love with Magento for. But, there isn't much in the middle. Free or expensive.

Pros: This CMS has huge capabilities, especially when it comes to creating an online store. In our company we are engaged in the creation and promotion of large projects, and so it is Magento that helps to easily and almost painlessly adjust the work. Creating an online store, we add functionality, according to which several images are added to the product, lists of wishes are drawn up, etc. Another advantage of this CMS is open source code, which anyone can edit.

Cons: The presence of open source also introduces some inconvenience. About myself I can say that when I update the CMS version to a newer one, I constantly have to control my previous edits.

Pros: 1. As it is an open source platform, we can customize the source code to achieve desired functionality.

2. Software is highly flexible to manage multiple stores at various locations. We can also assign specific languages & currencies according to geographic location and customer ease. It's mobile and search engine friendly as well.

3. Large community of users are available in the platform. So it's easy to get support quickly from users. They have created many extensions and plugins for customizing the tool as well.

4. Magento can handle large no of products. Hence this software is helpful while scaling up the business in the long term.

Cons: 1. Enterprise version is very costly to use. Community version is free though.

2. Importing the data into the site happens at very slow rate due to the flexibility provided to users. So customizing the site according to desired features consumes a lot of time.

3. Hosting can only be done on a dedicated server. Shared hosting will create a slow and frustrating experience to the customers. This is the biggest drawback of the software.

Overall: Best for customizing the ecommerce store and Scaling up the business.

I really like the marketplace where I can find great functionality pre-built. I also like how strict and tightly build Magento is because if something's done right it's predictable and I know I won't mess some random thing up if I change something on another piece.

Cons: Magento is a learning curve and a half. It's harder to learn than learning to develop in some ways :). I also often find that plugins from the marketplace are low quality, it would be nice if there were more vetting other than community vetting.

Pros: Easy to use in the beginning: this application has a friendly way of use, even for those who are not particularly a technological expert, to the point that you can even find solutions outside the box to support yourself and the company.

Ability to scale from little to much: you can climb from 5 products to 200,000, in fact it was intended to make that scale process possible.

This application is adapted to the user, as it can serve for small companies , as a much larger

Cons: The maintenance costs on the technical side are high although this has to do with a complex system of operation and the high specialization that this entails, taking into account that it takes a considerable amount of time to learn to use it.

Hosting: Due to the complexity and scalable design, you pretty much need to host a Magento store on its own dedicated server. This means additional expense to get things started, and an extra online monthly cost to boot.

Comments: I am using magento for over 4 years. I am using magento as a developer and store owner. Let me first describe my developer experience. Magento is big and hard to learn CMS system for building e-commerce stores. However, it is also the most robust one, most adaptable and most extensible platform. It can take some time and money to adopt it for all your needs, but when you reach desired state, it will pay off. You can automate most of tasks and of course synchronize your catalog, orders and clients with your internal CMS system. As a store owner I would like to say, that you need some time to get used to work in magento admin. They are many settings and you need to learn what are they for. But it also offers a lot more advanced functions (payment methods, promotional rules, tax rules, group promotional rules, reviews, etc) than similar open source software. Try it!

Pros: - adaptable - a lot of extensions for all your needs - a lot of built in advanced functions

Cons: - quite hard to learn - needs properly configured server for optimal speed

Pros: Easy, and great way for keeping things organized. Especially for mid sized business that don't exactly have a web team, but have people understand code. And for those who don't understand code, you can also upload information without coding.

Comments: Magento has one of the most extensive features lists you will ever find in terms of ecommerce software.

Though it's not easy to use at all. Magento is a great platform for a shop that you know will do well. If you¿re an ultra-small business making your first move into e-commerce, there may well be less heavyweight solutions that can do the job. But if you are getting big, you would love to have it . Magento is used by massive retailers like Samsung and Nespresso, as well as countless small e-commerce operators, so it¿s a serious contender for any business looking to make the move into online retail. This Varien's open-source software is is very powerful and yet intuitive when it comes to presenting your products. You can easily create your products catalog and manage it. You can add more than one images for the same product, review the product and allow creating of wish lists. It allows catalog and product browsing, product filtering and product comparison. You can easily add new products, do batch product update, manage your inventory, easily manage orders and shipments, and integrate different payment methods.

To sum up, my experience with Magento has been extremely good. It took time to get used to but definitely worth the effort. I , of course, don't even have a single regret spending my time trying it out.

Comments: Magento falls in the category of people with professional web development experience, and although intermediate level developers can most definitely handle Magento, it's generally implemented by medium to large e-commerce sites with some cash to spend on a web person or department. That said, keep reading to learn more about what Magento can offer you.

Magento has one of the most extensive features lists you will ever find in terms of e-commerce software. It's the exact reason why the rates are so high and why all the Magento customers are large corporations.

Everything from marketing to customer segmentation is included. Standard features come along with the open source Magento, so you can work on search engine optimization with tools for Google sitemaps, Google Content APIs and search engine friendly URLs.

Marketing and conversion tools include coupon codes, customer groups, product bundles and newsletter management. The list is truly endless when it comes to features, but here's an overarching breakdown of the most important areas:

Catalog management

Catalog browsing

Checkout, payment, and shipping

Cons: All that flexibility can also make the product extremely unwieldy and difficult to maintain without establishing strict protocols and conducting extensive onboarding training

Pros: Magento - an interesting platform, great for creating quality online stores. This CMS has many advantages over the others, for example, it's its scalability. I mean that the site created on this platform works equally well if you add 100 products or 5,000 units to the store. Another plus is the ability to create the necessary missing modules by the programmers and install them in the form of plug-ins.

Cons: As for the ease of use, I would not call CMS Magento simple. In order to install it and configure it properly, you will have to use an experienced programmer, but the result will definitely please you.

Pros: - extremely customizable due to a multitude of plugins available (both paid and free, but paid ones are usually worth it)

- comes in the enterprise as well as standard options (we usually use enterprise for our customers, because it offers even more customization and features)

- convenient to use for developers

- works great for large ecommerce stores

Cons: - might not be the easiest to understand if you are an average user and don't know anything about coding.

- might not be a cost-effective option for smaller e-stores, because it's not free, but if you are planning to grow your business, Magento would provide ample ground for that.

Pros: Very customizable, tons of themes to pick from and easy to create your own designs. Community is open, easy to get help for obscure questions that you occasionally stumble upon. I like the flow transactional emails, you can tell they worked hard to make it so configurable and well done.

Cons: Expect issues when updates come out, because things can and will break. They could improve the reporting tools, add more segments.

Lacks a simple blog option, where you could publish newsletters etc. Wordpress+Woocommerce could be better if this option is important.

Not liking the SOAP API communication. Simple REST would be more pleasant to use.

Pros: Magento is a very popular CMS, but it's not worth it to develop small on-line stores. In other respects, the software complex allows you to make an Internet store of any complexity, and if necessary its functionality can be expanded with the help of modules.

Cons: The interface of this CMS is difficult to call simple and intuitive - for the first time the eyes all run. The second negative point is the high cost of maintaining the system.

Pros: Very rich in extensions and features almost making it impossible for developers to fail to meet their client's project scopes and expectations.

Given that the multi vendor features are setup perfectly and are functioning as desired it gives a very stable system.

Cons: Seems to be difficult and slow to run from the localhost as it requires a powerful server. I think this can be considered by the software developer team to allow for better a localhost environment to allow for better testing before live production.

Overall: Great e-commerce CMS allowing for orderly product, vendor and client management.

Cons: The truth is that due to its complexity Magento is not a simple task, for server load. A very powerful server is required.

Pros: CMS Magento has a lot of modules that allow you to create a variety of sites, but best of all, my view turns to online shopping. For example, there are ready built-in tools necessary for marketing, you do not have to install a lot of additional plug-ins, everything is already in the system itself, you only need to configure these modules correctly.

Cons: Technical support for the project is weak, and it is difficult to find enough documentation on the network. I am glad that the system is relatively simple and most of the functions can be configured intuitively.

Pros: Makes a very clean website, can work with a lot of other software companies for things like inventory.

Cons: Not immediately obvious how to change particular features, some issues with auto-generating passwords as well.

Overall: Great, but not super-user-friendly off the bat. Not as many custom options as WordPress or similar companies, but once you figure it out, your site looks very clean. It also syncs with loads of products, such as Acctivate, which can help you have a live inventory system. Very useful.

Pros: This CMS won me the opportunity to customize almost all modules, an intuitive interface and the ability to choose from a mass of templates that are suitable for a particular business.

Cons: If you encounter this CMS for the first time, you may experience difficulties installing it. Another drawback - it is very demanding of resources, so if you want to create a quality online store, choose a powerful server.

Comments: As a long time fan of the X-Men as a whole and Magneto in particular, I enjoyed this tremendously. I ordered this at the same time as "Magneto: Testament," which was finally reprinted, and the two pair together extremely well.

Bunn gets Magneto's voice perfectly in this volume, as we see him roaming the country, eliminating threats to mutantkind. There are a couple of instances where we think we're about to see a softer side of Magneto, only to have him revert to his true form time and time again, which is essentially what this story is, coming on the heels of Magneto partnering with Cyclops for the past few years, but now going out on his own again.

The second arc deals with Magneto seeking vengeance for perhaps the most infamous mutant-on-mutant crime, the Mutant Massacre (a classic and incredible story from the 1980s that included the first published encounter between Sabretooth and Wolverine). It's worth picking up that collection if you want to know more about the Marauders, who are the victims of Magneto's wrath here. The final page of this collection left me wondering what direction this will head next, and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for the next volume.

Pros: I like how the community edition is free. I also like how big of community it has with custom themes and tutorials, extensions and plugins. Magento has made me a lot of money because I can get a full functioning e-commerce website up fast for customers, but not just fast, customizable. So it's not restricted like Shopify or WooCommerce.

I really like the new Magento 2 update. I feel like they put a lot of time and effort to do a better job with things that were a headache with 1.9. Overall this is my go-to platform and would recommend this to anyone.

Cons: Patches in 1.9, updates and security issues. I always needed to optimize for speed, mostly with caching so that would have been something.

Pros: I would recommend this CMS for those who do not have much experience in installing CMS, because Magento is great for beginners. True, this applies to modern versions, because a few years ago the application had an intricate interface, a lot of bugs and a minimum of useful documentation, in which it would be possible to find key instructions.

Cons: In order for the system to work quickly and without failures, it needs to be installed on a fairly powerful server, the maintenance of which usually costs a lot of money. And if you do not have certain knowledge, get into the system code, then the emergence of critical bugs is simply inevitable, so you will have to hire a qualified programmer.

Pros: I migrated from Presta shop to Magento because I needed more freedom configuring my shop. Magento allows that. It's pretty speedy CMS as well! Of course, the best thing is that the community version is free. The fact that Enterprise version is used by Nike, Coca Cola and Ford should mean it's a quality CMS.

Cons: - Changing even a little thing may require lots of technical knowledge (or time trying to find out how to do that)

- Some parts of interface and menus do not seem intuitive. It's pretty hard to find something for the first time.

- lack of pre-made themes and pretty difficult process of installing one
