Overall, we love the platform. It is affordable and meets all thed needs of a small but growing non-profit. We love the reporting features the best.

Pros

The customer/client support is the best of any donor management software. We speak to a real person when we need help with a report or simply trying to achieve whatever the desired result is. The onboarding training and support is comprehensive and there is tons of ongoing trainings as well so you are getting the most our of your system.

Cons

The aesthetics of the public facing donor pages could use work. I wish we had a little more design control over what the donor pages looks like.

Overall, CharityProud is a phenomenal value for the cost and is a crucial tool in our non profit's arsenal.

Pros

I really love being able to pick up the phone and talk to a human who has been able to solve my problems each time I've had an issue!

Cons

CharityProud has so many options and can be modulated in so many ways that it can be a bit overwhelming at first to run reports/create events/etc.

Overall I do not regret using CP or the experience I had with the employees.

Pros

The support from \[sensitive content hidden\] and her willingness to hop on calls very immediately! Not a lot of software service companies that offer that level of one-on-one support.

Cons

A little slow moving and hard to sync with other nonprofits softwares. Not a super simple user interface for the constituents and people we had use to fill out forms or sign up for events.

My overall experience with Charityproud has been very positive. The platform is easy to navigate and provides detailed, reliable information for donors, volunteers, reports and campaigns. This saves time and makes it much easier to stay organized and track progress.

Pros

I really appreciate how easy Charity Proud is to use, and how detailed the reporting and campaign information is. It makes it simple to track everything and stay on top of our campaigns without a lot of extra work.

Cons

The thing that I like least about Charity Proud is that we didn't find it sooner ;) If I had to pick something it would be the inability to import myself instead of having Charity Proud do it.

Charityproud helped us combine multiple platforms for tracking volunteers and fundraising into one. It has also allowed us to be more organized, especially for fundraising events and donor relations.

Cons

Pros

We are able to capture more inclusive donor data and eliminate multiple data entry points. This allows our mailings and e-communications to reach a larger audience. With more inclusive data we're also able to segment our donor population as needed.

Pros

The software is able to provide consistent management of various projects within one system, alleviating the need for multiple systems. CharityProud allows for customization within the system to meet the needs, and changing needs, of our non-profit organization. This was extremely important during the COVID pandemic as we needed to move to new ways of donor engagement. The system also provides improvements based on user needs, and continues to update and create new features.

Cons

Some of CharityProud's terms and data entry options are not intuitive to the user. The main dashboard/screen contains multiple use options, and can sometimes be overwhelming to the user, especially new users with limited donor data knowledge.

CharityProud's features met our organization's data needs, and because the system is continuously making improvements and adding new features we're able to use the system for new projects and capture more data. Overall, Charityproud has been a reliable and effective platform for managing donors, tracking fundraising, and organizing events. It has streamlined a lot of our work and helped us stay organized as our donor base has grown. While there are small areas that could be improved (especially reporting flexibility), the value for money and the quality of customer support make it an excellent option for nonprofits looking for a straightforward management tool.

Pros

Charityproud is very user-friendly compared to other nonprofit management systems. It saves us time by keeping donor information, event management, and reporting all in one place. The customer support team is excellent — responsive, patient, and willing to walk you through issues step by step. I also like that it’s designed with smaller nonprofits in mind, so the tools feel practical and not overwhelming.

Cons

Some of the reporting features can be a little clunky and not as customizable as I’d like. At times it takes a few extra steps to get the exact data we want. Also, the interface design feels a little dated in places, though it functions well.

Our main goal was the conversion of donors to volunteers and vice versa. We also wanted an easier way to manage and track donors, volunteers, our partner families' sweat equity hours, and our family selection process.

Pros

Everything is streamlined into one platform! All of our staff use this software and it's easy to navigate. Reporting is simple and it's not a lengthy process to review and compare donor and volunteer data.

Cons

Since we have been with Charity Proud from the beginning, we've been able to provide feedback on ways to improve things as we go. It uniquely fits with Habitat for Humanity affiliate needs and they do a great job of listening and implementing new segments to enhance functionality.

Pros

The best feature of Charityproud is their people. The customer support is with parallel. Excellent (and ongoing) training. They are always willing to answer questions.

Cons

Change is hard. We di not want to learn a new CRM. This a reflection on our staff, not on Charityproud. They made the transition as seamless as they could.

It has been a great experience. Customer service is alway so helpful and they have videos made explaining almost anything you could need to learn. We have been really happy with our choice and I have recommended CP to other non-profits

It is great to have everything in one place. CharityProud is easy to use and helps us so much to keep up with our donors.

Cons

It would be nice if it was more integrated. The integration with MailChimp is a little clumsy. It would also be nice if it were mobile.

We are very satified with Charityproud. With their support we are closer to learning the program and how it can benefits us in the future.

Pros

Customer service, is critical to us because we are a small non-profit. The person that managed the program stepped down without notice and without sharing how to operate the program. Without Chariyproud's service and it would have been so complicated and time consuming to learn the program through by ourselves. I cannot say enough about their customer service help.

Cons

It takes time to learn new programs. Customized forms can be consuming and trying to determine if you created a mini event correct and with its details.

Charityproud provides a safe, easily accessible, reliable CRM system that exceeds the needs of small shop nonprofits. Whether our staff is trying to check a donor profile note from their cell phone on the road or managing gift acknowledgement from the office, Charityproud meets our needs. I really cannot emphasize enough the genuine relationship Charityproud staff builds with their nonprofit clients. They want to understand the challenges we face and work to create technology solutions to anything we bring to them. They are a tremendous asset to our organization as we seek to cultivate and grow our donor base.

Pros

Charityproud is an excellent donor database/CRM system that will save all nonprofits (and especially small nonprofits) time and money. It's very user friendly and intuitive in its functions. Donor profiles are easy to setup and manage. Donor engagement is a little time-intensive to setup, but is a vital tool for this software. Events are easy to manage. The survey function of this CRM is a big asset to smaller organizations that may not otherwise have access to survey software that easily integrates with their donor profiles. Customer service is second to none and goes well above and beyond any other CRM software company in the market today - our account manager is accessible, relatable, efficient, and genuinely cares about our work. We can build a real relationship with the Charityproud team, not wait for hours on a generic help phone line that wastes time.

Cons

The reporting function of Charityproud has been a little challenging for us. Part of this is because of poorly organized data that is a result of a lack of good data management at our organization historically and has no bearing on Charityproud's software. But it is sometimes difficult to export large quantities of raw data from Charityproud in a way we can work with in Excel for data analytics. I firmly believe most of these problems we've encountered would be resolved if our organization had cleaner data. We've also found the gift acknowledgement letter templates in Charityproud are a bit limiting as we've sought to create more graphic, dynamic gift letters for our donors with a minimal marketing budget. We've never encountered a problem we couldn't work around with the Charityproud team.

We are very happy with our choice to covert to Charityproud. We like supporting local businesses and have found the Charityproud team to be easy to work with and open to suggestions. About a year after we converted to Charityproud, we hired a new \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. In an effort to help get this person familiar with the system, we asked the Charityproud team to come out and provide an overview to the new hire and those of us who had been trained the year prior. What we discovered was that everyone learned a great deal from this refresher training. After having a year to work with the software, many of us had very different questions than when we were first trained. It was also a great time to work through some scenarios in real time. I suggested to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] that the company build into its package, a one-year refresher training.

Pros

We love the standard reports and find the dashboards extremely helpful to see where things stand at a glace. The software is very intuitive and easy to use. I don't hesitate to log in from my office or on my mobile device to find donor information or add a note to donor file. Our former software was so cumbersome that I often avoided the chance to use it as a resource.

Cons

The volunteer component does not include all of the tracking features we need for daily volunteers versus event volunteers buy we are hopeful this will be an expanded functionality at some point.

We ultimately thought this software program would best meet our needs.

LOVE having our contacts: donors, members, event attendees... all in one place. Also, volunteers (which I have yet to upload) and Board Members.

Pros

This software has a LOT to offer - my suggestion is that you have someone on your team that is dedicated to learning its many functions. While I am a daily user, that is largely based on aspects such as donations and memberships - which I process a quickly as possible. Once you are well versed in the system, it can work wonders!

Cons

So many layers exist and I feel that sometimes content is inadvertently hidden. Meaning, even a search doesn't turn it up so I have to count on our Account Manager to assist. It would be easier for me to SHOW someone what I feel is frustrating rather than try to explain it as it requires me to be on certain pages and clicking on specific items to describe. Unless a person is a true CharityProud guru, you can use a lot of valuable time on it.

Reason for choosing Charityproud

We didn't choose or review other products, this was based on a team members' previous experience. I had access to Salesforce in the past (and hated it), so I was confident when this was suggested that it would be an upgrade from the other software. No regrets.

When searching for a new platform, I reviewed over a dozen different options. I am very pleased that we chose CharityProud. We have had a wonderful experience. It's great to work with this company

Pros

CharityProud is extremely user friendly and intuitive. Additionally, it is easy to get needed reports. But, what truly sets CP apart from the rest is the great customer support. If there is an issue, support staff is accessible and helpful, and there no additional charge after you have used a certain amount of time.

Cons

I'm sure the software can always be improved. It has been my experience, that if something additional is needed, CP staff works to make it happen for the client. They are continuously working to improve their product.

As previously stated, the cost, the unlimited customer service and the overall product performance.

Pros

Charityproud is wonderful because the people who make the software are willing to work with the client. If there is not some function that would help our day to day, they are willing to take a look at how they can integrate that into the system. It is always updating and evolving to fit our needs. I also love how accessible the team is who helps troubleshoot. If I ever have a problem they are one call or email away. It also serves so many different functions to my non-profit. From tracking volunteers, selling tickets to events and running reports, that does not even touch all it does. It is easy for me to set up, and simple for my constituents and volunteers to interact with.

Cons

As things update, it would be nice to get some sort of update, letting me know the new functions, so I do not miss out.

Pros

We. had been using a combination of home grown Access databases and Excel spreadsheets to do Donor, Volunteer, Grant, Homeowner management. Charity Proud allow us to consolidate our efforts into one simple to use cloud based tool. We have expanded the use to tracking staff hours and homeowner payments. It is a very flexible application with excellent reporting capabilities. Also, the customer services has been exceptional. They have always been willing to help and always respond in a timely manner.

Cons

It would be very nice to have a module that supported Mortgage Servicing, including payment and escrow tracking with ability to link with Quickbooks.

Our overall experience has been great while using Charityproud. We have been able to quickly pull reports needed to review our funding strategies and view our donor giving capacity-both of which are critical to a non-profit organization.

Pros

I like the ease of use when utilizing this software. I am a hands on learner and it is very easy to navigate and learn. The videos are super useful too!

Cons

There really isn't anything that I like least about the software. We did run into an issue when we recently held a photo fundraiser and did not have the capability to have the registrant upload a photo to the Charityproud registration page.

Excellent customer service; excellent onboarding process; crisp clean design; excellent ease of use.

Pros

We purchased CharityProud as a CRM but we love the branded online giving page. It's a two-for-one at a fraction of the cost of other products like Network for Good. We are using CP this year to offer online event registration and raffle ticket purchases for the first time. It's amazing.

Cons

We have had a tough time uploading data, but that is largely because it was so hard to export data from our previous CRM. There are a few quarks like a propensity for using ALL CAPS as a default for acknowledgements that I don't love but there are workarounds.

Overall CP has been an awesome addition to our affiliate, and we are very glad that we made the change.

Pros

The Charity Proud software has a lot of great capabilities that have really helps us to expand on our existing fundraisers and programs, as well as helped us to launch new ones. We have also loved the great customer support and responsiveness of the CP team.

Cons

We hope that there may be a component down the road where we can pool together with other Habitat affiliates through CP to report our mortgage payments to the credit agencies. We still have to pay for the Keystone software for this feature alone.

Reason for choosing Charityproud

It has the best options for the best price. We also really liked the CP staff that we worked with as we vetted various companies.

It is much easier to create reports and track income with Charityproud than before. We have loved the ongoing and continued support as well!

Pros

Charityproud has really great customer service and the support is really great. The company really listens to clients and comes out with new features at their request. It has made reporting and donor management within our organization so much more streamlined!

Cons

Integration and onboarding was a process, and it was much easier to learn more as we used the software. Some features don't exist in the platform that we could benefit from, but they usually respond well to suggestions or requests of clients.

Reason for choosing Charityproud

Local to Charleston area and cheaper than other options.
