Cliq is one of my most used applications at work. It is the primary source of communication in our telehealth network. I also use it as a helpful tool for employee and network management. We utilize the ability to direct message, create channels, and have group messages frequently. In addition the pin feature is very helpful for easy reference of important messages. While you can hold meetings in Cliq, I prefer google meets as Cliq is sometimes buggy.

Pros

I love the variety of features and permission sets. It is very helpful with a larger group of employees as a manager. The features I use most include calls, channel creation, pinning messages for organization, monitoring the network communication.

Cons

I think that it can be quite buggy at times with profile pics glitching or not loading messages. Its also sometimes difficult to scroll back through past chats as you can only go back to a date not a time.

I was impressed with the opportunities for developers but not with the UX.

Pros

Cliq integrates well with other Zoho apps, particularly helpful in Contact. All the basic chat and collaboration features are there in a familiar user interface. It's possible for advanced users to create extensions, custom integrations, bots, and commands with a powerful development backend and make these customizations available throughout your organization and team.

Cons

Unless you're already using a bunch of Zoho apps there's no reason to switch from Slack, Flock, or Asana, which area already mature platforms. Compared to these other apps, particularly Flock, the UI is a bit obtuse and hard to get a clear overview of. I particularly disliked the double panes within a chat window (opening the settings for a bot, for example).

A great alternative to Slack. Very similar user interface, integrates nicely with the rest of the Zoho ecosystem.

Pros

Clean interface, easy to update settings, like how easy it is to invite new people to the platform. Easy to create channels and direct messages for different topcis.

Cons

Wish I didn't have to use MarkDown for some formatting, it's not how I think about formatting vs. some sort of easy to use tool bar to make the text more easily formatted.

Overall, we have had a great experience since we started using Zoho Cliq. Its user interface makes it easy to use both on the web and mobile apps. We also love that it is integrated into other Zoho tools and we can extend its functionalities using extensions. Another great feature about it is how you can start a messaging thread from a video conference call and the messages are persisted after the call ends. Aside from the hiccups we encountered when integrating with our custom system, we have had a wonderful experience using Cliq.

Pros

Zoho Cliq is a very good alternative to other messaging and collaboration tools. I like that it has a rich set of features for free! It allows for quick collaboration and instant messaging for both small and large teams and has a host of extensions that allow a user to extend its functionalities.

Cons

This is a great tool with lots of features but what we found lacking was proper documentation on how to extend some parts of it. We tried to integrate our external tool to post to Cliq and we had to dig through quite a handful of documentation to make some headway.

It was a great experience! I loved the functionalities but yet again looks sort of overwhelming with the features and sometimes I dont know where to look but it is a great product with a lot of functionalities.

Pros

It enables me customise my Workspace. It has a lot of functionalities like I can set reminders from conversation, set a meeting from that same conversation. That's really cool.

Cons

It has a lot of functionalities that one needs to explore more.

Pros

Zoho Cliq's threaded conversations and group chats categorize our dev discussions by project. Screen sharing on code reviews is as open as day, and message search allows us to find technical choices from weeks past when debugging client problems.

Cons

High learning curve compared to Slack, and some messaging features feel clunky compared to alternatives.

For some who uses Zoho products, this is a good tool to buy it integrates well with the other Zoho applications. There are some small issues with this but with the cost and features available it make it a solid contender.

Pros

The interface is easy to use and navigate. Like all Zoho products it integrates into the zoho ecosystem. The pricing is very affordable compared to other options on the market

Cons

Zoho Cliq sometimes freezes in meetings and on the mobile app, this needs to be fixed but it is not a regular occurrence. There can be a delay on notification in the mobile app

Cliq is a great addition when using other Zoho apps. I haven't used it as a stand-alone app so I can't comment on that, but so far we are impressed with all the features of Zoho One and the integrations available. I recommend it. Their support is a little slow and responses are vague, but the help pages and online knowledge base are a good reference. Most issues get resolved but it usually takes more than one or two back and forth emails.

Pros

Integrates well with other Zoho One apps. Cliq is easy to use for internal users. Slack is easier for external and other organizations but Cliq has that feature, just not as user-friendly. Cliq also has threads, custom channels, and a lot more flexibility when utilizing other Zoho products.

Cons

The threads are new and it can be a little difficult to keep track of them but the search function works well to find everything. The only other con would be getting external users (subcontractors) integrated to chat with employees. If Cliq could make adding external users easier and give some ability to join all channels instead of just external ones, it would be much better.

Pros

Zoho Cliq has made the communication in my enterprise exponentially simple, by the way it is designed even a toddler would be able to use it with ease.Secondly the customer support that Zoho offers is miles ahead compared to other communication softwares. They are always reliable and their team are really well versed in what they're doing.Since the inception of my enterprise I've been using Zoho Cliq and I can confidently say that I frequently use the product. Apart from that it also has numerous features that has really helped me in many ways

Cons

The only thing that I dislike about the product is that it has limited team collaboration tools, which at times causes problems when the team tries to collaborate on a big project.

Pros

I've been using Zoho Cliq for the last 2 years, we use it for internal communication and we depend on it 100%. If you have a team and use Zoho CRM it's a must-have tool as it makes communicating much easier with your team. I love the features it has as you can text, call, and share your screen with other team members.

Cons

It doesn't change status to away when offline which makes tracking employees a bit harder.

Zoho Cliq is a very easiest communication tool for communicating with a group of people and at the same time with personal chat. There is no delay in chats on both sending and receiving ends. It has integration with Zoho apps. In the search icon, we can search and find the people, messages, and files making it easy to find important information.

Cons

People who only have Zoho users can have free access, but for others, it is such a cost. Then It's better to use it on a desktop Instead of using it on mobile phones because it provides functionality limitations.

Overall it's been really great and intuitive. The team has really gotten into an easy flow that is showing promise.

Pros

Keeping multiple chat windows open in the same view. This is crucial for me and saves time as I don't have to switch to another tab or another conversation and then click into the comment bar. This may sound trivial but this drives me mad on other tools.

Cons

Not much. If I had to choose something it would be the sound for the alert when you get a notification, but then again you want that noise to be annoying so you don't miss it.

This could stand to have a tutorial feature. Some of the options on Cliq are difficult to find on your own. With a tutorial, users could find all the features of Cliq far more quickly and easily.

Zoho Cliq is nice for people who like Zoho and their way of doing things. Zoho has an entire family of software that all work together.

Pros

Zoho Cliq is Zoho's chat and communication software. I sign in and check live and Zoho tracks my time. I can log my breaks and the live will turn off while I'm away. Send an important message or notification to everyone at once. Zoho cliq syncs my calendar and I can use audio or video calls.

Cons

I don't like Zoho Cliq as much as I like other communication software. Zoho is always different. The video calls can be very difficult to start and to include everyone because of the priority labels for meetings.

Pros

Quick and easy communication. Segmented to channels to keep things organized. Well made and designed clients for Desktop and Mobile use!

Cons

Can feel a bit bloated at times. There are plenty of settings to fiddle with but I haven't had the need to.

I love using this program every day. The truth is that it facilitates communication with my team and also allows me to send us quick files if necessary at the moment. Also, if they are distracted in other activities, it notifies them that someone wants to talk to them. So it really is a great tool

Cons

I consider that the negative of the tool is that sometimes it is slow to load the files that need to be sent immediately. But the rest is perfectly functional and wonderful

We use the entire suite of Zoho products, so it's very convenient to have the chat function built into the platform. Means less tabs open on my computer.

Cons

I miss the giphy feature that I used when my company used Slack. It was great for injecting some levity into company communication.
