Pros: What I like most about this software is that it is a functional solution to our grant management needs. It allows for tracking of proposals from the pre-award to the post-award phase, recording of report deadlines, meeting federal time and effort requirements, linking to all of the important grant documents.
Cons: What I like least about this software is the report generator and that is only because I haven't mastered it yet. I'm confident that with continued use it will become more functional.
Pros: This tool is essential in helping our staff certify on time. The data is readily available and easy to understand. It also allows us to have multi level certifications which creates a robust system of checks and balances. This system seamlessly interfaces to our payroll system which eliminates the need for duplicate data entry. Once the effort is certified, the statements are very easy to read.
Cons: We are unable to include historical paper based effort certification statements that were created prior to when we started using the system. However, we have been able to work around this by storing those documents as pdf files.
Overall: Our effort certification system has been transformed!
