Pros

ContactMonkey is easy to install, and pretty easy to use. It is non-intruding, and doesn't influence the overall workflow of outlook. The reporting is easy to understand, and can be nicely exported out to excel.

Cons

Software is very slow with emails that are sent out to large list serves (of 800 people or more). I noticed that often the statics view will not even open with emails like these. We specifically purchased software for our large distributions, so this is disappointing.

Pros

Cons

for the past 2 years their domain expired and the service was down for days

Pros

Basic tracking service. I could probably find the same from a free service.

Cons

I used to be able to click on the e-mail subject line in the sidebar and open that specific e-mail. I am no longer able to do this. Now I have no idea which e-mail that specific person is looking at. I e-mailed your support team and they told me it was something to do with POP/IMAP. even though I haven't changed my e-mail format. Just fobbing me off rather than finding a solution. We will be looking for another e-mail tracking provider when ousubscription expires.

Ease of use for documenting emails

Pros

The one click adding emails is very useful. and the fact that it already has a plug-in in to outlook really helps.

Cons

The fact that it takes to long to find opportunists and doesn't give me automatically the chance to choose between identical contacts with similar properties that he found. So he just chooses for me.

Pros

Email tracking is what the Monkey does. I love how it tracks forwards as you can easily tell when what you sent is being socialized.

Cons

May not always capture opens. sometimes someone will reply to an email but they never appeared in the dashboard.

I've reached out to them 3 times now requesting to cancel my service with ZERO RESPONSE. Buyer beware! Do not use this company. Product hardly ever works as it should and they won't let you cancel.

Pros

When it worked? It would let you know when an email had been opened/read and how often.

Cons

Hardly ever worked! Would work one day then wouldn't work for the next 7. You'd have to reach out to Customer Service who would get back in a couple days and ultimately did nothing.

Ok - helps me see people opening my emails.

Pros

Basically see when customers are looking at my emails and how often. it is interesting to see emails reopened a year later. Great intel!

Cons

I would like to learn how to run more reports on what emails are working and not. Sometime crashes and have to restart.

Tracking who has opened their email

Pros

Easily tracks who has opened their email and who has not opened their email. The program works well for us.

Cons

Sometimes Contact Monkey goes down and can be down for a few hours to a few days. But Customer service is always available to let us know what is happening

because of its accuracy, its handy and gives information as per need. it's user-friendly too. I like this software

Cons

get stuck in between so have to restart outlook many times. if we can have more information in the graph, it would help a lot.

Pros

The custom reports page is useful when tracking email campaigns/open rates and seeing when our clients are looking at our product.

Cons

I don't really have many complaints.... The set up initially was a bit challenging but the team was helpful in providing us guidance and walking us through the process.

Pros

Being able to see who has looked at my emails and attachments. I also like that I can see which subjects are working best.

Cons

Outlook plugin doesn't work great all the time. Also don't like that I can't see which individual has looked at the email when it's sent to multiple people.

a bit of a learning curve but that comes with every new platform. the window pane on the right can be a pain on a small laptop

Super easy to install, get up and running and productive. If you need an email tracking system for Office365 this is a great solution.

Pros

We needed a mail merge and email tracking (opens, links clicked etc) that is fully integrated with Office365. This product works great. It was easy to install, works just as they say it does. The reports are crisp clean and easy to understand. Support and the videos were very good especially for a very low price.

Cons

There was nothing that I disliked. It did exactly what it said it would do, did it flawlessly.

Pros

I love that I can see when my emails are being viewed. It makes it easy to see how many times and who is viewing.

Cons

there have been a few issues this past year where contact monkey was not working. After having the ability to see emails that were opened it was difficult to work without!

Pros

Tracking my opens and clicks is the most obvious feature that I like. It is very user friendly also.

Cons

I would like it even better if it gave me more information such as a report on all of the opens and clicks.

Cons

logging in. it seems to miss emails when not logged in. I dont think it is capturing my phone emails

Contact Monkey is an extremely simple platform that works for the most part in the background of my daily operations. That being said, don't confuse simplicity with lack of value as it is crucial to saving me hours by tracking and logging emails.

Cons

Contact Monkey sometimes will seem to need some extra clicks to get an email to log thru the sidebar on Outlook.

Very helpful to keep track of open and unopened emails. Definitely helpful when it comes to accounts receivable.

Cons

doesn't track forwarded emails and is hard to track group emails as far as when and if they were opened.

Positive! Solid 8/10. The one con I have listed is rather large to me, personally, but might not be to others. Overall, I think it's a fantastic and solid tool for internal communications, branding, and consistency!

Pros

I love the ability to create different templates for various types of communications. The ability to customize and include branding for a uniform and official look is great! It's also awesome how you can track opens and sent emails through ContactMonkey so you know what type of response your communications are getting.

Cons

I really dislike how you if you sign into a different email account, ContactMonkey will begin tracking that email. For example, if I'm checking my personal email on my lunch break, I have to open an incognito window to avoid ContactMonkey from tracking that email account as well. I'd much prefer that it was more permission-based for individual email accounts vs. having it able to access any email you sign into.

Pros

Overall simplicity is great and when I do a large emailing, I like that it generates a % of how many were opened and I can track who actually looked at my email.

Cons

Why does it show an email being opened multiple times? One of my co-workers said that if they delete an email right before my email that it appears that mine was opened again-is that correct?

Somedays it works and other days it does nothing. When your request the Raw Data it is not complete.

Able to track mass emails that I usually send weekly or monthly with the ability to see if attachments and hyperlinks have been opened /looked at

Cons

When I first open Outlook I have to sometimes prompt it to open to the " get started" page and I'm unable to tell if any emails were just deleted.
