A very solid chat support platform that is easy and quick to implement with wordpress and has some impressive features even at the free tier.

Pros

A very clean interface, decent desktop app and easy integration with wordpress sites. Also has a larger feature set than many other comparable website helpdesk/chat apps.

Cons

There are some instances where Tawk has slowed our website page loading speeds down. Some alternative options are lighter and don't affect performance as much.

Tawk. to has provided us with a higher level of automation in our customer service process, which has allowed us to reduce response times to our customers, in addition to being able to cover a much larger audience.So, every time customers want to ask a question, they simply decide to access the link that we have provided in our mobile or web APP and start effective communication when our agents are online, or carry out a registration process for a request in mode offline. On the other hand, Tawk.to has interesting features within the platform, such as making annotations in each chat, the ability to view a timeline, printing chat content directly for further processing, and much more.

Pros

Tawk.to is excellent when it comes to interacting directly with our customers from our website or mobile application since we maintain constant interaction for a better customer experience, and all this information is available on the administrative platform, which in addition to being able to Record each of the chats, generate information for analysis and statistical treatment.Its dashboard is quite complete and allows us to view, for example, the number of chats carried out during the day and week, the number of responses, visits from our clients, and multiple monitoring reports, in addition to recording each chat in detail, and it even allows us to record comments to clarify doubts in a later analysis.

Cons

Tawk.to is a very complete online/offline chat and is widely used for both Web environments and mobile APPs, however, it is important to consider that the human factor is still invaluable, since for example, if we have logged into the administrative platform, it will depend on us to have an effective response time and communication that generates value for that client.

Did the job for what we needed, but we moved to a more comprehensive tool in the end. Ui was old and great.

Pros

Notifications were clear and loud. Did what it said on the tin, never had any problems. Ui seemed a bit old

Cons

Didn’t connect into other apps as welll as alternatives. The notification sound whilst good, was very annoying.

Very easy to register as a client of the tool, a simple integration process for mobile APP and maintenance tasks that allow detailed customization based on our needs and business rules.

Pros

Tawk.to has a fairly complete interactive panel for the client and allows us to provide valuable information about visitors, in chats and page views, through graphs and historical analysis. It also integrates with different third-party applications and platforms such as WordPress, which is widely used by most implementations.

Cons

I think that the price factor is important, and possibly tawk.to should reduce the prices a bit as new platforms appear on the market every day so it is important to stay competitive. On the other hand I am not sure if the implementation of this platform could create a feeling of slowing down the site, so we must test this a little more in detail.

Pros

Tawk.to is a great option for handling client chats and quick questions right from our web projects. It is affordable, has useful messaging features, and is easy to set up; thus, I can embed it on client sites and monitor conversations for our development team without a problem.

Cons

Learning every feature takes time, and I've hit occasional bugs that disrupt the chat flow. Security settings need to be checked regularly, and message or email routing for projects of larger scope will require more manual effort, maybe more than on more major chat platforms.

Overall, the experience isn't bad. Since there is no cost and integrates well with our website, it's a winner. Honestly, I can't remember a time when Tawk.to was not working or had issues.

Pros

It integrates well with our website. Best of all, it's free. There are pay options that include a virtual assistant or a real life assistant.

Cons

The notifications could be better. There's really no way to configure notifications other than "on" or "off".

Pros

Tawk. to was an easy plug-in to our site. We primarily use it for inbound order questions and post-shipping support. The real-time chat, makes our customers feel like their’s someone on the other end, even though our ops team is small.

Cons

Advanced in-box integrations like CRM or ERP sync are missing. We had to create a manual system for tracking certain chats for internal follow-up.

Pretty good. It was a good starting point for us offering live chat to our customers and without removing the branding and paying for the service having a free option to chat to customers on our site was valuable.

Pros

The live chat solution was easy to use and fairly fluid as an experience for the customer. It was also free to use.

Cons

IT was less adaptable to our company branding than we wanted it to be, so whilst it was a great entry into live chat as a free product, it did have limitations.

It has helped us cut our response times down, and we’ve caught some leads that might’ve otherwise bounced. We have converted casual questions into real bookings just by being available when someone is browsing. For a customer-facing job like mine, that live connect matters a lot.

Pros

Tawk. to very easy to keep in touch with people visiting our website. I like that I can manage multiple chats at once, observe what people are typing before they hit send and pitch in with canned replies when it’s busy. It feels direct and personal, and customers respond to it.

Cons

Notifications are sometimes inconsistent when I haven’t had the browser tab open, I missed a couple of incoming chats. And having the mobile app is useful but not as quick to toggle between multiple conversations.

We have been able to increase our "real world" presence on our web site, offering support and sales guidance to users when they need it most -- when they actually have a question. The low-footprint, web-based solution is very easy to install and quite easy to use (in most areas), and it provides visibility into the efficacy of our web pages and sites.

Pros

With a short script include into our web site and a simple desktop application to install, we have instant visibility into who is currently trolling out web site (and from where), and our customers have instant access to a simple chat solution right from any of our web pages. In the age of instant gratification, we are able to answer questions instantly for customers and turn them from browsers into buyers. We also have the ability to provide after-purchase support, which extends the reach of this system.

Cons

There are some oddities in the desktop UI that get annoying from time to time. For example, if you are monitoring two web sites and happen to miss a chat request from one site, the interface doesn't show you that missed call -- unless you happen to have that web site selected. The result is that a user question may have been posted that you don't see for days, which makes you look unresponsive at times.

I have really have anything negative to say about the software. It does exactly as it is suppose to and more. The list of features you can use on both the free and paid version is great!

Pros

The software is easy to setup, and gives you a whole new level of customer/supplier interaction. A requirement in my opinion.

Cons

It can be quite confusing when setting it up on a Wordpress multi-store.

Reason for choosing tawk.to

It had a high popularity among similar websites, and I can understand why. Also the simplicity of it is brilliant, as not everyone is tech-savy.

It's a great freemium tool for small businesses starting out to manage their live chat support with customers on their websites and this helped me save money and also made it easy to hardly miss out on customer chats.

Pros

It has a friendly interface easy and the option of shortcuts makes it easy to use. Being able to track visitors live on my website was a blessing because it helped me understand the visitor journeys on my website and possible pain points in the buying process. Also, chatting with live visitors on my phone with the mobile app made it easy to be constantly available. I loved the fact that we could also personalize the brand for my business making it a lot more acceptable.

Cons

It's free but not completely free. You have to pay about 19$ per month to completely remove the tawk.to branding.

Tawk.to is an amazing tool for live chat, it enable me to save chat templates and use it conveniently when answering the same questions for multiple customers. It allow our customers to reach out to us easily and faster without having to send email or even call us.

Pros

It is very easy to set up and understand, it has all the features I need, it also give the leverage of another agent to whisper some clue about what the customer want. That is a plus for me.

Cons

The only problem I experienced with tawk.to is the moment you are not active on that page after a while it log you out or you even miss a chat and I have to keep refreshing the page to ensure I do not miss any chat.

1st and foremost. It's free! I get notified every time some one visits my sight and i can see all the pages they navigate to. It's great!

Cons

I wish it kept a lot of visits like it does for chats. Would be great to keep up with repeat visitors, times of day, visited pages, referring link and location of visitor.

Tawk.io allows me to customize the chat bubble, see in real time what people are typing before hitting send so I know what si on their mind. It recognizes new vs return users and you can set up page specific messaging to increase conversions.

Cons

I had a web developer deploy it and it took time to get the setting right and the messaging correct, but after that it's pretty easy to use.

Pros

I used it for a long time under the free version, which does the job. It helped me to increase my sales and to upgrade the user experience, and support.

Cons

It happens from time to time, that the solution is crashing, it shows multiple empty visitors, or you are unable to see the chat history. The availability is my main concern. I decided to switch to premium service when my business was more mature. I recommend the service for the initial building of the sales funnel and customer support, when you have limited funding.

Since I started using Tawk, this application has made it much easier for me to communicate with the people who enter im my website in a more efficient way, which has increased my sales because people have been totally satisfied with the attention provided by Tawk.

Pros

For me, Tawk is the most effective live chat program at the moment. This software has helped me a lot for my E-commerce page because I have been able to respond faster to my customers, it has also helped me solve problems or answer questions they have, so that the customer feels completely satisfied and well served and in turn to make sales, plus it is super easy to use.

Cons

I think Tawk made our lives easier, I cannot think about any dislikes at this moment, But I would like to keep the conversations abandoned by customers in the software data for a longer period of time, just that.

It works, it can be easily customized, it is very easy to be in contact with our possible clients and to answer to all those who just need information. It can be installed very quickly trough plug-ins and it's something that can be done in a couple of minutes without a knowledge of coding or whatsoever.

Pros

I liked most that it's free but super professional! When I needed help there was always an assistant via live chat available and the problem was solved in a few minutes.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to use it on a mobile. I prefer using the desktop version when I'm at work because it works perfectly but some colleagues who go round and need the mobile version had some difficulties.

Pros

As the individual in charge of maintaining contact with consumers looking on/requesting information on our website, tawk.to has made the communication both parties seamless. Not only are you able to notice guests looking at your site in real-time, you are able to observe the text that they are preparing to send to you as they write it... allowing extra time as the company to respond with a proper and successful response. Statistics involving location, time, and IP are added benefits when studying visiting consumers.

Cons

There are hardly any negatives about tawk.to. The chat software is simple, non-intrusive, and ready to be of use when need be. The only negative, which should be taken with a grain of salt as it is such a minor detail, is that the incoming text of the consumer can occasionally come in sporadically, or a brief one or two second time pause between existing and currently being written text. This results in a quick jump in the conversation. Again, however, this is the worst experience that you may encounter.

Pros

As a developer, tawk.to is the website I use most to integrate livechat into my clients' websites. What's more, thanks to its plugin, it's easy to integrate into Wordpress websites.

Cons

On low-performance computers, I've already missed a livechet after a certain period of computer inactivity.
