After trying so many different live support programs, I decided to go with Tawk.to. The free plan has so many premium features such as ticketing, triggers and shortcuts. They put deep thought into the user experience of both the live support agent and the customer, and have an amazing mobile app that goes along with their web-based app.

Pros

My favorite feature is that I can easily take over conversations from my agents even when I am on the go with their mobile app. They have also added the support ticketing system where my agents can escalate certain customer concerns to me if they are unable to resolve them.

Cons

Canned notifications cannot be edited via the mobile app. It will be nice to have this feature because sometimes I might need to make edits on the fly.

Pros

Truly completly free chat software. Great ease of use and very complete. Can't think of any missing features. No limit's other than a little branding on the free software!

Cons

I've a really hard time thinking about cons, maybe the app for operators could be improved.

And the greatest deal? It if for FREE! If yo wanted to hire agents to look after your site visitors tawk.to has "chat agents for hire".

Cons

I think tawk.to has provided me with what I really needed for the client's demand. So have no problem with this software.

Pros

Ever since we've been using tawk.to on our site, we've recorded massive leads over time. The software is easy to use and to set up with lots of great features like adding other members of a department to join a conversation among other things. I simply love it!

Cons

I think agents shouldn't have to go on the tawk.to website to be online on their own website. An easier way should be created for this purpose.

Tawk.to has filled a staffing gap for us by allowing us to do support from anywhere at any time. It has expanded our client base and allowed for more productivity and customer satisfaction.

Pros

I love that I can use it anywhere I have a device. I can answer questions on my website that customers and potential customers need to know. I have been able to save a ton of time by answering multiple live chats at a time and providing support, eliminating a staffing gap that we had.

Cons

Sometimes it can get a little buggy and ping my device multiple times, especially if I am on a mobile hotspot. I think it is mostly due to connectivity issues and not directly with the software.

I function as backup to our sales team when it comes to the live chat on our website, so I do not pick up every chat that comes in. Instead, I pick up any chats that occur when all of my colleagues are busy. For my role, Tawk.to works perfectly. I can easily answer questions and use pre-configured responses when appropriate.

Pros

I can easily see how many people are on our website, initiate chats with them, and respond to chats that a person has started on their own.

Cons

We do have the occasional problem of the desktop app crashing when you haven't been using it all day, but a quick restart of the program completely fixes it. I know that Tawk.to are looking it, so I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Pros

Tawk is a free to use website Live Chat Platform where I can message my website visitors and solve their queries on the spot. I have an education institute for which I use it and I usually initiate chats with the visitors which in most of the cases turns in to leads.

Cons

As such there is nothing that I dislike about Tawk.to

Pros

Most lightweight chatbot for websites and apps, loaded with so many features for free. So many things like visitors page views, location is tracked for free. which is not available in most of the chatbot.

Cons

Suppose I am chatting with someone over the tawk.to, now if I switch to other tabs and wait for few minutes and comeback to tawk chatbox, it gets disconnected. and the chat gets end, this is a biggest issue.

Great experience but app can be frustrating at times. Can’t complain for the free use of it and beats HubSpot and others by a big margin!

Pros

It’s a powerful free web chat tool that makes it easy for customers to message you through your website. It’s feature rich and has an app. I like the web notifications too and email if people chat as well as the app notification.

Cons

Logs me out of the app often and I feel the app could also be improved a bit

Pros

It primarily includes everything needed for a live chat function. It can be easily integrated into websites. You don't need to be a programmer to use this tool. It also monitors the real and live visitors of a web page.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike for me. The application is perfect for its purpose. I just hope they can have a paid version so as to compete with Zendesk Chat.

Pros

Used to be a easy to use customer facing chat platform to communicate with customers. Makes it easier to connect without having to get them on the phone. Easy to multitask.

Cons

Recent updates have a lot of glitches. Frequently have to restart the program due to not being able to open the chats or resize. If they could fix this, it would be back to being an amazing software.

I use tawk.to for one of my Australian clients and the free basic tool itself is really good. It allows you to converse with prospects and clients seamlessly. Even the basic features are really superb. I would recommend it to start-ups who wants to have a chat app tool integrated to their website.

Cons

Tawk.to can actually do better by adding more premium features like auto responses to common inquiries.

Any missed chats are converted into emails so we do not forget about anything.I am also interested in some chatbot options and automatic replies, this is what I need to investigate, but it seems the functionality is there.

Pros

Users comes to our website and sometimes wish to talk to someone, this alone could greatly impact your business. Being able to connect with your users and answering their questions goes a long way in boosting their confidence in whatever you have to offer. Easy to install and get going.

Pros

Easy to install and enables site visitors to quickly communicate with site admins. Can add custom fields to the form so that the query can be routed straight to the relevant admin.

Cons

Offline messages can be anonymous without the user realising so although they try to contact us we can't reply and if they don't realise it's their mistake it looks bad on the website.

It's just not the best, we use it because it gives us good value for a cheaper price, but it's not consistent in how it handles things like notifications.

Pros

It's an easy enough chat system to implement on websites and set up to look how you want without being invasive. It gives you the ability to talk live without having to integrate or download any software because it's right in the browser. It does exactly what it says it does, but that's where the benefits end.

Cons

The notifications are inconsistent, and if you aren't monitoring it 24/7 you will miss people talking to you. REsponding to someone hours after they tried to message isn't possible, and even if they leave you an email most of the time it's a missed conversation that you will never get contact to. This is great and also part of what chat systems online suffer from, but this one seems even worse. Even if you have it set up to notify your email it feels like the notifications might not come until hours after they've messaged, and then you've missed a prospect.

I like this app so far, it's free and helps me a lot to communicate with my website visitor.

Pros

The first one it's free and with a free plan, it just works perfectly with my small business. I can chat with multiple visitors at the same time which is very good. I use Wordpress based website and it's so easy to install and set up this app. I also can see from which country they are from.

Cons

The chat notification seems delayed for 2 to 4 minutes, sometimes it keeps kicking me from the chat and the dashboard is so confusing for newbie or non-techinal people.
