Tawk accomplished the goal of adding chat support to my website without costing me any money to deploy it.

Pros

I like that there is a free version that allows chat support to your website like a pro.

Cons

I don't like the customer service but then again can you really complain about the free stuff?

Pros

free to use simple dashboard easy to install browser and desktop application available shortcodes available for quick reply solves the purpose

Cons

Android app sometimes miss the notification sound, due to which the new chat message is missed. Another issue is that for a new user the chat trigger maybe look a little difficult to configure

Pros

They are free for unlimited agent. Their chat widgets are nice and interesting.

Cons

Backend UI can be enhanced a bit. It is bit cluttered on the backend.

Can't beat the price! Tawk.to's basic plan is free and works great. If you don't need a lot, this is the way to go.

Cons

Some of the features are limited since it's a free software. You get what you pay for though, so upgrade it if you need anything else.

I have a nice overall experience of using tawk.to We use to it to insert a chat box on selected pages of our website and it's working well. It gives us another way to provide assistance to our customers on key pages.

Pros

The free option is really complete. You can customize your chat boxes, upload your own images and brand, etc. The small "powered by Tawk.to" crest is not intrusive at all.

Cons

At the beginning it was the lack of features, but we can see that the developing team are working hard as updates come. So for now it's pretty much complete for a simple usage of a small business. I'm not sure if it's suited well for big entreprise.

Pros

This software allows me to interact with my students from their LMS as if they are sending me a text message. It alerts me when visitors are on the site and allows me to comment in real time. The interface is easy to navigate and everything is explained on your screen for ease of use and the best part is you get the most important features FOR FREE!

Cons

Nothing. I think that this is a great software and I would highly recommend it.

Overall, Tawk.to has served it's purpose for us despite some frustration set backs with kicking me out of the app in the middle of the chat.

Pros

It was a free software that allowed us to add chat communication to our website. Tawk.to was easy to add to our website as well. Being able to jump into the middle of coworkers chats to assist or just whisper to them is great as well. Another good feature is the tawk.to app. So if you're looking for a cheap way to add this type of functionality to your site, it's worth it.

Cons

It needs to refresh the dashboard constantly. It has also kicked me out of the app in the middle of chats with potential customers.

Pros

We have been testing and using tawk.to since it was released. It is very easy to set up, configure and use. The android and iOS apps work really well too. We have seen increased sales since implementing this system. It's incredible that they offer it for free.

Cons

It would be nice if we had more control over the look of talk bars. It's also annoying when the system drops every so often. But both are minor niggles.

We settled Tawk to for chatting with our customers because when they have an urgent question it becomes time efficient.

Pros

With the free plan, it includes three agents for a customer service team which is great considering Tidio's offer. Besides you can check whether user looking at your webpage with the proxy or from where you have guests. Also, reporting features help you to understand your target audience.

Cons

Sometimes the software gives the notifications lately. Even though the free plan is great but paid subscriptions are expensive. Customization is not well arranged.

### "Perfect solution for chat on your website"

Pros

The instant conversation that has been made available to our constituents has greatly affected our communication with them. We love the feature of being able to see what pages they are navigating to while chatting with us. We also like the offline message feature that is available when no employee is available to chat.

Cons

It lacks a simple backend user interface. When we have trained some of our employees to use it, there has been a learning curve. Some of the language that is used is very ambiguous. For example, when chatting, you select Online, Away, or Invisible. To be honest, I'm still not positive about the difference between away or invisible. It could use some simplicity on the backend interface.

It has very good characteristics. I can see the message of the user while he is writing, to know in which country he is, with what device, where the user is browsing and I can associate several chats to the same account.

Cons

In principle, it took me a while to configure the application, add several accounts and track them. This could be a bit more intuitive

Free chat service.

Pros

A free chat service and allows you to run multiple chats at once and set up some triggers and has decent features.

Cons

The notifications never work unless you are logged in on a computer and paying attention. The mobile app would constantly log me out, and would never alert me to new chats, causing us to miss multiple chats at lose business.

fast integration with word press short & fast learning curve it's just minutes & you get your live chat ready at your site you can customize widget color & triggers messages also my client use branding addons i like their mobile app to manage members & admin you can reply to messages & chats from the app you get notification in real time almost internal web site tracking for visitors & page views

It is great to provide support to our customers, it is one of the best chat tools today we can use it for free with many features.

Pros

Taw.to is an excellent tool to provide support to our customers through our website, it is very easy to install and configure and we can also integrate it into CMS like wordpress, joomla, magento and others. By downloading the App we can also answer chat from our mobile device.

Cons

I really do not have anything bad to say about this software, only that sometimes it shows small flaws I have to restart the browser so that it works correctly again.

It's a great free chat tool that does the job really well. It's definitely not the sleekest tool on the market, but it does the job.

Pros

Price is by far the most attractive part of Tawk.to in the age where competing products cost hundreds of dollars Tawk manages to offer something of comparative quality absolutely for free.

Cons

The design of available chat widgets is a bit outdated and doesn't quite compare with competition.

Tawk.to is by far my favorite live customer support method. It is very easy to use, highly customizable, mostly free, 100% uptime, stable, easy to integrate, cross-platform support, etc. Tawk.to boasts of a robust feature pack, ranging from cross-platform apps to always be connected to chat server, to easy-to-make pre-chat forms, website visitor location, navigation, spent time, auto chat initiation, etc. Minimal payment is made to remove the logo watermark which hardly looks intruding at all, and contract support staff is also available for a token.

Cons

Usually, after building pre-chat forms, form fields sometimes do not display after being filled by a user the first time.

Pros

I love this free program. It also has an app for your phone which allows you to stay connected even on the go. This program allows me to help.customers with any orders or product questions before they order. I've found a lot more ppl visit our website rather than call so this still allows me to stay connected with our customer base with the added convenience of not having to call.

Cons

No really cons I can think of. A suggestion would be a time schedule that you can coordinate with business hours instead of having to log on or off each time.

Pros

If you are paying for live chat services on your website then you need to check out Tawk.to it's completely free and without limits. I was expecting it to be very basic but that is not the case at all, there is so much rich functionality and customisation in the platform it is brilliant. Since we have put this in place we have seen an instant increase in sales and repertoire with our customers, we just wish we had done it sooner.

Cons

We would love it if the agents name and image was displayed larger on the trigger messages for website visitors to see so that they can see that it is a real person talking to them rather than an automated website pop up.
