Overall, it is a decent chat tool for my website and I will continue using it.

Pros

I like that the tool is free to use for chat on my website. I can see my customers' activity on my site in real time.

Cons

The tool isn't as robust of a chat tool as some of the other tools on the market. It lacks some integrations that I would like.

Pros

With a single account, I can monitor all the chats that are in different domains. It allows me to assign roles to members, know which countries users write to me and customize their design. It is wonderful!

Cons

At first, it is not easy to understand the operation of the chat and the options in the left sidebar. The application is really excellent, but it can be a bit more intuitive

Very happy customer, already recommending it a lot. I'm not a programmer and I don't like to read long tutorials to manage my websites, this one was easy to set up, and the more amazing the connectivity, instant

Pros

I can't believe how easy was to set it up in my website, how easy and simple is the app, and how well works! The connection is instantaneous. I love it! I rarely write reviews but I had to find a way to shout to the world, that if you need a chat service for your site, this is it!. I'm using the free version but would gladly pay later if I need some of the other features they offer. Congratulations for a great user friendly software, wish everything in the world will work like this.

Cons

The image for the chat can't be customize, there is only 2 options, at least in the free version I'm using.

I can't complain especially that the app is free and it does what it promises to do.

Pros

It's free. It's functional and it's elegant! You can manage more than one chat interface from one account and you can customize the look and feel of each instance of the chat bot. It loads quickly and the visitor interface is amazing and responsive. I also love the mobile version which helps me stay online even when I'm not in the office.

Cons

It loads fast but not fast enough. Sometimes it slows my website loading time a tad. Not a big deal but can be improved. Also having some AI would be awesome, like a robot to answer a certain question and if it fails to help the visitor, the visitor would speak to a human.

For a small company, the free plan is just enough to offer customers great live customer support.

Pros

It is completely free to use (no hidden cost). Clients can create tickets through Tawk.to which is very handy. They have apps for mobile and PC, which makes answering efficient and easy. Overall, they are pretty reliable.

Cons

Spam-wise they are not doing a very good job. I had customers sending pictures of themselves and other random things. I don't know if there is much to do about that. When left unattended it becomes idle pretty quickly.

Pros

It allows for some degree of design customization (color, shape, size of chat window, etc) in terms of how it plugs into the website, it has nice integrations where it can show you usernames, and it lets you see what people are typing before they send it to you.

Cons

You cannot customize the placement of the chatbot on a given webpage beyond the 4 corners of a given page, the mobile app for managing incoming chats is rather clunky and is not great at indicating if someone already took care of something.

Pros

For me one of the best live chat, it is easy to install and the configuration is super simple, it also has user control and its back end is quite complete, it describes the user's data very well.

Cons

It is a good tool if you want interactivity with the users of your website, but the free version does not have advanced functions so you will have to pay some of your plans, the costs are considerable, although the quality of the service is worth it.

Save money, basically.

Pros

Easy to install on any website. Manage multiple websites / chat in the same panel. Free multiple operators for any chat.

Cons

The problem for me is that you can't send and active chat to another operator. There is no way to transfer a chat.

Overall, Tawk.to is a very solid webchat software. We have not experienced much difficulty conversing with our customers. I hope they stay FREE.

Pros

Aside from the name, being so catchy and all. tawk.to gave our website a very personalized feel because we now can chat with our customers. They even have a mobile app so you can be ONLINE even when outside. Perfect for business woman like myself who are always on the go.

Cons

Maybe the least liked about the software is that sometimes we noticed there are TEXT displayed on our website that comes from the program itself. There are no errors, but on desktop, it appears quite a few times.

Pros

I love your dashboard has many tools to have the follow-up of the chat and the answers of the clients, it has very good options for the configuration and personalization of the chat.

Cons

the mobile application does not have the same options as the web, I think premium plans cost a bit, but it's worth it for the service and the features they offer.

Free Chat = nice enhancement to our website

Pros

Allowed us to quickly deploy a lightweight, free chat application to answer questions about applications to environmental awards. We are not IT experts by any means but we were able to get this configured into Wordpress in under 5 minutes. The "chat agent" notifications worked well. We also found the mobile apps and embedded data analytics/reporting useful.

Cons

Our use case was very straightforward - so we did not run into too many limitations. Perhaps we would have more negative feedback IF we were trying to handle scenarios like tons of concurrent users trying to chat with us, etc.

It has allowed me to have a conversation flow with users and clients directly through the store's website, in addition to other sites where I share the chat link

Pros

First, it is free. Second, it is very easy to use and has the possibility to use it with different agents, tempting as administrators as well as users. Third, you can create quick responses and shortcuts to standardize responses to customers. Fourth, you can have detailed reports of the activity.

Cons

I could only point out a weakness so far in my personal experience, which is integration with massive use platforms like WhatsApp, it would be ideal.

We were able to install online chat to 4 sites in one day and easily set up and train teams to manage chats. This is no bot, so customers will be happy to be able to speak to a real person. If no employees are available, like 3rd shift hours, it's easy to set tawk.to to send an email so that employees can check for questions as soon as they get in to work in the mornings.

Pros

Tawk.to is the simplest online chat application I've ever installed to a website. It's admin is also very intuitive, even if you are managing multiple businesses with multiple sites.

Cons

I can't think of any cons, it's really a great tool. I wouldn't even be typing anything here except the review site requires cons.

Cons

It lacks the call service which I think it's a big deal when tracking some lost parcel.

Some of the functions are not too user-friendly in which you might need to do a few clicks and contact the TAWK CS team to find our how to use it, e.g. it was not too obvious on where to see all online agents

I think it seems to work well. Good for setting auto-replies if we don't make the chat in time. All around we like it.

Cons

I don't like that it doesn't keep you logged in and that the email reminder for missed chats comes in quite late.

Pros

I like that you can integrate it with a Wordpress website so you can easily touch base with current or potential clients from anywhere on your website.

Cons

What I like least is that sometimes I do not get notifications that someone has messaged me and miss out on an opportunity to talk to them!
