December 2, 2022 5.0 Pros The applicant tracking system is laid out logically, giving a quick view of applicant progress, new communication received and which job listing the applicant is interested in. The built in, automatic workflows allowing pre-filled templates to be texted or emailed at various stages in the hiring process are crucial and have saved our team a tremendous amount of time not having to manually confirm interviews, orientations, etc. Cons The only negative we've experienced, which was quickly fixed, was a miscommunication in who's initial responsibility it was to sponsor our job listings to Indeed through the Apploi software. We experienced an initial decrease in applicants and discovered the listings were not sponsored. Once we sponsored the listings, which is very easy to do through Apploi, our applicants activity increased. Alternatives considered [Hireology](https://www.capterra.com/p/224301/Hireology/) Reason for choosing Apploi We liked Hireology and the integration with Apploi but our budget wouldn't allow us to do both and we didn't see the value in moving forward with Hireology. It does operate with Wellsky, though we don't really use that aspect of Apploi, because it is faster to do the work through Wellsky. Apploi has a lot of drawbacks, but if you need responses to a job posting, Apploi usually provides them, and that's why we use it again and again. Pros We seldom have few replies; we are usually blessed with an abundance. Yes, it is sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I'd rather have a haystack full of a few good needles, than no needles at all. We have hired many good quality applicants through Apploi. Cons It has difficulty catching up. It's a slow system and it can't keep up with you if you're in a hurry, and we're always in a hurry. There needs to be a better way to weed out applicants when they don't have the right qualification, or at least when there is nothing on their resume but their name! Reason for choosing Apploi Pricing and b/c it was interactive with Wellsky. I receive many more qualified candidates than I received thru any other platform and Apploi is also very budget friendly. In a world where turnover is the rule rather than the exception, Apploi has been a lifesaver. Cons I have no issues with Apploi but would suggest that perhaps we could rate applicants for future reference . It does what it's supposed to on a high level. In the very unusual instances where an issue comes up, the customer service I get from my rep \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is so quick and efficient, I don't dread the rare issues that come up. When a new function is introduced, I get a heads up and offered a quick and simple training. The intuitive interface and ease of use is what really sets this system apart from the others. Pros the user interface is so well though out, it's really easy to locate and navigate the software, because even if you're using a new function that you haven't used before, you can figure out on your own where to click and where to go. It's really intuitive. Cons If we post a job ad on Apploi that for some reason does not pass the job ad site's censors, we are not alerted that the job ad isn't posted. For example, if you post a job ad with terminology Indeed does not approve of, such as click bait terminology, you will not be alerted that the job ad was rejected by Indeed. It makes my job way easier as I assist with staffing. it keeps me organized as well. Pros I love how it posts to so many different platforms and we get higher traffic in applicants. Cons I do not like when I am making an ad that if the job description/ Question template is not saved, I have to open a new page instead of it refreshing without losing any information I had put into the ad already. We were able to upload our application within the platform so that our applicants did not have to fill one out at the building. We get to track onboarding process and verify licenses. Our employees love the software! Pros We love the ease of use and clarity with finding the right information needed and the way messages are automated, making our job so much easier. Cons We aren't able to reach anyone over the phone for support although it's not needed very often. We've had to do numerous edits to our onboarding docs to make them more functional, but the Apploi team was able to get it right. I have used other programs in the past, and Apploi is my favorite. I would recommend it to my collogues. My HR manager has everything she needs at her fingertips to manage employment needs at the facility. I can log on at any time to see new applicants and view their resumes. Pros I can see all vacant jobs in one area. I can see any communications from applicants. Its a great option for me to keep track of applicants. Cons Nothing. Pros The ability to view, research applicants for specific positions. The ability and ease to schedule appointments. Notes can be added. The interview schedule for each at is at a glance. This program is user friendly and highly recommended. Cons Sometimes it buffers and I can't access the program. I have to exit and re-open several times. Cons We somehow get on African job boards - and I get too many applications from clearly non viable sources. October 17, 2017 5.0 Pros Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Apploi so far. The setup was quick and straightforward, the platform is clean and easy to use and customer service has been no-nonsense, helpful and organised. As a HR Manager of a small but growing multi-site operation it has been a great way to bring more structure to the hiring process. I really like the video question element of the platform, which has been particularly useful for screening our Front of House Team Members and Managers. The sliding time availability sections are also very useful. The applications are presented in a standardised and clear way making it easy to review the candidates. I particularly like how you can download applications to pdf and it saves as the candidates name (I'm easily pleased!). The question templates are easily updated which makes the system adaptable and responsive. Posting to multiple job boards is quick and easy. The platform feels more intuitive, clean and modern that some of the other platforms on the market, for a reasonable price. The customer service has also been particularly good and similarly \`modern; the team are no-nonsense, helpful and very organised. They have been quick to respond to any challenges, queries and ideas for improvement and development. The team has worked with our website developers to integrate a live jobs page there. Cons An initial concern is that the overall number of applications that we have received has decreased, but anecdotally it would seem that the quality of the applications has increased. We are getting a good response for Front of House Team Members, but fewer Managers and chefs. The team at Apploi have worked with me to increase the number of applications we're getting. While the functionality is good, there are a few things that it would be useful to have in addition. However the team has been keen to work with us to add some of the functionality that we would find particularly useful, and I also recognise that we aren't paying the much larger price tag of some of the more full blown applicant tracking systems. It’s a carefully thought out program and there’s nothing I can think of that I would add. Pros Apploi’s customer service is just a text message away. I can leave a message for one of their many helpful and knowledgeable agents and continue on with my work. In less than two hours they always respond! Cons Apploi checks all the boxes.
