Comments: There are a lot of ATS systems out there. Look for a good one that can grow with your company. ICIMS charges for everv new technology they put out there, social media, website upgrades. They bank on you being captive since it is difficult to migrate to a new system.

Pros: ICIMS is a very robust system and has alot of capabilities, add-ons and overall functionality. It is highly configurable and allows you to add custom fields. There is a reporting feature that allows you to select specific report data and save the report for future. Additionally, libraries will store your requisitions, and other position information for easy reference through foldering capabilities. Tracks email communication through your outlook system, to capture both sides of the email conversation. Additionally, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to get to learn the system.

Cons: They didn't have a direct feed through Indeed and our positions were picked up randomly and after several days. Additionally, requisitions are difficult to post, show up with multiple fonts (even after various attempts at editing, which is a poor representation of your company.) ICIMS is very difficult for EEO/AAP reporting. Our standard reports didn't work well for this at all. Customer service is very hit or miss, some are really great, and others don't know the system at all. Account representatives are the same way, we just left them, due to their lack of interest to help us update the system set up after 10 years of use. There are alot of custom programming required to implement changes, and they didn't implement updates with the new DOL requirements. We had to ask for the new EEO forms for VEVVRA and Disability reporting requirements.

Not very intuitive at all.

Comments: I have been recruiting for over 20 years and have been using Applicant Tracking Systems for approximately 15 years exclusively on the corporate side with some of the largest tech firms in the world.

Pros: I don't really like much about this product. The candidate production is on par with other systems. It is quicker than other systems I have used....and that's about it.

Cons: It is not a user friendly product and I wonder how much they involved highly experienced. corporate recruiters in the functional design of the platform. There is a lot of wasted space and extra clicking that needs to be done. The system is not intuitive at all for a user. I have used Taleo quite a bit and found it to be much more compact in viewing candidates and their status. The search capabilities with ICMS are very hard to understand with their forms, filters, output templates, etc. I have to constantly go back to the instructions to figure out how to find jobs, particular hiring managers, etc. In addition I have had candidates on several occasions call me since they were having trouble uploading documents into the system. There are better systems or comparable systems available for less money. Each recruiter should't have to become a "super-user" in order to work in an ATS but that seems to be the case for ICMS.

Pros: What I like most about iCIMS is that their client service is by far some of the best I have ever encountered with a vendor. Anytime you need help their client support line is always available to help out and I have not had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so for an answer over the phone. Additionally, when you open a ticket with them on an issue you are having, they send you email correspondences for every update they have to share, which I appreciate because you are always in the know on how to move forward with issues you are having.

Cons: What I like least about iCIMS is that their focus is mainly as an applicant tracking system and not a full-service system that includes features like payroll, performance management, succession planning, etc. iCIMS has really mastered being a very reliable applicant tracking system, but they have room to improve moving forward as a full-service provider for companies.

Pros: The mobile portion from the candidate side of things was really exciting - given the social aspect of recruiting, having a mobile-friendly app is a big plus. iCIMS also makes it really easy for hiring managers to be more involved in the process - in many cases, moreso than other products on the market - this translates to more hires, more quickly, and a better ROI.

Cons: I found that while working with this product at a past employer, there were problems with resume population. While this is commonplace among several softwares, this is really what stuck out here (when a resume was drawn in, the auto-populated fields were consistently misplacing information). Where this became a significant problem, was when candidates/applicants would then have to go through and manually correct and populate/paste their job titles, employer names, dates and work duties into the correct boxes after uploading a resume that was supposed to do this for them. It reflected poorly on us as an employer, and through meeting hundreds of candidates both in/formally, I found that many had abandoned their applications entirely because of this.

Recommendations to other buyers: Spend a lot of time understanding what the candidate experience will be, and understanding the limitations of software (i.e. sometimes stating that only docx files can auto-populate properly means that you are better off having a resume emailed to you and manually entering it into the ATS than having candidates run through a frustrating experience). Also, take a look at how you can build out your process AROUND the ATS - iCIMS has a lot to offer in this respect!

iCIMS is a very modern, robust, and customizable ATS that should work well across many industries and organizations.

Comments: This is a great product. As someone who has experience with several large ATS platforms, there doesn't seem to be a single product that does everything, but this one seems to come the closest by far.

Pros: I really like that it can be easily customized to suit our needs, and can manage the recruitment pipeline for a wide variety of candidate types and requisitions. It also provides many data points and intuitive reporting capabilities. It has a nice, clean look and feel to the UI. They provide strong customer support whenever there are questions or issues. It integrates seamlessly with many other vendors and HR products.

Cons: They could make a few improvements. It feels like sometimes there are a few too many "clicks" required to drill down to the info needed. Also, it would be great if they could include a feature to view the "last viewed candidates," or "last viewed requisitions." It would help speed things up when trying to move quickly between multiple candidates and requisitions.

The support team is responsive and helpful.

Pros: I like the support and having a dedicated TAM. Additionally there is a lot an admin can configure. There are a lot of reference and training materials available online. Overall this software is easy to use and configure.

Cons: The forms are a bit clunky and are not easy to use. The forms are not visually appealing and it takes a while for updates. Additionally reports can be a bit touchy. Sometimes report data doesn't refresh as expected. The report data doesn't always dynamically update. If you make changes in the tool you have to remember to update the reports. You don't necessarily receive an error that the reports stopped working.

Overall: Enabled our hiring and onboarding process creating an easy visible way for candidates to reach us as well as automating the onboarding process.

Pros: The system is malleable enough to adjust to different process flows and offers enough "free fields" to allow for companies to track unique needs in handling data. Plenty of notes fields and calendar integration. Web based so it's portable and can be used by traveling hiring managers. Handling of resumes in the system is fast and efficient.

Cons: The reporting function can be cumbersome because you have to know what every field IS and what it is named, and what it does, to make an accurate report. Field Titles sometimes don't make sense. There is a lot of trial and error in the process to set up reports.

Overall: I have been involved in an iCIMS implementation from scratch and walking into a company already using the software. I found the system to be robust and a large portion of the time fairly easy to use. Training videos are a must for anything beyond basic usage.

Recommendations to other buyers: A library of field names, what they do, how they report and what they represent would be a great asset, especially if you could jump to it while in the reporting function. The new TAGS are GREAT! Really useful, have already created new tags and made shortcuts to lists of TAGGED candidates, great for sharing resumes, proposal work, etc.

Comments: - Great recruiting and onboarding tool to fit the needs of a mid-size organization. - Great value for the money spent.

Pros: - Exceptional customer service on all levels. - Working with customers to fit their budget. - System configuration flexibility. Lots of configuration tools available to the system admin on the front end. - Decent reporting. - Continues improvement of the product. - Work with customers to improve the product. Yes, you as a customer can influence development team to improve product features. - Customer oriented. "Can - Will do" attitude.

Cons: - Still need to improve reporting capabilities. Even though reporting is easy to use and reports can be fully automated, iCIMS still need to fork on developing tools for data correlation/query builder.

Pros: What I like most is the ease in creating and posting open jobs and recruiting for candidates through this platform. I also like the reporting features.

Cons: While it is robust in features, many of the uses and applications for our particular use are up to US to read about and try to implement. The Help Desk is there to assist but iCIMS really relies on the customer to be VERY active and knowledgeable, tech-savvy and solely focused on working in this system alone. My role is varied so it is difficult to keep up in this system with updates and new technology/features that are offered. As a result, we are not always 'up to the minute' with using the newest and greatest features.

Overall: Well, as a recruiting and applicant tracking tool, the benefits we receive are in these areas. One area where all electronic applicant/candidate files are kept and documented as they go through the process. The reporting from this is also quite helpful.

Pros: We're very pleased with the basic product and with the email support. Up time is like 99%; response time is usually solid. Features are good to great in most areas, and are regularly being advanced adn improved. seem to listen to most customer feedback and build on areas of suggestion -- like the major upgrade to knock out quetsions in the most recent built.

we use the system for unit and non, interns to executives, local to national field offices, and with one gaping hole, the product works very well.

Cons: the product has no email integration. so, candidate applies. i have a q for candidate. i send him an email out of icims. candidate answers that question? it comes to my email; it does not also come back to icims. as a result, i avhe an intern who spends 10 hours per week copying notes back into candidate profiles. notes aren't there in real time , things get missed or misplaced, etc. it's a very real weakness that has caused us to seriously consider changing platforms 3 times so far.

Other miss? the cost for certain integrations such as background checks, and certian iForms use, is ridiculously EXCESSIVE. If you plan to have them hosting a lot of forms and data collection, be sure you truly understand the costs upfront.

the itneraction with sites like monster is nice in theory, but it cannot take into account your job posting profiles, so you end up with a plain, flat job ad if you use the tools, and again they are fairly expensive.

Overall: Overall a GOOD tool. Great email response time and support and most customization is easy. implementation was a breeze, and setup was smooth. price is good when compared to other tools in the market.

Comments: We went with this product two years ago over Newton based on the customization of the applicant flow and reasonable price. Since then the price has inflated 750% as we had to add a "custom" document that was less cluttered meaning we had to pay to take things off a page of theirs. They approached us this year less than 30 days from renewal with a 230% price hike which I obviously do not have time to change products so I am stuck for another year. This will earn them this year, this wonderful review and then lose them the next year. Avoid this company.

Pros: Meets the needs as a ATS and allows to somewhat customize the applicant flow to match your organization.

Cons: Expensive and they ramp the price up later once they have you committed. Customer support is rather poor and we experienced a 48 hour complete outage earlier this year. The implementation was awful. Newton's implementation was more than iCIMS but apparently you get what you pay for.

Pros: I am a complete iCIMS fan on all fronts! iCIMS allows me to perform my job and maintain order with candidate flow, statuses, and I am currently creating a platform for hiring managers to manage consultants, including an automated iForm for the statement of work.

Cons: The Connect Talent Pools are evolving but they do not provide the full flexibility of Recruit. I am still gettting used to them but the fact I can create Talent Pools to refer to easily is very attractive.

Overall: iCIMS Recruit solves our Talent business problem by enabling us to quickly and easily post jobs to our sites and move candidates to jobs as well as perform its core function of maintaining a robust database of candidates.

Pros: I have lots of experience with recruiting platforms, both corporate and staffing environments. I love the ease of use, great functionality and it is highly configurable. The workflow components make it easy to scale a good process for efficiency and results.

Cons: I have used over 10 different ATS tools in my career and been part of implementing them all. With that said, there are none that are "perfect". This one is the closest. The calendaring/scheduling function is a bit clunky and needs more functionality especially self service.

Overall: Excellent performance, support and results from using this product in out Talent Acquisition process. We get results.

Pros: The system has a ton of functionality. Deep data, deep reporting. I really like the dashboard and how I was able to change it around based on my needs at that time.

Cons: It's not as intuitive as other tools I have used. There are several ways to go into workflows and they don't all lead to each other necessarily. The reporting is deep - but it's not easy to create reports. Once you have things established, it's solid - but getting there is a task. You'd need a full iCIMS administrator to really use the greatness this tool provides.

It's more expensive than other tools on the market.

Overall: Easy to use and took no time at all to submit a review.

Pros: We enjoy the organized dashboard views and its ability to be customized. We also enjoy the availability and customization of the workflow process that enhances our ability to manage a better time to fill, maximizing our recruiting team's time.

Cons: To format e-mail messaging in a better graphic format one must know a little HTML to make it better as the basic editing tool is more text driven.

Overall: We have achieved our initial TA goals with the use of iCIMS; expand our job advertisement reach, install a well managed candidate process that enhanced our candidate experience as well as improved our hiring manager experience, and to be come a data driven talent acquisition business unit.

We are building on our second set of initiatives of building a stronger applicant pipeline, increasing our communication with passive and engaged candidates, and manage recruiting events through iCIMS.

Comments: Watchfire Signs has been with iCIMS for about 3 years now. We previously did applicant tracking via spreadsheets, a dysfunctional access database, and paper files. (YIKES!) Our single installation manages candidates for everything from internships to VPs, from union to executives, and engineers, including people at field offices all over the US (no international). The implementation went smoothly and was fast because we didn't have a ton of data from other resources to bring into the system. The start up team was easy to work with. iCIMS is fairly easy to use, but in an effort to 'avoid clutter' they sometimes hide features in awkward places. Skills I'd like together on a single page are sometimes scattered about. Their help desk and esp email support are GREAT! Quick to respond, good clear answers, happy to assist with modifications, and an understanding of how a feature works. Very helpful. Sadly, their knowledge base that they shout loudly as the greatest support tool ever actually has very little data for skilled users. It seems to be mostly the help screens put into a slightly different format for beginners. The big gaping hole in the product is that it doesn't have email integration. So, if I want to ask a candidate a question, I do that out of iCIMS. When the candidate responds, it comes only to my outlook; also it does not go into his/her record inside iCIMS. The result? I have an intern, who's job 10 hours per week is to, update the candidate's records. We know not everything gets there and certainly not in a timely manner. They use a ticket tracker system to handle their customer service tickets, so they know how important this kind of functionality is, and hopefully they are looking at it to figure out how to merge it into their own product ASAP. We have nearly left iCIMS on three occasions to go to another product that has this functionality built in, but luckily we are too busy hiring to spend time researching a platform change.

Pros: Reporting and dashboard Customization is best in class

Reporting Speed, output, and scheduling are excellent

Customer Service team will rarely ever give up regardless of task difficulty

Cons: Lack of advanced filtering/reporting options

A funnel feature

Graphic dashboard option should be customizable

Should be able to merge search results. (if i use a person search based on a recruiter workflow criteria, i get too many duplicates with recruiting search)

More flexible any/all search conditions

Easier to search recruiting workflow history

Safe merging person profiles

Overall: I got my start in HR analytics.

Pros: Overall, I cannot say enough about the ease of use with the iCIMS applicant tracking system. Having demoed many other systems, nothing came close to the layout with iCIMS. Also, the customer service provided by all of the iCIMS representatives is outstanding. We have been able to fully customize are settings to our organization and iCIMS has been there every step of the way to help us.

Cons: I don't have any real cons with the iCIMS applicant tracking system besides the fact that it's only an applicant tracking system. I would love to see the company expand into other offerings.

Pros: It is easy to move resumes into the database. I liked the ability to send emails and to attach relevant documentation. Job submission was also useful. Disappointing that we weren't able to customize emails with our own custom signatures. A more functional integration with email would have induced me to work within the system more completely. When I had a major complaint about billing they did respond quickly and helped resolve my issue

Cons: Communication from sales and administration are quite poor. It has been both misleading and contradictory. Once the contract has been signed they seem to disappear. Navigation through the system is made difficult and not at all intuitive. Way to much function for small users. Contact terms are also rigid. Pages do not display full so action buttons are often out of view.

Recommendations to other buyers: Talk to actual users. The company is happy to sell you more system than you need. Look at several products first. Make sure that you have enumerated exactly what functionality you need.

Comments: if it gets you resumes like it should - I'd recommend it. The reporting is not as malleable as I'd like either..

Pros: easy to use, figure out, search jobs/candidates/users within the system. pretty user-friendly. it's nice that you can create a library of forms (you pay per form that's stored in the system), the qualifying/screening question bank and the quicklinks/shortcuts on the left that you should pin - that's a nice feature so you can see who's applied recently regardless of the job

Cons: we're not getting resumes like we have with other systems - now that we know this, I've heard that it's hit or miss when companies use iCIMS - they either get a lot of resumes (bc it's supposed to post to several job boards for you) or it gets very few. iCIMS can't really help or figure it out either - just luck of the draw if a company will get the postings/resumes like they expect (in other words, ask how to do a test trial to see how many resumes you get for a normal job you post all the time before buying) Aside from that just have to remember to hit the refresh button after updating things and start from the beginning (dashboard) for it to show the updated info. it'll still update but you won't see it without the refresh and going back to the dashboard.

Comments: Our HR department used ICIMS for a year and raved about it. Then our company moved to an "all in one" package to connect the functions between billing, payroll, HR and more. During this 2 year period HR simply had a data base of applicants .... not a recruiting tool. We came back to ICIMS specifically for it's ability to match our varied hiring flows, customize requisitions for each facility, hiring manager access, and the ability to capture metrics.

Pros: - Truly customizable - Easy set up process - after a few ATS we knew exactly what we wanted - Clean visuals - Intuitive design - easy for new Hiring Manager to learn - Catches duplicate applicants - Search and reporting options are vast! Not limited to a few canned reports. - Ability to capture hiring expenses - Nice addition of Connect to capture passive applicants - Nice integration with Job Target to push our jobs out to job boards - Responsive Help Desk Team - Multiple learning tools (printed guides, videos, web conferences) - Reasonable price - we had been paying more for less functionality and consistent performance problems.

Cons: NO CONS With this system we have all the basics... plus areas to grow!

Pros: Ease of use Intuitive workflow Easy to track candidates against specific reqs. nice add on fields so that recruiters can add comments by req and then print a report with all reqs for that recruiter

Cons: More reporting flexibility would be good. This is the best ATS I have used, so I do not have much negative to say about the product. Every release seems to address past issues (such as reporting flexibility).

Pros: Each business has it's own needs. For an expanding consulting company, we needed something that had an ability to scale with us. This product allows us to share information on all candidates, update job requirements, and quickly adapt to the changing needs of our business. Also, the UI is simple, clean, and easy to understand which has given me the ability to train new employees quickly and get them up to speed.

Cons: Overall, the base version of the product is good, but as with everything, you need to buy more items to customize fully and get the maximum use. The workflows are manageable, but can get a bit complex when doing the personal customization. I'd like to see more options in certain areas vs only being allowed a numeric option. These are specific to our needs, but it's something to think about as improvements are made. The search function itself is basic and needs to be more advanced when doing complex Boolean searches. If you are trying to find something that will locate the same way Monster or Dice does for thousands of resumes, then you may be disappointed.

Recommendations to other buyers: Really identify the key needs for your business and how information needs to be shared. With all the different ATS systems out there, you need to evaluate the pros/cons for each. It's something that should be looked at from both the immediate need and long term potential. Look at workflows, steps, clicks, and how quickly you are able to input new information. All these things take time and need to be done correctly to ensure the information is inputted.

Pros: What I like most about this product is the ability to customize it to our needs. Almost anything can be created and sent out as a task for new hires which is nice. There are also tons of reports that I can customize to get numbers on a variety of things.

Cons: What I like least about ICIMS is the fact that they do not accomodate to re-hires for seasonal employment. It is a user friendly site unless you're dealing with re-hires. Sending out hiring packets from year to year just adds tons of clutter for both admins and the users.

Pros: The ease of use - the ability to gather data from program to utilize the reporting function - ICIMS offers the best customer service of any software program we use within our company. Other departments are jealous of our customer service delivery.

Cons: Cannot think of one! I have done consulting work for other companies who use various ATS systems and they are complicated and do not allow the user to customize in the manner that ICIMS does.

Overall: Excellent customer service - ease of use for our recruiters - customizable - ease of use for the candidate

Cons: Realistically, there are things I wish iCIMS could do that it can't yet; fortunately their teams are solution-oriented and work with me to find a way to accomplish what I want to do within the system.

Pros: It's very user friendly, it takes half the time it used to take me in order to post, get candidates and get them onboarding! Best move we ever made switching over to iCIMS Recruit/Onboard!

Cons: It would be nice if managers got an email alert once candidates have completed 100% of the onboarding tasks rather than having to go in and check daily to see if they have completed their tasks. I realize there are reports which are great but a simple notification saying "Joe Smith has completed their tasks", would be awesome!

Comments: icims is defiantly suited to larger companies. It might a little over priced and not be as user friendly as some competitors like Workday.

Pros: Icims is well trusted by large companies for being able to provide custom recruiting software. They have the ability to solve very complex workflow and thus help companies automate process that used to be quite manual. With this they great features like automated requisition approvals making it easy for users. icims is ideal for larger companies with every complex internal process and structures.

Cons: Icims might be too complex for inexperienced users. It is ideal for larger companies and some if the features might be a little dated.

Comments: The Account Managers are frequently rotating. You will often contact your Account Manager and find out they're no longer your Account Manager as they point you to someone else for assistance. The Account Managers aren't the most responsive either.

Pros: The iCIMS NOW platform has all the functions you need and works well for a relatively low price point. Technical Support is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Cons: They have discontinued the iCIMS NOW platform and are only offering the iCIMS Recruit platform, which has more features but at over double the cost.

Comments: All but 1 of the employees that I came in to contact with were amazing. Great customer service, and Colin went the extra mile for us.

Pros: Sales team was realistic in what iCIMS can do and was very open about what it couldn't or what was on the roadmap. Implementation team was easy to work with and flexible. Response time from everyone at the company was faster than expected from Legal to Customer Support. Implementation of 2 large companies happened in 6 months vs. a year.

Cons: Once we moved from our original ATS to iCIMS the Talent Acquisition team wanted even more functionality than what we started with. iCIMS showed us what was possible.

Pros: The iCims talent platform is easy to use and is easy to organize your candidates. You can add notes in each profile and move them to each category of the hiring stage with ease. I recommend to companies who need help with their external and internal recruiting.

Cons: There are some days that the interface is down for a couple hours. It impacts our recruiting as we cannot do anything for the time it is down. Also, I found that the customer service is slow.

Pros: This product is reasonably priced and is well worth it. The program is highly customizable and the reporting and auto reminder features are great. Being able to set up position approvals and auto reports to be emailed out are a bonus!

Pros: I enjoy the customer service help desk and how the representatives are very knowledgeable and patient. In addition, the layout of the iCIMS platform is very user-friendly. For instance, reports can be found in the "reporting center".

Cons: My company requires a lot of customization and iCIMS can't offer a lot of options. For instance, iForms have somewhat of a rigid format that make it a bit difficult to customize to better fit our company.

Overall: This system helps house all our talent for the projects my company is working on. It's useful and easily accessed anywhere, which is very important as we have many remote employees on our team.

Comments: iCIMS is so close to being the best...I highly recommend digging in with self sourcing recruiters to learn what they do and then build the functionality.

Pros: Latest technology, multi-platform, easy to use, configurable, integration with LinkedIn, multiple modules, such as Connect (very basic CMS), ATS and Onboarding.

Cons: Does not have tracking tools for self sourcing recruiters. Needs the ability to easily track self sourcing activities, such as calls, emails, texts, etc.

Pros: - Exceptional Customer Service on all levels.

- Lots of flexibility and configuration tools for system admin to configure the products on the front end.

Cons: Reporting needs to be improved. Even though the system is easy to create, run and automate reports iCIMS still needs to improve system reporting capabilities where queries can be built to correlate the data between different tables.

Comments: TMR, Inc. is a government contractor in the Washington, DC metro area providing an assorted of IT services to the federal government. This is TMR's first on line recruiting system and we plan to go live on April 22, 2013. Before then, recruiting documentation was manual and laborious, though administratively consistent. We looked at two other on line systems including iCIMS and made the decision to purchase the iCIMS product because the overall system met our needs; the technology was state of the art and continually progressive; the customer service and training contained multiple layers of information and timeliness; the price was within budget and the we liked Nick Emlen, the initial representative from iCIMS we met. Our initial experience with Nick was clear and consistently professional. We wanted a system that paralleled our recruiting process at least 80% and iCIMS met this requirement. TMR also bought the JobMagic product which feeds all the social media sites and from everything we have seen so far it is indeed magic, technically awesome and benefits our current and future needs. We know this system will increase our recruiting productivity and delete a magnitude of administrative work. Lisa Yee is our implementation manager and meeting with her weekly to review and learn each phase of the product was more than delightful. We would leave the meeting with a feeling of accomplishment, good faith, and continued justification that we made the right decision with the iCIMS product. Initially she provided us a time frame for meetings with a set implementation date and we are right on target. Overall, we are looking forward to our new online system to assist us with our overall strategic needs.

Pros: Great software, very easy to use. Has a lot of great feature that make the entire recruiting process seem streamline. One easy location for all applicants to apply. Easy to manage workflow to ensure all forms are completed correctly. ICIMS is a very robust tech savvy system that has a lot of capabilities. It has customer specific add-on options and the overall functi8onality is great. The reporting features are great and allow you to run specific report data. The libraries will store your job orders and other information pertinent to your position that makes it easy to use for future reference. Email tracking is a great tool. Lastly, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to help you to learn the platform. Applicants have the option to apply for multiple positions after initial profile is created.

Cons: The cost is so high. I have found other ATS services that are significantly cheaper. The time it takes to have the entire implementation go live is longer than expected and overall iCIMS could be more price effective.

Pros: Our Project Manager, Karen, did a great job tailoring the process and timeline to my needs, she did a ton of work that I needed help with, and she got us up an running before our expected go live date. Not only did she do a great job, she made me and my department look awesome to the company as a whole.

So far I have had zero resumes make it into the system that were not tagged with a source. I have had 15 referrals come in from the share and socialize buttons. I have had great results from the social product add-ons as well, 10 applicants via facebook and twitter. I have also sped up the process of getting a requisition approved by nearly 2 days time while saving myself the time of filling out requisitions for our hiring managers. We are also using the onboarding portal, which has lead to a much higher degree of accuracy regarding paperwork PRIOR to start date. The onboarding portal allows our entire HR team to view what is complete or still needed.

Cons: iFORMS have a recurring monthly cost on the onboarding solution. I would use a lot more of them if they were more affordable.

Overall: I think iCIMS is a great purchase if you are looking to buy an ATS that is built and focused upon being an ATS. Lots of other products in the market for social networking, HRIS, addons...but they all have lost sight of being a best in class recruiting tool.

Pros: I find it is very easy to disposition candidates, create positions and manage the recruiting cycle.

Cons: It is not that user friendly and a lot of the way it is configured does not make logical sense. We have over 30,000 resumes in the database and it is the last place we go to search for candidates because the searching capabilities are useless and it is very, very time consuming. There are so many features that we do not use because every single one will cost more money each month and it does not seem worth it.

Pros: The way we can track one candidate's information and the ease of use. I like that I can always see and update their status with the a couple quick clicks. It's laid out really nice and makes sense for our daily needs.

Cons: Reporting is somewhat confusing and there are some aspects of the system that I've had to request additional training on in order to use it properly. When I search for something in the Help page, I find videos instead of simple answers.

Comments: The iCIMS talent platform as a product is a treat to use. We purchased Connect and Recruit. From sale to implementation to daty-to-day use, I couldn't be happier. I found my Account Executive to be honest, knowledgeable, and I am happy to say I got exactly what I expected -- no empty promises. iCIMS can be used as is, or it can be tailored to the needs of your organization. Currently, I am in a fast growing organization of 450; but iCIMS was a great solution for my previous company of 3000 as well. From HR to hiring manager, the platform is user friendly. In addition to being a great product, what makes iCIMS a truly remarkable solution is the level of customer service and support provided by everyone you interact with at iCIMS. I highly recommend if you are looking for an easy to implement product and want a no fuss customer service experience.

Pros: Ease of use, customer service, free updates, iCARE support, overall value. The platform requires little support from your IT team or Sys Admin. iCIMS provides great technical support as well. Integrates with most HRIS and LMS as well as countless assessment and background check products.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: I like being able to search by name or by job title to find who I'm looking for. It's nice to be able to view a person's profile and once selected to hire I can have all their documents together online.

Cons: I work at a place that does a ton of re-hires. For us it has been a pain to require people who come back every summer to remember their login name and password and re-do the current years paperwork. They end up making a new profile which makes it even more confusing for us.

Pros: The configurability and ability to integrate with other software and platforms. Robust searching and reporting is also a big plus.

Cons: There can be a bit of a learning curve getting used to iCIMS and its features, but with a good implementation and commitment to their available training, this can be overcome.

Pros: iCIMS is a very user-friendly product. Someone with no experience in ATS systems could quickly learn how to use iCIMS. It's also a one-stop shop, providing various aspects necessary to source, communicate with, and hire candidates. It is an excellent recruitment resource! Being that we are regulated by the OFCCP, it is important that we have accurate documentation of our hires. iCIMS allows us to do that. As a vendor, iCIMS is also very strong. When our needs change, they are willing to listen and discuss options or develop solutions. Their help desk is also very knowledgeable and timely in their responses. I have met and worked with iCIMS for eight years. They are extremely professional and have excellent customer service skills.

Cons: We do wish it spoke with Oracle more easily, which would provide a more efficient and consistent work environment.

Recommendations to other buyers: iCIMS is a great product, whether you are a small company or a large organization. They are able to service various needs. First, determine what it is you are looking for in an ATS. What specific things do you need / want? Second, demo 2-3 different systems, talk to others, and get feedback about the different systems that have been reviewed. Finally, choose the product that best suits your needs.

Pros: There is a lot it can do with regards to sourcing, recruiting, and on-boarding. They have already done a lot of the leg work for vendor searches also.

Cons: The admin aspects of the platform has a steep learning curve. Learning the system as the admin requires a person to start thinking within the levels of talent acquisition versus as just one process. The number of clicks for tasks is also way to high, needs simplified.

Overall: Its an industry leader in my industry.

Comments: The products works as it should. More email or schedule integrations would be nice. Pros: Resume parsing is a nice feature but sometimes inconvenient if I only have a linkedin profile. Cons: Customer support hasn't been anything to write home around. A solution is found about 50% of the time. Most of the time I have to write an email after I fill out all the forms. Site says sorry, please email us. Not fun because my precise feedback from the forms is now gone and I need to start over in email. You can review my feedback

Comments: It is a good tracking system that works way better than the alternative paper version of applicants!

Pros: Being able to review info quickly & easily while keeping them specific to certain jobs & all jobs. We can tag one person in multiple areas and have their info be sent to the hiring managers easily.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to find a particular person when you have multiple with the same name, but it does have features that allow for a more specific search.

Comments: This is an extremely robust applicant tracking system that is allowing us to automate many of our processes, saving time and money. It would probably meet the needs of any company's applicant tracking needs. iCIMS also integrates with several other software platforms that we use. There is quite a bit of training available as well.

Pros: What we like best about the iCIMS Applicant Tracking system is that it's very configurable and can be customized to match our needs. Additionally, the integration is extremely thorough and the integration team is top notch and very responsive.

Cons: The integration and setting up to use the platform is extremely complicated. Although an integration manager walks your integration team through it step by step, it takes quite a bit of time and effort on the user's part. We also don't like that we can only have three attachments (of files) for each job. For instance, if we had a project timeline, a work scope, that would be two of only three possible attachments.

Pros: It is one of the lower cost solutions out there. It does have the bare minimum in terms of functionality

Cons: You get what you pay for.... The most frustrating part of ICIMS is the reporting functionality. In a world where most ATS come with tons of built in reports, ICIMS does not. Navigating the reporting is a beast of a task and half the time we cannot get simple reports like process flow for a particular hiring manager, time to fill, and other key metrics. When you do find the report you need, it is hard to export on a regular basis, and you find yourself re-creating the wheel multiple times over.

Recommendations to other buyers: Build out intuitive, real-time reporting. Reduce the massive amount of clicks it takes to navigate the system.

Pros: iCIMS Talent platform helped a lot with finding the right candidates for our organization. It helps us posting the jobs on our website and helps us reaching candidates easily. The app is easy to use. The visual charts are helpful for the reporting purpose.

Cons: it can also be tied up with our project management so we can assign people wit training projects initially. Sometime we ask candidate to develop very small projects to check their skills. So it will be good if we can use this along with our project management system.

Recommendations to other buyers: Good app to use for managing jobs available in your organization. It helps to manage candidate data easily and helps with the reporting as well.

Pros: The usability is very intuitive, for both the applicant/new hire and the recruiter/hiring manager. The releases are relevant to the industry and recommendations from clients. BUT the customer service is by far their best attribute!

Cons: Right now, there isn't anything I don't like. They recently added a search feature within a job for hiring managers, which was a pain point for them when managing a lot of candidates.

Recommendations to other buyers: When looking for a new ATS/Onboard system, make sure you have the list of Must Haves and Nice to Haves. When demo'ing the product make sure you have examples of the Must Haves and that the individual actually demo's the process vs. just saying the system can do the process.

Comments: I use the iCIMS tool frequently in my role as an account manager at a staffing company. While my company itself doesn't utilize iCIMS, one of my major clients uses the tool for all candidate submissions to job requirements. I've been using the tool for about 6 months and can say that it is not the easiest tool to use. I much prefer the tool that my company uses internally, Bullhorn.

Pros: I like that iCIMS allows me to make candidate profiles within the system and submit the candidate to multiple job requirements without having to re-enter any information. This has the potential to be a big time saver for companies that often submit the same candidate to multiple requisitions.

Cons: The interface could definitely undergo a makeover; while functional, iCIMS is not interesting to look at whatsoever. I have also found that it can be a bit of a pain to enter information about candidates to the extent that iCIMS requires. For example, to make a candidate profile, you need to have the correct address and phone number of a candidate. While we usually have the phone number on hand, I usually have to hound people to give me their address quickly so I can submit them in a timely manner.

Recommendations to other buyers: iCIMS has the potential to be a great tool, but I would consider other options at this time. It is certainly not my favorite time of the day when I need to log into iCIMS.

Pros: The software is easy to learn and navigate. The training offered is better than any other software companies I've worked with. iCIMS has webinars, dedicated account reps and a stellar help desk crew to assist with the very few issues that I've experienced. My favorite feature is that the sales people didn't promise me anything that the implementation crew didn't follow through with. That was a problem for us in the past, but iCIMS put us at ease!

Cons: I wish the reporting was a bit more user-friendly. There is extensive training available, but if the reporting was a bit more intuitive, it would be a benefit, because we wouldn't have to spend so much time learning the process and could spend more time running reports and analyzing data.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get to know the product from the get-go. There are many modules that I didn't ask about in the beginning and I feel our company could have purchased them when we first signed up with iCIMS, but adding them at this point has been a struggle for our company. We currently only use the applicant tracking module. I think the social media module would be fantastic to use and wish we could have added it from the start.

Comments: Our company uses the iCIMS recruiting and onboarding platform and I've found it to be most flexible from a front end configurability standpoint. In addition, we are a Lawson shop and the iCIMs technical team is very familiar with our integration needs. For example, our direct deposit integration now has a checkpoint on the iCIMs site that validates the routing number before the file is exported - it is a huge help in identifying/reducing typos by the candidate. Finally, with many of the support teams I've worked with over the years, iCIMS is hands down the most responsive and proactive.
