Easy to train users Cons No functions for export of data for reporting or integration with order processing software (ERP). Orders and invoices had to be hand types in/out of system. Quickest to implement but we quickly outgrew and switched out. Pros The new layout is better than the old layout. Also the new layout walks you through the step's of invoicing better than the old. Reasonably priced and very responsive customer support. Cons Use several different EDI's for our business and this one is the least user friendly. Have to re-key in several key items that never change (ie. business address, phone number) that are auto populated with others. Reasons for choosing Edict Systems WebEDI We didn't. It is not as QuickBooks friendly as other services I have seen but it meets our needs for a lower cost. I worked with several members of the Web EDI team and they all have been responsive and helpful. As a growing business, Web EDI has allowed us to handle the growing volume of orders and trading partners we are working towards. Cons Some processes of the QuickBooks integration require redundant data entry. Imported invoices cannot close or link to sales orders at this time.
