I saved a lot of money by choosing this product.

Pros

The program offers the same functions as much more expensive products. He has a perpetual license, not some subscription. There are no great hardware requirements, but on strong equipment it develops wings. Supports 32/64 bit Microsoft Windows systems at Windows Vista. It has a multilingual interface.Very good price, modern services and functions, good producer support and frequent updates. It has an interface similar to AutoCAD

Overall experience is good.

Pros

Software is user friendly, all the command are similar as autocad.

Cons

Not working on low configuration desktops. Need to improve on the same for small scale industries

ActCAD is such a good CAD software, and it being cheaper than most of the options available in the market while it's overall quality is excellent makes it a great option for engineers.

Pros

ActCAD is a really great CAD software that is cheaper that other options and works great. It comes with almost every feature needed for engineering working.

Cons

It takes a while to get used to the different commands when comming from other cad softwares, but it is to be expected since not all softwares work the same

### "Need better support"

We use generation and modification DWG drawings with our clients and customers for IC packaging.

Pros

It seems a right solution for us since we use actcad for our basic drawings. Mainly add lines to IC package drawings.

Cons

Customer support is very bad. We are using live licenses and I have requests for overall manageability but these requests are still Pending. \[sensitive content hidden\] If these portions of website is not used, remove them from the site.

My overall experience have been mixed. I love the basic features and interface, competing with AutoCAD. I am not as pleased with some of the technical difficulties and support.

Pros

Ease of use and functionality, similar to AutoCAD, making the transition painless.

Cons

Lack of adequate help reference, documentations and support. The software includes many features, but without proper guide, it's hard to fully utilized. The online support is based in India, so there is difficulty due to time difference. Some of the feature are non-functioning or have bugs.

Yeah professionally it made my work easier.

Pros

It is similar to auto cad and very easy to use. And it's very cheap when compared to cad. And the tools are also similar to auto cad so I didn't face any issue in using this even for the first time. I would definitely recommend it to others

Cons

I felt that it's inexpensive. Why it is so cheap when it's the best product??

Commands are virtually identical to AutoCAD.

There is nothing that I don't like about this product.

Previously had a very old version of AutoCAD LT on a very old laptop computer that I only used for drafting. Wanted a newer version to use on my current computer and didn't like the idea of subscribing to software. ActCAD is just what I had been looking for, the same functionality as AutoCAD with a one time purchase. The commands are virtually identical, If you are already familiar with AutoCAD, then ActCAD requires no training. I love it.

It's good for me as i am mostly use 2d development drawing ( detail drawings and conceptual drawings) its good.

Pros

I like the most is price and ease of installing and when ever any requirement ofi fo directly i can the office and can the info.

Cons

If i compare (as iam long term user) with autocad i like to see for example the array command i like advanced.

The ACTCAD is used well specially when I cooperate with my biz-partners. I never experienced any version issue regarding AutoCAD. Usually partners are using AutoCAD.

Pros

Normally, I use CAD tools for viewing purpose with a miner editing job. The important issue when I choose the CAD tools is the similarity to the AutoCAD, since I use the short key when I do some cad designs. The pros of ACTCAD is the comparative price to its functionality and the compatibility to the AutoCAD. It also has unbeatable policy compare to other CAD makers.

Cons

The most of the functionality are same as AutoCAD only except the dim functions. When I use short keys for dim, it never works same with AutoCAD and I feel pretty uncomfortable when I apply dimensions to the design. Cause I am familiar with the short keys from AutoCAD.

Reason for choosing ActCAD

The compatibility and the price policy.

Similarity to Autocad, familiar workspace and commands, reasonable cost for perpetual licence

Cons

The help section which is not complete and lacks all feauters or possible queries. The fact that there are not many videos online and it's quite hard to find resources and answers at-hock.

Pros

Come si aspetterebbe un disegnatore CAD sono presenti tutte le funzioni necessarie sia tramite interfaccia grazica ad icone sia tramite riga di comando.

Cons

Forse si potrebbero migliorare le funzioni che servono per la stampa 3D, come il salvataggio in formato STL, se non addirittura in GCODE, specificando i parametri e le caratteristiche della stampante 3D, integrando magari i motori già esistenti di qualche slicer.

lots of stress, Decreament in my working efficiency and so many things which i cant explain in words.

Pros

Green xline which stops my whole work without any intimation. i am suffering lots of. very bad product. cant suggest to anyone. Number of times i have complain for this but no response.

Cons

I am so much confused about using this software. Xline, Trim, layer manager etc. commands are not working properly.

You have been using old version without updating despite of our repeated requests. We have given lot of support at your office but you are never supported. Please do not directly compare each command with OtherCAD software. You have to use ActCAD as an independent software. Green XLINES issue won't be there if you disable Parallel snap. It is rectified long back in ActCAD version.

The software with this price is admirable. The features like fillet, extend ,trim , at times do not work in a dwg. But suddenly it works in the same dwg. If blocks are used the software sometimes closes. The back office service offered should be more fast.

Pros

The features offered for that cost is commendable. The service offered.

Cons

Some features stop abruptly. The service is promptly given but little late .

Using the software is great as I used AutoCAD before. However, the freezing problem has not been resolved and my emails to support are mow not being responded to.

Pros

Virtually like for like to AutoCAD so the changeover was seamless

Cons

I have issues with the software freezing and cutting out. This happens daily when I am using the software, usually on several occasions. I have to shutdown all my applications and restart my laptop every time it happens. Obviously this causes disruption to my daily tasks using other software.
