My life as an engineer makes it easy for me and my company to do a lot of tasks using AutoCAD 2021 Professional.

Pros

It is very easy to use and manipulative.

Cons

The keyboard commands are too many and can overwhelm the user, thus you can do away a single task in so many ways.

### "Inexpensive AutoCAD substitute"

Pros

Coming from being an AutoCAD user I like that I could work with all my old drawings and that my customers could open my drawings. The interface was pretty easy to get used to.

Cons

It crashes way too frequently. I haven't been able to figure out why. I haven't heard back from tech support.

In that we have noticed some .NET CLR issues. Please try to install ActCAD on some other computer. 3. Make sure to update your Graphics drivers (on board or dedicated) to most latest version from respective manufacturers website. 4. Try ON/OFF of HWACCELERATION system variable. Overall good experience

Pros

At the same price I believe that Actcad has few competitors, it has a very short learning curve, it is a general cad with which you can draw everything .

Cons

The fact that it occasionally has bugs and that it does not have routines to insert doors and windows in the floor plans without having to go through 3d. I think that even the snap can be improved with the implementation of commands to solve particular situations

Compatibility with dwg PDF support Fast loading

Pros

Compatibility with dwg format. Similar commands, no need to learn again. Excellent support really fast and precise.

Cons

The only two things to improve are first how the program updates. That take a time and sometime erase variables previously set. An second the license management that is tricky.

In my whole experience, this app easy to use and extremely useful for my projects. It was able to load a drawing from an email attachment. And also comments and simple modifications are very useful.

Pros

AutoCAD very useful for engineering students. It is very easy way to drawing. AutoCAD 360 coupled makes creating floor plans an absolute breeze. And also i can view and measure with any dimensions.

Cons

In my opinion this app was already developed. But we can develop this app to so far. It will be more better if put PD mode in android version.

It is very good to design but like everything good it is expensive to buy

Pros

is aimed at any type of design, it is very good to give the results, you can design almost anything that one imgine has no limits

Cons

you have to have a prior knowledge to be able to use this tool, if you do not know how to use it the process to be able to design becomes very slow and tedious (trial and error)

Functionality vis a vis , cost effectiveness. It is exactly suitable to my requirements.

Pros

Virtually all the facilities are available in this software like others, and, the cost is quite affordable. In addition to this, we get quick support from the ' support team '

Cons

Not much really. But, there are some commands that need attention. Like repeat , spline command. Some times a green dotted lines appears on the screen while using some command, and , to remove it, drawing needs to be closed, and, reopened.

Different icons, different feel plus some problems in displaying huge orthos.

I was using AutoCad before. We no longer use Autocadi from our company. Since the day I used it, we have been able to do our job despite the slightest shortcomings. It is a promising program for the future.

Pros

a very functional program for a business

Cons

The program has some shortcomings compared to other programs.

Reason for choosing ActCAD

We will use the Professional version in the future. For now it is our standard package business.

It served our purpose. Training was not required . Our engineers just took off on the same day. Cost was affordable.

die Menüs z.B Bemaßung können nicht gesamtheitlich angezeigt werden, z.B Fortfahren Bemaßung ist unter dem Untermenü Kommentieren statt unter Bemaßung im Startmeneu Bemaßung erst im nächsten Menü zu finden, jedoch kann man sich das Untermenü anzeigen lassen.

I have been able to seamlessly transfer from other CAD software when setting up my new architectural practice and am up and running at a fraction of the cost.

Pros

All drafting commands and actions are intuitive and require minimal alteration to how I use other CAD software. ActCAD Professional gives the use of many more advanced actions and tools for the price when compared to others.

Cons

It took me a little while to manage / alter support paths when compared to other CAD software, but this is as much down to me getting familiar with the product.

Great to use as a first time user. Rather than keeping business cards. You can enter all the information into their software program.

Pros

Act is a nice product to use for creating a data base. The CRM was nice for reminding you to do a function; email a follow up phone call.

Cons

I had found, that ACT lacked the flexibility to use. It was very tedious to enter contacts into the program.

### "No difference with the usual programs"

I used to work with autocad, but the costs of it went sky high. For a small one man company this was no fun anymore. Actad offers a good workable alternative to a good price.

Pros

\- Price - no monthly costs - just one time buy - easy to use when familiar with the well known programs

Cons

\- some technical futures (it is f.i. not clear when a line is exactly horizontal or vertical) - sometimes things change and I cannot find back what I did.

### "ActCAD - Do it... What do you have to lose"

I liked the low cost of entry for a simple drafting package that provides me access to dwg and dxf files that customers provide. Perpetual license!!!

Cons

Not a lot bad to say for my experience. Though used for more of a reader of data in my case.

### "It is good it can be better "

It is nice it could be better. I suggest: (1) you ask for feedback (as you did), (2) you make a guide step by step for beginners or not, (3) you make a forum (questions, answers) where you get and answer the most popular questions and complains (as to solve them). In my opinion the forum is also a very good and cheap advertising (to new clients) for a good product with good support.

Pros

Good value for money. Similarity to other programs (AutoCAD). Very good compatibility with other programs.

Cons

Not all AutoCAD commands are transferred to ActCAD. There is not a step by step guide for the program. There is not a list with commands and shortcuts. The BIM plug in was less than basic (no automatisaion for door measures, I could not change the materials of walls etc).

Value for money Layout and commands are similar to AUTOCAD thus learning curve is short. It appears to be faster than similar products.

occasionally crashes.need a restart.hatch patterns are limited...thus displays different hatch in view/view-ports than selected in the original drawing..

Easy to use with professional results, dwg compatibility.

Pros

Very easy to learn, Straight forward if you know major CAD brand. Simple and intuitive interface. Has all the features that I look in a CAD software. The support is excellent, the guys know the software and respond with a easy and clean instructions to help you. This is the only CAD that you need for work.

Cons

The only problem that I find was the alarm about Regen the drawing, but I inform the problem to the support team and the correct it with an update in just few weeks.
