I have been able to develop my own programs by using the API kit to speed up my tasks in the design process.

Pros

Value for money Constantly improved and updated Good UI API kit available Artisan renderer integration

Cons

It's common that every solution has its own cons. In this case, the team behind this software is very active in fixing every issues and it constantly improve the software.

poor customer service in providing authorization codes.

Pros

2d version appear to function as well as ACAD LT and is a great Cad software for the price.

Cons

hard to get authorization codes form this vendor that function. I ended up buying an upgrade when the purchased version crashed since the information provided by ActCad did not allow me to activate the original software.

Value for money.

Pros

Easy and similar user interface. Easy to use. Very light weight and good performance CAD. I can easily view my electrical circuit CAD drawings. Electrical Blocks are also available.

Cons

Some commands are different to use but output is the same. Great CAD at great price. And that to a perpetual license.

### "Short ActCAD 2020 Pro review"

Easy to use and opening cad files is much more quicker than doing the same using Autocad. Finally it launches much quicker compared to Autocad and generally feels more light.

Pros

In the past I have used other cad software based on Intellicad. ActCAD is finally one of the most stable.

Cons

I would like to to see in existing ribbons & tabs more commands for easier handling of layers during 2D drafting.

Reason for choosing ActCAD

Because is cheaper and I like the common look of the UI, looking like older versions of Autocad.

Easy to access, most of the tools are as per the auto cad or any other cad software available in the market.

Cons

Response of the software is very slow and its hangs too often . Performance of most of the tools are not in par with the other cad software

Easy to use and great functionality.

Pros

Well developed menu structure . Funtionality similar to AutoCAD so transitional users will have no learning curve. Great value for money.

Cons

Some shortcut commands available in AutoCAD are not available .

not so good in terms of printing part of drafting .

Pros

All features are good ,highly recommendable. Price is very good.

Cons

it doesn't give real time printing option. the units in actcad plan are not converted to actual units in any size print out.There is error in reading actual printout. not at all worthy to buy such software with limited utility.

### "Use of ActCAD for 3D Geometry"

It does the job and it is not a huge investment.

Pros

ActCad is very suitable for working in 3D Geometry because its fast to get to the point with very accurate results. There is a wonderful 3D Platonic Order to the infra-structure of DNA that many big scholars just see as chaos. I can recommend ActCad for researching these discoveries. You are not buying a street of houses to own this excellent software.

Cons

Happy with everything and I cannot think of anything to be a problem.

### "Very Reasonable Alternative"

We do Detail engineering and it is very much helpful.

Pros

Reasonably priced alternative to AutoCAD. It has a very small learning curve.

Cons

The 32 Bit version of the software is NOT Bug free. Hence i would recommend installing the 64 Bit version which is pretty steady.

Reason for choosing ActCAD

CADIAN has not been upgraded in the last couple of years.

### "Cheaper alternative to some big names"

This is a great option for those, like us, who may not use CAD frequently but still need it. If you don't want to pay outrageous sums of money for a product you won't use, ActCAD gets the job done. AutoCAD is just way too expensive. Great competitor product.

Pros

The main pro of this software is the price. Other CAD software is extremely expensive, and for users like myself and my team who use CAD very infrequently, this can be super expensive and frowned upon by upper management. ActCAD solves this problem and has more than enough features to complete its purpose. I have seen quick updates and upgrades, so I am hopeful that it will continue to improve.

Cons

Honestly do not have many cons. There are loads of features that my team and I will never use, so it would be nice to remove them but ultimately that is what CAD software does.

We use the product with design and manufacturing projects and it meets our demands.

Pros

When we start to search for a cad software, first we look for the good price like many other users. Actcad gives less price offer with the same quality like the other softwares that we are looking for. Also the best thing is that you can transfer your licences from computer to another anytime, this will help you about the quantity of the licences you will need.

Cons

Software is enough for our 2d projects. There is nothing we didn't like.

Easy AutoCAD integration, all of my AutoCAD files easily open in ActCAD. Same hotkeys so learning is simple.

Took some time to learn the different functions and figure out the printing setups.
