The contrast has been refreshing. The pricing model is transparent and reasonable, especially for a SaaS team that needs to embed reporting without the enterprise-tier sticker shock. Setup into our .NET stack was straightforward, and the self-service report builder is genuinely usable by non-technical folks, which takes pressure off our dev team. The ability to let customers build and customize their own reports has been a real win. Support has been responsive and actually helpful, which sounds like a low bar until you've dealt with the alternative. Worth evaluating if you're looking for embedded reporting that won't punish you at renewal. Pros Support deserves special mention. Responses are fast, the people actually understand the product, and they treat problems like problems to solve rather than tickets to close. After being burned before, this has rebuilt our trust in what a vendor relationship should look like. Cons Not a lot of cons at the moment as it's been a great alternative solution from our previous solution. We needed a reporting tool/platform that will not only allow us to add multiple data sources but that will also allow our clients to create and customize their own reports without breaking the bank. Pros We are able to easily add multiple databases, create relationships and give our users the ability to create their own reports, dashboards and different types of reporting such as graphs, pie and tabular format Cons There has to be some level of education to the end users to be able to efficiently use the products as you need to really know the tables and fields in the database level. Something which users are not exposed to. Also when you have a database with many tables, it tends to be a little bit slow to load in the admin section.
