### "It tkaes a little time to learn but great product"

Great and definitely necessary tool for auto finance companies in order to keep track of your units out there.

Pros

The new version looks cleaner and still easy to use. We like the option of the overall map showing units all over the country. Also, the reports are easy to get and use.

Cons

Once they made the change from Position Plus some of the old units did not transfer properly or at all. So at this point, we don't really know if we can locate those units or not. Accessing the history is a bit confusing and does not show as many details as it did when it was a Position Plus unit. I dd mis the way the history showed back then. Creating links to recovery agents is definitely a pain. Every time your try to create a link for an agent you have to manually type their information over and over again. It's a waste of time. We need to be able to create a list of current agents to choose from there every time we need to create a recovery link.

### "Gold star is ok"

Pros

What I like most about gold star it that it is very simple to use. If you do not understand it you can call and the customer service is amazing. Mrs. Carol always helps me

Cons

I would have to say that this doesn't give you the exact spot. Like it will tell you it's on one street but it's actual the street behind where it is. You must pay attention to the actual marker and not the address it gives

### "Extremely unreliable "

Horrible experience, no customer service whatsoever, they don't stay behind their product at all. I've waisted months in phone calls, emails, customer support tickets with no results, still investigating, still looking into problems and at the end I have 1/3 of my equipment not tracked due to their poor software and customer service. Costed me over a $100,000 in losses so far and not to mention the monthly payments I am making for non working devices due to long term contracts lock. I have my attorney involved at this point and switching to different provider

Pros

Easy to work with and manage in the beginning

Cons

Devices stop reporting, customer support does absolutely nothing about it. I ended up with 80 devices out of 200 not working and not reporting. Costed me 4 trailers stolen for 1 year with mounting costs for recovery and potentially 76 more if they don't swing by to be replaced

Reason for choosing GoldStar

Sales rep convinced us of their reliability and they were recommended to us by a repo company which later on turned out to be a complete scam

Spireon is the most unreliable company I ever encountered in my life. Never took responsibility for their faulty equipment and lost days of my time to send them reports with units status with absolutely no point or resolutions and not a single time were able to stop charges or get replacements on any of the 80 out of 200 devices that are not working

### "Goldstar tracking "

Goldstar's customer service is the best. They will call every month to check to see how things are going and if we need more devices.

Pros

I like that Goldstar is easy to use and install. The tracking of vehicles is so good.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about Goldstar

Best GPS company I have used.

Pros

The customer service is wonderful. We always had prompt shipping and rarely any downtime on malfunctioning devices.

Cons

We struggled at one point with Sprint devices because we are in an area that isn't covered by Sprint, but once we switched to Verizon devices we didn't have any more trouble.

Pros

The ease of use with GoldStar is amazing. They have a mobile app you can download which makes the system easily accessible. You can track vehicles in real time. It shows you a map as well as an address and pin of where the vehicle or unit is. The system also includes history which makes it easy to track down units that are no longer working.

Cons

Units sometimes go out or are unable to locate. I wish there was a way to reset these units but this will happen with all tracking solutions.

We have been using it for some time now and everyone likes it.

Pros

GoldStar is easy to use. There are clunkier products out there, but this is easy and quick.

Cons

None that I can think of. All of my staff use it.

### "Gold star units are not locating!!!No Help from customer service!"

After calling and speaking with several people, none of them could give a straight answer and continue to send us in different directions with no resolution.

Pros

Unfortunately, we have no pros. This company is costing us a lot of money loosing tracking on almost 30 vehicles!!!

Cons

Now that Gold star took over nearly 30 of our units will not locate. With no customer service help.

Reason for choosing GoldStar

This was not by choice. We were happy with position plus and were about to start purchasing more units from them, but wanted to make sure Gold star would fit our needs. So glad we waited, this experience has been very painful.
