Content Manager Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Organize your events and allow your users to save the dates" December 26, 2021 4.0 We use Eventable in each of our events, as a way to give our registrants one more way so that they can add the event to their calendar, easily and quickly. Unfortunately for the price, we cannot take advantage of the extra features, especially the metrics and reports. Pros Eventable appeared in our lives as a solution for our webinar viewers to schedule our events on their favorite calendars. From there we found that this tool had several other features that helped us, such as integrations with Mailchimp, custom buttons for web and mail, metrics, and more. In addition, its Enterprise version allows full integration with Salesforce, custom branding, analytics, among others. Cons Being a freemium tool, its free version has quite limited options. Its landing page to add calendar does not have a very friendly interface, and its buttons that can be inserted in emails or websites, are only in English and do not allow their translation. Owner Retail Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "An unexpected treasure" April 9, 2021 4.0 I was looking for a way to include "add to calendar" buttons to MailChimp emails. While trying to figure out how I could write the HTML, I stumbled on Eventable. I tried it on one email and was hooked. If you have an event and want to send it out with "add to calendar" capabilities, this is a great service. It can do a lot more it can do and integrate with CRM and other programs. But to set up a Google calendar with events and have customers, members or anyone else add it to their calendar, Eventable is a great service! Pros It's very simple to create calendar reminders for mass meetings and availability. You can customize the look and even download codes to create buttons. The great aspect of creating the buttons is that they will provide the correct format for the venue where the buttons will be added. Cons Everything is compartmented as individual tabs in their administration interface. I know it is a "user experience" issue, but I would rather see some of the options laid out on a single page. Cons I was looking for a tool to help managing my online events (add to calendar button, invitation management, sign ups etc.). Eventable looked great. As there was no trial option I decided to buy a month. Turned out that it takes up to 8 hours for the events to appear in the guest's calendar after signing up - absolutely useless as I want to ensure a seamless experience for my guest. Also, I find this is quite an important expect of the product - I wish they would either fix it or be upfront with it. The support was not responsive. Now, after cancelling I am still trying to reach out as the invoice does not include all the information my finance department will need. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. We used this for promoting sales to loyal customers. Our Eventable campaign generated one of the highest open and click-through-rates we've ever seen, and our marketing team was blown away. I am writing this to make sure people should be aware of such experiences. In case if my review helps them. Let me start. One of the worst paid experience ever. To begin with their product website itself. 99% of the time I was not able to create the events at all. It just keeps on loading after you click on create an event, after filling all the required information. And let me repeat this, I thought that maybe since I was a free customer earlier, I was facing the same issue, and thought of upgrading it to pay $20/month and see if that improves the performance. And I regretted my decision a lot. Not only that I was able to create hardly 1% of the time, but after that, If I tried integrating their event iframe codes, it used to take more than 10-15 seconds to load up CSS and the button itself. 99% of the time in this case as well. Now coming back to their customer support. Their customer service via email or even their chat support system should be rated -32768. Far, far, far below one could even imagine. The worst which you can't imagine. For example, I had sent out a message on their chat system available, and email, more than 2-3 weeks back, and I didn't receive any response whatsoever. Here is the screenshot link to the chat \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Over the email also, I didn't receive any response at all. Nor even an acknowledgment anywhere. From my experience, I can only recommend people to just skip this option if you were Pros As per my experience, please look out for an alternative. There is nothing better in this at all. IT Manager Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Product doesn't work, no support" August 5, 2019 1.0 I was hopeful I could use Eventable to automate getting an AddToCalender button which could be used on a meeting RSVP confirmation page. I asked for a trial but received no response. I purchased a month so I could test the product. The button for adding the calender event to Outlook didn't work. I didn't bother trying the other options. I reached out to support and got no response. Not sure this company is even legitamate..? If you're looking for something that works, I'd suggest AddEvent (https://www.addevent.com/) - no Zapier integration but at least it works. Pros The functionality of this software is awesome and very useful for streamlining event planning and marketing materials. The email and calendar integration is helpful. Cons The website itself can be a bit hard to navigate. The user interface and integration isn’t as user friendly as I would like but with some practice you can figure it out.
