Pros the best part about this software is the fact that it is hosted in the cloud. It also has a MSP licensed feature so that you can separate your different clients you may be monitoring. Cons there are almost to many things you can monitor. the licensing pricing model can be hard to understand also. Cons Almost too many features for our small company, but I'd rather have too many features than missing features. Pros Ability to keep good track of your estate with detailed alerting and notificions through a number of channels (text, voice, email etc.) depending on the priority or environment. Really helps to judge wheather something is going on production which need's immediate attention or let the alert be for a while when CPU consumtion on test is a bit high, that doesn't require immediate attention. Cons It's pretty hard to implement standard build plugins or even implement your own custom build plugins. This has everything to do the way things are meassured and the way thresholds and availability checks are setup. You could endup with a bunch of false possitives during the night .... This was not on our list of things to check. Pros Fast alerting of any sites or services that are not accessible is critical & done well.Notification of coming possible problems such as SSL certificate expiry is great for business continuity. Cons When you have a lot of sites or services to be monitored, the main screen can get a little busy / crowded.Planning the naming of the things you add to your monitoring account, then creating sensible groups can help to minimise this issue. I would HIGHLY recommend it. Try it, use it, if you don't like to pay for the full version, at least use the free version so you can realize the value of said alerts. :) Pros Site24x7 'really' monitors your website uptime and sends you timely alerts if it becomes unavailable.
