We have been using this system for several years. I find it easy to email our student population and families with the email system in place.

Pros

Excellent Customer Service! Whenever we have a question, they immediately assist us!! Great client interface as well.

Cons

Can't really think of anything. I do not do the inputting or setting up of the classes, so I cannot speak to that aspect of JR.

I've been a very happy Jackrabbit user since 2008. Their support has been consistently reliable, they are always looking to enhance their product, and their customer communication is top-notch. I also appreciate how active the support team is in the Jackrabbit User Facebook group.

Pros

It's many features, the power of the reporting, and best of all, the amazing tech support team! It's great that so much can happen in one place. Jackrabbit Music is a very powerful tool for studio management.

Cons

I wish the scheduling feature worked a little better for ongoing private lessons at music school. "Classes" and "Appointments" need to have a baby. :) Other than that, there's not much that I don't like about Jackrabbit!

Everything has been very positive. We were with a different client last year and the contrast in customer support and functionality are an ongoing delight.

Pros

Jackrabbit allows us to easily track our students in our classes, and has helped us ensure that our enrollment reaches its maximum total for each class.

Cons

The email client for sending out email messages has, in some cases, proved difficult as we try to send out branded emails to our student families. So much is dependent on using images and dynamic text in emails now and that has limited us in some respects.

Reviews Jackrabbit for years. It's the primary software that manages all the accounts for our Music School - scheduling and billing. We primarily focus on private lessons. I will say that Jackrabbit does seem to be more geared towards group classes, like for dance or karate schools. But it suits our needs.

Pros

Jackrabbit works well as a basic CRM, but is especially good at keeping our lesson scheduled intact and for recurring billing.

Cons

I'm not sure what the annual downtime is, but there have been a few outages throughout the year - maybe two or three each year.

We are very happy with the product and after trying some different software to try and save costs, we ended up spending more on manual administrative tasks that Jackrabbit do automatically. We have returned to this superior product.

Pros

Jackrabbit Music have a great quality database with all the features we need which cuts down on administration labour - such as billing, pro rata, automatic reminder emails to customers, book your own makeup classes. The other amazing feature is the detailed reports available that are completely customisable.

Cons

Just a few of the American language, spelling and back to front dates. We are an Australian customer and it hasn't been fully switched to the way we do things in Oz.

Tuition post is tedious and not automatic. Recently, we’ve been having problems adding new staff. Repeating Costumers are not being asked to update their info at registration, which causes issues
