Overall good experience, certainly better than not having it and does save time when creating account plans and PG strategies.

Pros

Access to contact info, company info and other data relevant to prospecting new customers. The ability to have it live in CRM is nice.

Cons

As with other similar services one challenge is accurate data on private companies and stale data, especially from smaller orgs.

Overall, ZoomInfo has been a crucial part of my day to day in sales with prospecting and allows me to not only easily import contact information into the CRM I use (Salesforce) but it also allows me to focus on target accounts.

Pros

I have to prospect a lot in my role and gathering contact information, specifically emails and mobile numbers, has been a huge help. In addition, I'm able to apply settings to specific accounts to receive alerts on company updates that are relevant to my role - making it easier to reach out.

Cons

Very frequently, the information is outdated. I find mobile numbers can be incorrect, and there are a lot of privacy concerns from individuals when I reach out using the information ZoomInfo has collected.

Solid platform with great data and insights on everything you need when you are prospecting your ICP'S.

Pros

Very useful for contact data and for pushing contacts to my CRM. I enjoy the fact that it also gives you scoops and intent signals on companies you are trying to prospect.

Cons

The login window for the extension or even to get on the platform, it takes ages to load and bugs out all the time.

I would say it's one of the mandatory database tools if you are part of a marketing, sales, or lead generation team.

Pros

ZoomInfo offers a vast database and seamless integration. I especially love the LinkedIn plugin — it’s incredibly useful for lead generation and has become one of my go-to tools.

Cons

Pricing is a little high-SMEs are moving to Apollo for the same reason. The platform includes several unnecessary features. While the database isn’t 100% accurate, its overall quality is still impressive.

I am a salesperson. I hunt for new business every single day. Sometime I run into a brick wall (gatekeeper) and ZoomInfo is another tool that I can use to help get directly to the correct prospect / decision maker. I love how many times the person that I need and their e-mail address is listed in the portal for me to use!

Pros

I do like the amount a accurate details you can gain from the portal when looking up a business / direct contact information. It will often list the contact that you need, their e-mail, and sometimes their cell number. All super helpful!

Cons

It must be expensive because our management team sure likes to jam it down our throats every chance that they get. It is hard to believe that us dumb salespeople were ever able to get anything done before we implemented ZoomInfo!

Very positive so far but need to keep an eye on credits and wary of their contracutal stance regarding cancellation.

Pros

Nice clean interface and extensive features with quality data. Pretty easy to setup and a great tool for lead generation

Cons

Is costly and will need time to properly extract real value. Need to be careful with credits as they mount up quickly

I first used ZoomInfo Sales in 2018. Since then I have worked for three companies, and two of them bought it after I showed them what it could do. I must be a huge ZoomInfo Champion or just want my companies to succeed.

Pros

I love that you can find out direct lines and email addresses from the people you need to contact as a sales representative.

Cons

The cost can be a burden to some, but I dislike that phone numbers are not updated enough to the point 10% are probably wrong.

The depth and accuracy of their contact database have made prospecting significantly easier, and I’ve been able to connect with decision-makers I likely wouldn’t have found otherwise. The platform’s search and filtering tools are intuitive, allowing me to quickly build targeted lists that match my ideal customer profile.

Pros

I appreciate the intent data and company insights - it’s like having a window into which accounts are actively in the market. This has helped me prioritize outreach and focus my time on high-potential opportunities. The integration with our CRM has been smooth, which means less time on admin work and more time selling.

Cons

While the data quality is strong overall, there are occasional inaccuracies or outdated contacts, which can be frustrating when you’re relying on it for high-volume outreach.

Okay experience and not a bad solution but feel that there are more cost effective tools on the market.

Pros

Data quality was okay, particularly for the US. Good search tools within the platform (although prefer Cognism UI)

Cons

Felt like it was an expensive option compared to other products on the market and sales team constantly trying to upsell new expensive addons & features. Not as strong with EU contact data. Never saw anything of value from intent feature.

Very persistent but professional. tried to work with me to spread the payments out instead of paying for a full year up front

Pros

It has good search capabilities. I liked all the filters I could apply. Downloading was pretty straightforward and easy to use.

Cons

For me it was unaffordable. They wanted a year payment in advance which was another deal killer. Also, the short time I used it, i got alot more bad email addresses than anticipated
