### "Reliable Sales Prospecting Platform"

June 30, 2026

4.0

We've been using ZoomInfo Sales for about four years, and overall it's been a valuable tool for lead generation and prospecting. It has helped us identify new opportunities and save time building prospect lists. While we're happy with the platform, we'd like to see better coverage and more accurate contact data for Canadian businesses, as that's where we've noticed the biggest gaps.

Pros

ZoomInfo Sales made it much easier and quicker to find new prospects. The contact database is extensive, and the filters helped us build targeted lead lists quickly, saving time compared to researching companies manually.

Cons

The contact database wasn't always accurate, especially for Canadian companies. Some contacts were outdated or no longer with the organization, so we still had to spend time verifying leads before reaching out.

### "Great Sales enablement platform. "

December 15, 2025

4.0

Solid platform with great data and insights on everything you need when you are prospecting your ICP'S.

Pros

Very useful for contact data and for pushing contacts to my CRM. I enjoy the fact that it also gives you scoops and intent signals on companies you are trying to prospect.

Cons

The login window for the extension or even to get on the platform, it takes ages to load and bugs out all the time.

### "Highly Aggressive Commercial Terms, Disappointing Product – SME Buyers Beware"

May 21, 2025

1.0

Our experience with ZoomInfo has been overwhelmingly negative. We engaged in good faith, found the product lacking, attempted to exit appropriately, and were then subjected to aggressive and inflexible enforcement, despite ZoomInfo having confirmed in writing that the renewal was void. They have since ignored that position entirely. This feels less like a technology partner and more like a commercial trap. Their approach appears intentionally structured to exploit SMEs who may lack the legal resources to contest their tactics. The level of customer care is virtually nonexistent, and any conversation quickly turns contractual. For additional context, their Trustpilot rating is currently 1.6 out of 5. That alone should serve as a significant warning to others. Our recommendation is simple: avoid ZoomInfo. There are better products, better commercial practices, and better companies to deal with.

Pros

In fairness, the user interface is well presented, and the breadth of integrations and feature marketing is impressive on paper. The onboarding process was structured, and initial contact with their sales team was professionally handled.

Cons

The reality of using the product was a sharp contrast to its presentation. The intent data, heavily marketed as a core value proposition, proved consistently inaccurate and ultimately unusable by our outbound team. Despite significant internal efforts, we saw little to no meaningful return, and our team quickly stopped using the platform altogether. Far more concerning, however, is ZoomInfo's commercial posture. Despite providing a written communication confirming that our renewal had been voided, they later reversed their position and began aggressively pursuing payment for a further year of service. This is despite full knowledge that we do not use, and do not want, the product. Their actions demonstrate a complete absence of commercial integrity and reflect a business model built on rigid enforcement rather than value delivery. Their pricing tactics are similarly problematic – initial proposals run into five figures per month, only to be heavily discounted under pressure. Even at the reduced rate, the product failed to justify its cost. Their entire operation appears structured to extract maximum revenue with minimal accountability, and to lock businesses into unfavourable terms with no regard for the actual experience or outcome.

### "The perfect way to understand your prospects."

May 24, 2026

5.0

We've used ZoomInfo for several years. It's been vital for us to build out our contact database and to better understand the dynamics within our potential customers.

Pros

Zoominfo is a great way to go deep into any contact or organization that you are interested in connecting with. It has a wealth of features such as intent signals, and a great depth of data.

Cons

It's a great product but you need to put in the time and effort to get a good return on the annual cost.

### "ZoomInfo-Top Data for a Reason"

June 4, 2025

4.0

Overall we were happy with ZoomInfo for the most part. It allowed some complex searches and customization for a niche industry in real estate, but ultimately we ran into issues with the accuracy of the data and the ability to find contacts. I wouldn't blame this on ZoomInfo however, more so the industry. Overall, their platform and Market Intelligence features were widely used on our team and we were able to source good results and updates from the search!

Pros

There is a reason why ZoomInfo has been the top company for business prospecting, and they have a massive database of contacts. Having the contacts is key and that was our biggest factor in using ZoomInfo. We were able to quickly and relatively accurately identify target companies and contacts within all of our markets across the country.

Cons

Cost. Zoom Info, while they have the data, are also the highest price point vendor from our research and it's incredibly prohibitive for smaller businesses to utilize. That may be their intention as they seem more geared towards larger sales orgs. I also noted that for some accounts, their contact data hadn't been updated recently.

### "Easy access to sales prospect's contact info and job role."

October 1, 2025

3.0

I am a salesperson. I hunt for new business every single day. Sometime I run into a brick wall (gatekeeper) and ZoomInfo is another tool that I can use to help get directly to the correct prospect / decision maker. I love how many times the person that I need and their e-mail address is listed in the portal for me to use!

Pros

I do like the amount a accurate details you can gain from the portal when looking up a business / direct contact information. It will often list the contact that you need, their e-mail, and sometimes their cell number. All super helpful!

Cons

It must be expensive because our management team sure likes to jam it down our throats every chance that they get. It is hard to believe that us dumb salespeople were ever able to get anything done before we implemented ZoomInfo!

### "If you’re in lead generation, ZoomInfo Sales is a valuable application to use."

October 10, 2025

4.0

I would say it's one of the mandatory database tools if you are part of a marketing, sales, or lead generation team.

Pros

ZoomInfo offers a vast database and seamless integration. I especially love the LinkedIn plugin — it’s incredibly useful for lead generation and has become one of my go-to tools.

Cons

Pricing is a little high-SMEs are moving to Apollo for the same reason. The platform includes several unnecessary features. While the database isn’t 100% accurate, its overall quality is still impressive.

### "ZoomInfo for B2B Software Sales"

January 9, 2026

4.0

Overall, ZoomInfo has been a crucial part of my day to day in sales with prospecting and allows me to not only easily import contact information into the CRM I use (Salesforce) but it also allows me to focus on target accounts.

Pros

I have to prospect a lot in my role and gathering contact information, specifically emails and mobile numbers, has been a huge help. In addition, I'm able to apply settings to specific accounts to receive alerts on company updates that are relevant to my role - making it easier to reach out.

Cons

Very frequently, the information is outdated. I find mobile numbers can be incorrect, and there are a lot of privacy concerns from individuals when I reach out using the information ZoomInfo has collected.

### "Solid prospecting database"

February 9, 2026

4.0

Overall good experience, certainly better than not having it and does save time when creating account plans and PG strategies.

Pros

Access to contact info, company info and other data relevant to prospecting new customers. The ability to have it live in CRM is nice.

Cons

As with other similar services one challenge is accurate data on private companies and stale data, especially from smaller orgs.

### "Be careful - they oversold us big time"

May 5, 2026

1.0

I was massively disappointed by how little data we were able to get on our ICP. Our investment in ZoomInfo was a ware.

Pros

The initial sample dataset provided during the sales process was of decent quality. It made me think that ZoomInfo would have good data.

Cons

The platform did not in fact provide additional data above and beyond the original sample. I was misled and grossly oversold in the sales process.

### "Easily the worst company I've ever done business with"

September 10, 2020

3.0

TL;DR — This company does not care one iota about customer service. They do not care about you or your business. They don't care about maintaining a good relationship in the pit of a pandemic. And even when times are fine, they don't care about giving you what they said they'd give you. Here’s the experience \* I spent three months telling the sales rep exactly what I needed. \* Each time I explained it, she said something like, “Our plans just changed since last we spoke, but yes our current offer can meet your needs.” Confusing as all get-out every time she explained it. \* Finally decided to try it, because since they’ve bought out their competitors they’re the only one we could use. \* After two days we realized something was very wrong. \* They basically said, “Oh you need another plan for that.” Note: we did exactly what we said we’d do. \* Kicked it up to sales person’s manager: After 5 mins of listening, “Shoot, we’ve got you on the wrong plan.” Did they change our plan and admit their mistake? Nope... 363 days with the wrong plan and nothing we could do about it but give them more money and hope it would be different. \* We improvised with what we had as best we could, lost a lot of time, didn’t yield what we needed. \* Nine months later I get a surprising call from their collections agency telling me I have to pay a bill. These guys never called me, never sent an “in this together” email. In April, the pit of the pandemic, they just shot me over to collections. Wow.

Pros

The data quality is good and has improved over the past few years. This has been accomplished through numerous acquisitions of competitors, and either they were always a terrible company or the disarray from M&A has cast them into such chaos that all they can do is sell whatever they can get people to agree to buying, and operate a platform. Whatever benefit they provide is so overwhelmingly overshadowed by their apathy and lethargy as a firm that I'm repeatedly reminded of interactions with corrupt functionary bureaucrats in failed states every time I deal with them. This may sound like hyperbole, but I assure you that it is not. I specialize in emerging markets and the only time I've ever seen behavior like I have at this company is in the most forgotten and ungoverned parts of the world — the places where if you don't like what they're serving, or if they didn't do what they promised, you can just go shove it or pay them more and hope that you finally get what you need... eventually.

Cons

We were sold the wrong benefits despite roughly three months of discussing our needs with the sales rep, and the company did absolutely nothing to amend this despite the sales manager's first impression on reviewing the problem being, "Oh shoot, we've got you on the completely wrong plan." So I'm not sure because it only sometimes met our needs and the company never revised our plan and blithely ignored our requests for them to do so.

Reason for choosing ZoomInfo Sales

They've bought their competitors. I'd love to find a decent alternative and give them all my money at this point.

Switched from

DiscoverOrg bought ZoomInfo and billed it as the better option for smaller companies. Despite an underwhelming experience with DiscoverOrg, I prayed for something better with ZoomInfo and was absolutely painstaking in making sure I was getting what I needed from a plan with them. Needless to say, I didn't get what I needed whatsoever and, worse, they did nothing to fix it.

### "Good product"

April 15, 2022

4.0

My experience with ZoomInfo has been solid. There have been some bumps, but when I communicated my experience and dissatisfaction with them in an appropriate way their team acted appropriately and reasonably to accommodate my concerns. They have a strong customer service team, and I would recommend this product to anyone looking to utilize a system like this who is willing to spend the money.

Pros

ZoomInfo is a very solid product and their service offerings are ever-expanding. I think they realize that they have been the major player in the market for a while now, however the market is starting to catch up, so they are adding new features, focusing on what their customers want and features they will utilize in order to offer them or better product and more streamlined system.

Cons

The system is very expensive and the data accuracy is not the best. These are really my only two complaints. Although they are big ones, you will find the same issues with data in any provider you go to, no matter their claims. Some will be better than others, but then they will be lacking in other areas.

### "ZoomInfo is a great tool, depending on your needs and budget"

December 12, 2019

5.0

It was great before DiscoverOrg bought them and is surely improving by the day with DiscoverOrg.

Pros

Contains probably 80%+ records that have email address and/or direct dials. It is way more accurate than the data offered by other providers. Their accuracy is in line for what it should be, especially in today\`s economy with unemployment being so low, and employee churn being so high. Despite these factors, I\`d say their overall data accuracy is easily north of 70 - 75%, even with the above-mentioned data decay (which exists no matter what vendor you consider). One other tool that helps to narrow down the list of contacts in a larger organization, is to search with filter to find only recently verified contacts.

Cons

It\`s a little pricey, but there\`s a lot of value too. The only other criticism is that unless you pay for a large number of "points" (contact that you can download in bulk) you are relegated to copy and paste at the individual level. It\`s a bit cumbersome (by design), but I have used it as-is for years, without the additional credits.

Reason for choosing ZoomInfo Sales

Best bang for the buck; simple!

### "Overall, ZoomInfo Sales is Great!"

December 19, 2024

5.0

Overall, I am a big ZoomInfo Sales fan. The user friendly design is intuitive, and it has lots of tools to help me find people I often didn't even know. I was looking for. However, when compared with other people-finding tools its information is occasionally out of date.

Pros

ZoomInfo Sales is the only place I know I can go and regularly get the phone numbers of the folks I'm trying to contact. It's also very user friendly, offering me helpful suggestions to expand or narrow my search as needed.

Cons

When cross referenced with other people-finding tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Hunter.io) ZoomInfo Sales sometimes has conflicting/inaccurate information. This is not the norm by any means though.

Very positive. It makes my daily activities a lot more efficient as I can gather contact details at the click of a button while still using other systems.

Pros

I love how easy I can find the contact details for my active leads. I particularly like the chrome extensions which allows me to gather contact details whilst using other systems, such as our CRM.

Cons

### "Comprehensive Data, But Expensive for Smaller Teams"

October 1, 2024

4.0

ZoomInfo is a solid tool for market intelligence and contact discovery, but the price and occasional inaccuracies in the data can be frustrating. It’s well-suited for larger organizations that can justify the cost.

Pros

ZoomInfo offers an extensive database of contacts and company information, which is valuable for prospecting and lead generation. The depth of data, including firmographics and technographics, is highly useful.

Cons

The high cost of ZoomInfo can be prohibitive, especially for smaller teams. Additionally, some of the data is outdated or inaccurate, which can lead to wasted outreach efforts.

### "Tons of contacts, a bit clunky and expensive "

February 24, 2023

3.0

It helped me find prospects that I can reach out to with cold email campaigns and I didn't have to spend hours and hours generating my own lists, so it saved me tons of time. Before ZoomInfo, I would spend 4-5 hours generating a manual list of 50 folks. Post ZoomInfo, I could pull a list of 500 people in 5 minutes.

Pros

There are a tons of accurate contact information in the platform, which is great. It was very easy to set up lists for different parts of the country so I could come in every day and pull prospect lists of folks that I want to reach out to. It was also very easy to go in and find one-off contact information for folks that I may stumble upon on LinkedIn or something.

Cons

ZoomInfo charges you a per contact fee and the filtering is difficult to funnel out folks that aren't applicable to me. Often times my list still has folks that aren't my ideal prospect. And filtering them out again before I export to Excel and am charged a credit is nearly impossible and very cumbersome. I wish that piece was easier.

### "Review for Zoominfo - Good idea of it but inaccurate data"

July 17, 2022

3.0

We wanted a prospecting tool that helps us in finding new contacts that might be interested in our products/services. The tool has helped us in designing personas and then getting data out for lead generation activities.

Pros

I would say it is very easy to use when it comes to the best thing about ZoomInfo. The intent tools are great and help in finding out up to 6 topics per account. The UX are good. The chrome extension is good that helps in visiting any website and finding out the contacts within that company.

Cons

The data that we have been getting is inaccurate, we have contacted Zoominfo a few times and they said that they check data every 6 months, in 6 months people do change jobs which results in high bounces. Secondly, it is very expensive, whereas competitors offer great pricing (Cognism, etc). I mean the idea of it is really great but in reality, it is not the most recommended tool.

### "ZoomInfo is worth the money"

September 9, 2021

4.0

When I joined Mygo Consulting last year, there was no easy way to get a large number of qualified leads and their contact information, so getting ZoomInfo solved that very quickly. And Websights solved the issue of identifying visitors to our website. I have found the accuracy of the contact information to be over 90%, which is much higher than other databases I have used in the past. Overall, I have been very satisfied with their platform.

Pros

There are several features in ZoomInfo that are important to me. The first is the ability to tailor lead lists for email and prospecting campaigns. The next features that I use on a daily basis are Websights and Opportunity Scoops. Websights tells me what companies visited our website, and I recently added Hotjar to show me their activity while they visited. That gives me the ability to reach out with a very targeted message based on where they went. The opportunity scoops gives me leads that our sales team can get in touch with and talk about how we can help with the upcoming projects that are listed.

Cons

Two things that I have discussed in the past that I would like to see improved are the technology stacks that ZoomInfo reports in each company. There has been a higher amount of inaccuracy than I used to see. The other improvement would be for more detailed information in the Websights feature. It is hard to see what pages a visitor went to, which is why we added Hotjar.

Reason for choosing ZoomInfo Sales

Both products cost less than ZoomInfo, but neither had all of the features that ZoomInfo offers that were important to me

### "$60K for lists they will make you delete once your term is over. Very crafty tricks in the contract."

May 9, 2023

2.0

I feel like I was robbed. I paid $60K for sub-par contact lists that I don't get to keep. I was under the impression when I signed up as a licensee, that I was purchasing the contact lists and they were ultimately going to be property of my company, since we paid for them. There is an element of misdirection in the 3yr agreement. The actual document that you sign doesn't contain any language pertaining to the licensee being required to destroy all contact lists purchased through the fee agreement, instead there is link in the document, which takes you to a completely different site and legal document, where it lays out the requirements for the licensee to destroy all lists after the term of service. You will not own the lists for which you just paid $60K. RIP-OFF!

Pros

Ease of use was probably the only thing I liked about ZoomInfo.

Cons

Aside from the sleezy misdirection and deliberately misleading sales tactics used to get you signed on as a user, I found the data itself to be stale and often completely wrong. Titles, Companies, emails, numbers, etc.,....were often incorrect, and this of course led to quite a few embarrassing communications with would be prospects. When incorrect information is identified, there's no-one to whom you can report it. All along you're wondering how much more of this data, you just spent $60K on is actually correct.

### "Great Contact Data Platform with Additional Benefits for Customer Engagement"

September 9, 2021

4.0

Overall, my team really likes Zoominfo. It's simple, easy to use, and gives us the type of information that we need for our sales team to be successful. It's a great additional to pair with our other tools, and it extra helpful when it comes to finding contacts on LinkedIn.

Pros

My team really likes Zoominfo! It allows us to easily pull contact data for our sales team. The variety of filter options make the platform easy to use, and makes list pulling quick and simple. We love the Websights feature that allows us to see which companies have been on our site. And we really love the intent data that the platform provides! It's great to be able to cross reference the websights with the intent data to not only see who has been on our site and the pages they have viewed, but also it also allows us to focus on other products or services that the company is showing interest in when our sales team does outreach.

Cons

I wish the platform were quicker at updating contact and company records, and I wish that we would be actively updated on requests we have made in regards to these updates. I have submitted a few update requests, but they seem to die after the request is submitted because nobody reaches out to tell me the update has been complete, or when the update will be done. I have checked back in on records months later to see that they still were not updated with my request. Many of these have been HQ address updates.
