Pros: Design and Prototype. In these two terms, simple and direct, Adobe XD groups its tools under a clean and clear interface that will not give problems; even those who are not familiar with Adobe's apps.

Work with artboards and layers, just like in Illustrator and Photoshop; and as expected, import all your assets from these easily. Cool!

Set of simple but competent design tools (vectors, texts, forms, lines...); enough for most cases (if you start your designs from scratch in the application).

Share your work with your team, on your PC through links, or by the mobile application (XD Prototypes).

Support your work in Adobe cloud storage. If you do so, your team can leave comments and notes linked to the project artboards (just one design at a time for the free start plan).

The application gives you tutorials and valuable UI kits that will allow you to replicate the style of the most popular interfaces (iOS, Windows, Google Material).

Create grids, lists and repetitive elements easily and accurately with 'Repeat Grid'. Undoubtedly, the star tool of XD.

Templates available for most of the available devices (IPhone, Android, Microsoft).

Build your prototypes and navigation systems easily by linking your artboards and design elements with the drag and drop tool (Prototype mode). And at the same time you get an accurate view of the architecture of your site or application. Variety of transitions and effects to style your application.

Cons: If you are a PC user, you must have at least Windows 10 to use the application.

If you decide to be serious with the application you will have to pay for any of the available plans to have enough storage space and enable all the collaborative capabilities.

Unlike Sketch, is not possible to add functionality through plugins. Undoubtedly this has weighed a bit its expansion and acceptance, since all the development depends directly on Adobe.

Although some design specifications can be exported, it is not yet possible to translate the designs to CSS.

Limited or not-so-designed design tools, such as those provided by InVision or Sketch, for example.

Overall: If you are a user of the Adobe ecosystem, there is no easier way to test your UI designs.

Access your work from anywhere through the Adobe cloud.

Pros: Adobe has gotten so much "right" with Adobe XD. It's refreshing and encouraging.

At this point, Adobe XD has a decently rich feature set, but it has taken a while to get to this point, and a lot of designers have decided to stick with or move on to Sketch and Figma.

One of my favorite features is the repeating grid. Take any element or group of elements, press cmd+r, and you can drag to the right, bottom, or both and the item(s) will repeat. You can also quickly click and drag to adjust the gutter, the space in-between the repeating items.

Prototyping is also built in. It's not a feature I've used as much, but from my experimenting, it seems to be implemented well.

Cons: Adding features has been a fairly slow process. Ultimately I appreciate the approach as opposed to rushing out poor implementations of features, but it's difficult to adapt XD for projects when the feature set is lacking.

I'm diving back into XD after a period of using Figma and the state of features has improved, but I'm still waiting to see if there are key features lacking.

Overall: Of the tools I've tried (Illustrator, XD, Sketch, Figma, Affinity Designer), XD has been the smoothest most intuitive tool for UI design.

Pros: The experience I have been having with Adobe XD is a pleasure. XD is handy and easy to use having used both Illustrator and Photoshop I am impressed with XD the interface is intuitive and easy, quite fluid. XD makes everything easier. It is actually the little things like copying and pasting results in the copied element appearing on the same spot and grids and measurements help create pixel perfect mockups, yet with enough flexibility and speed for low fidelity mockups. This really is good. Overall, designing interfaces and visual experiences for various devices has never been so fast and easy as with XD.

Cons: With XD its compatibility with other software like Sketch is lacking and using the layer panel needs a bit of a different approach from other Adobe products. Please fix this. Help other and take some time to do some online video tutorials. There should be rulers unless I am the one who can't find them.

Pros: As a Health Information Manager, I really like having the ability to combine files. I work with a lot of files that are one-sided and two-sided, for the same patient. So I have to scan them separately and then combine them before attaching them to the record in our EMR.

Cons: I've got to say there isn't anything that I don't like about this software but, I have not experienced every feature available.

Overall: The business problems that I am solving with this software include interoperability, because all of our systems require the .PDF format and time due to the powerful editing features.

Pros: I like that I can change any form, PDF, etc that I need to change and you can not tell! I like being able to sign at the same page.

Cons: Support if overseas and I can not explain clearly enough what I need help with. About one out of every 10 times I use it I come across something that says it can not be altered. Support was not able to help at all with this.

Overall: I am able to change Certificate of Insurance rather than typing the whole thing over again. I am able to sign my name right from the same edit screen. The software for changing things is very user friendly.

Pros: Adobe XD eases work needed in designing interfaces for app. and web development.I also like how I was able to get started with this program , as the user interface was similar to that of photoshop and illustrator ; which are both Adobe products ; thus ,I love that Adobe stuck with its familiar Ui in XD too.

By combining this program with Adobe illustrator ,I am able to make my ui/ux prototype pages interact with each other seamlessly, thus providing the perfect prototype designs to the team.

Cons: I still cannot imagine while I am unable to insert html codes , gif or video format files into my designs.

Pros: The software is very easy to use, especially after the Photoshop. It's very fast. It is more suitable for designing web and mobile applications than Photoshop. However, I think this first version is just the beginning. You can quickly and easily design the screens and export them for the iOS and Android platforms. You can easely draw vector design also. I personally use it more for wireframe than for myself UI design.

Cons: I think this is just the beginning but a very good start. The software can not be used for image processing or a more serious design. I think this softwere is more for beginners. I personally use it for wireframe and UX and less for UI design. One of the bad items is that you can not extract files into Photoshop. You can use Adobe Illustrator, but this process takes time. I hope this option will be inserted in the next version.

Overall: As I mentioned, I use it for a simpler design. It's very easy to use and fast. Everything is easily accessible to designers in one place. I hope the Dobe will improve the next version. Excellent for beginners and for quick design. Easily exporting files for all platforms.

Pros: I like that I can design and prototype in the same tool. I like how simple it is to use - I often have my boss go in and tweak things on projects and he has been able to learn it quickly. The prototype sharing is also braindead simple. The biggest pro for me is the art board format and how quickly I can navigate around between art boards.

Cons: It's lacking a little in functionality on the prototyping side since it's a new piece of software. I have noticed, however, that functionality is being added constantly.

Pros: I saw this demoed at the Adobe MAX conference a few years back when in was call Project Comet. I knew then that it was a game changer. You can use it for almost any rapid prototype you want to create. TONS of user added content.

Cons: Slight learning curve. If you are familiar with Adobe UI, it will make it easier. You need a decent machine to get all the great hardware accelerated features. You also need a Creative Cloud license, but if you are a graphic professional, you should have one.

Pros: The software is nice and clean. It doesnt overpower you with lot of functionality and features and has a relatively lean learning curve compared to other software in the same category. Its also well embedded in the Adobe ecosystem, and if you are already part of that, this is a decent choice.

Cons: Compared to Sketch, Adobe XD is a downgrade, the flexibility and functionality isnt really there yet, even the plugin support and library is not as vast and advanced as sketch. Finding resources for sketch is far more easier than for XD. It also lacks some basic funtionality which will greatly improve your work flow. I only use it when its neccessary.

Overall: It blends well with the other Adobe products I have, its a good integration and makes life a bit easier. But when it comes to hardcore designing and collaborating with my clients, sketch is the standard and everyone has it to begin with.

Pros: I really like using XD. For someone with little experience, prototyping was made less daunting for me by XD's uncluttered interface (unlike other Adobe products). My XD prototypes have been so successful that some people have actually mistaken them for the real product during presentations. Also love that I can hold prototypes online and just update the link through XD whenever there is an edit to the file.

Cons: For a product that's completely free, I have no complaints.

Overall: XD is a great starter prototyping tool. If you need something just to show flows, with minimal viewer interaction (ie no need to input text), it gets the job done wonderfully.

Pros: I LOVE the how easy it was to learn to use -- since I've been using the Adobe Suite for 10 years already most of it was so intuitive. They keep adding new features and improving it even more. And I enjoy watching live demos on Behance to stay current on the details of what's new.

Cons: I wanted it to have more of the functionality of Photoshop and Illustrator but I've come to understand that part of it's beauty is the simplicity. I already have PS and AI if needed.

Overall: Very easy to jump right in and start using it without much of a learning curve. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone doing web or app design!

Pros: The ability to integrate highly within adobe products. The ease of it's functionality and controls. To be able to mock up something in Photoshop and with the click of a button, port it into XD and make it a functional prototype, is pure gold. The way it handles layers and animation is good, but could still be improved a lot. For those who are familiar with Adobe, and it's products, this will be a very small learning curve.

Cons: The ability to ONLY integrate within adobe products. My design team has recently migrated to using Sketch for all UI/UX design as it's more robust and lite weight. The plugin availability is also a huge draw.

Pros: It's very powerful and comes with lots of tools to get your next project started. For ex. interface library elements. It's very helpful when you need to work quickly. I also like that the prototyping feature is built into the software. I don't mind using a sketch + Invision combination but having it all in one place is nice.

Cons: Because it's so complex and powerful, the software is a little overwhelming at first. But I quickly learned my way around it. I think there are lots of ways to use that I don't even know about still.

Pros: It's quick and easy to learn and use. Rewards intelligent use of styles and grouping to make massive changes with a click of the button. loads lightning fast and allows live comps without extra work.

Cons: There are some head-scratching choices they've made that mean I can't yet leave Photoshop for XD as my go-to web design software. Why is there no export assets function? Why can't I even export image assets from XD in the dimensions and cropping I'm using them in on XD? I would have to go back into Photoshop and slice up my images there, which is not optimal. It's also almost too simplistic, you keep thinking that you must not understand the program and must be missing something, but no, there's really not much to this program. I understand they're trying to keep it simple, but it's almost too dumbed down to be useful by a serious professional.

Overall: Super fast design iteration and changes if you have a picky and indecisive client who needs tons of changes.

Pros: We historically used Photoshop (or worse, Keynote) for prototyping web design. XD is way more user friendly. And, being designed specifically for that purpose, has tools and templating that are invaluable to the prototyper. Plus, being a newer CC product, they've been upping the feature list pretty regularly.

Cons: There are a few limitations...it's difficult to design for responsiveness, some animations and common UX interactions aren't there. A big headache used to be rollover/hover behavior, but a recent update addressed that. Ultimately, you're just building a prototype, so it's not going to work like the end product will.

Overall: Building web pages, email layouts, even some presentations and workflows/charts.

Pros: I appreciate that Adobe now has a product that rivals Sketch. As a design studio, my team and I work mostly in the Adobe Creative Cloud, and it's incredibly useful to have a prototyping tool built into our plan. The interface is similar to the other Adobe products, so it feels familiar and was very easy to learn.

Cons: XD doesn't offer any kind of animation or interaction functionality. While you can use the product to create a functioning prototype with working buttons, there are no hover, scroll, press interactions or ability to animate objects. Unless Adobe includes this functionality in the future, my team will likely move to InVision studio for our prototypes.

I love to use this program with our designers, it makes the process simple & straight forward.

Pros: This program is so easy when it comes to working with designers. They can create and ad for whatever we need and then if I want to change the copy I can duplicate them and simple change what I want.

Cons: Not being a designer there are tools in here that I am not familiar with. It is not always the most straight forward thing to teach someone how to use if you are creating something from scratch.

Overall: The benefits of this product are that when working with a designer they can create ad/image for you and if you ever want to change the copy it is simple. If you ever need to re-size an image and keep in proportion you can just create a new art board and do it that way so you dont distort anything.

Pros: This is a great solution that makes it easy for developers AND designers to work on projects together. I find that it's a good solution that keeps everyone happy - making features available to developers so they can see spacing and styles of web projects easily, and still including customization features designers love. I'm a new user but looking forward to seeing more of what this program can really do.

Cons: There are a couple of glitches still. When opening the same files on Mac and PC versions of XD, sometimes the text renders differently so that the bounding boxes of the text areas cut off letters, which is odd.

Overall: We have switched our whole web design process over to XD. It's easy for everyone and allows us to move seamlessly between design and development.

Pros: it's easy to use. If you want to quickly draw a simple mobile app or a simple web page then this software is perfect for your. Easy to find functions, it is easy to use in general. You do not have to have much experience in web design and mobile design to use it. It's also good for designing mobile applications for the iOS and Android platform because it offers you the dimensions of the screens.

Cons: Files can not be exported to Adobe Photoshop! This is not a complete software for designing a professional mobile application or a professional website. It needs to be upgraded so that it can be used instead of Adobe Photoshop.

Overall: Quick and easy drawing of mobile applications or simple web pages. Drawing vireframe in an easy and fast way.

Pros: From the opening menu they make it easy to jump in with the most up to date templates - iPhone, iPad, and Web. The tool interface, consisting of 8 main tools is extremely simple to understand and start building the sections of your site. The secondary menu on the right gives you further options like color, shadow, transparency etc that makes customizing very quick. The whole program is designed to be simple like this, enabling your ideas to flow and not get hung up on how to technically navigate the software. I think the biggest thing I love is XD takes a lot of the intimidation factor out of attempting to build your site and makes the process fun and easy.

Cons: For the flat style of most modern web sites it's a perfect fit - but as styles shift from flat and simple interface to possibly more complex designs I'm not sure if XD will (without updates) be able to adapt beyond flat UI.

Cons: The video interface needs improvement, and also animation and flash plugins should be added. Also the support center can sometimes be hard to reach and deal with as the product is new and still there are improvements to be made.

Pros: Adobe XD is very easy to understand and operate than other adobe suits. It is minimal yet packed with enough features.

Cons: I was unable to see my designs in mobile, I was really hoping to use that feature. There should an option to directly pack the apk. They can do that because they have another product (phonegap) doing just that.

Pros: Simple to use and has the basic elements to design mockups with navigation. You can share the project done very easily for review by other users. You can download free UI kits for Google material, Apple iOS, Microsoft Windows and wireframes, to start designing based on a standard. You can very easily import a large variety of image formats to be used within the program.

Cons: There are not as many free templates to download as with other similar professional software. The options to export to other programs have yet to be improved. It does not have export of assets, although you can import them from other Adobe programs.

Overall: Create mockups in a simple and fast way.

Pros: This software is very user friendly. Easy to learn the ropes and master the skills from the first use.

Was working on UI design tool that will work both on Mac ad Windows and this tool is awesome for this reason. Canvas' tools provided for the particular OS is very useful and intuitive. Repeat Grid , prototyping are very helpful features that I used a lot

Cons: Repeating objects are not working as I would expect. No css export available that would be very useful. Animation UI is not yet supporting XD

Overall: Its a potentially great tool for UX designers. Need some fixes and possible enhancements. Inspire of all those cons I would recommend to use this tool but be aware of its limitations

Pros: I like how the Adobe creative suite has a prototyping option that allows one to make flawlessly made desktop and mobile journeys that can be shown in real time. I appreciate the versatility of the software and the fact that it makes very decent desktop prototypes.

Cons: I dislike how it cannot be downloaded on all devices, the software is incompatible with windows machines, again favoring Apple hardware.

Overall: I generally like Adobe software, and this application allows for the sleek creation of beautiful prototypes that have benefited me in my projects at college.

Pros: I enjoy designing with this useful and easy-to-use tool, recording prototypes without the need for extra applications, it has a simple portability with other Adobe programs that allows it to be executed on different platforms and / or operating systems.

Cons: I would like your catalog of transitions was not so limited when protopitiar. It does not admit to make effects or prototypes more sharp, between elements within the same Artboards.

Overall: Adobe Experience Design offers new features such as the Repeart Grid Tool, some of the most outstanding, which allows us to add a set of images on a grid and this automatically manages the position of them, you will really enjoy designing.

Pros: - Intuitive Tools

- Flawless Alignment System

Cons: - Limited Features

- So-so Integration with Photoshop and Illustrator

Overall: Adobe XD is a great program with some minor issues. You can tell that it's lovingly crafted, and mocking up views is a joy.

The only real concern comes when it's time to export those mockups to another program. Neither Photoshop nor Illustrator import screens exactly as they're displayed in XD, so be prepared to do some cleanup work.

XD is still a young app by Adobe standards, and I fully expect them to iron out the kinks. I absolutely recommend it.

Pros: The conversion of static layout to dynamic happens in very less amount of time with minimum effort. It shows the preview without the requirement of iphones, ipads and android devices. Cons: Most of animating tools won't support XD in MAC. XD don't have exporting CSS option . Previewing prototype in smartphones through XD only supports in MAC.

Cons: I find XD to be awkward - it does not have any real photoimaging capabilities. Which is annoying and slows me done. I wish their was more integration with Illustrator and Photoshop. I like that it is a vector product its previews.

Cons: It lacks a lot of functionalities compared to their main competitor Sketch App. The price if you just buy it as standalone it is a little bit expensive and it is not just a one-time fee, you pay monthly.

Pros: Adobe XD is a great tool to design UI. It's easy to learn and work. Even though you don't have any previous experiences in working with Adobe applications you can learn to work in this software really quickly.

And also you can export components like buttons that you created in Xd separately from various sizes which are really helpful in android app development to create image buttons.

Another great feature in this is this that you can get UI kits to make your designing process easy.

Xd include so many temples of availabe devices. So you don't need to worry about the screen sizes

Cons: lack of tools in the toolbox and inability to convert the design to HTML,CSS or XML or any other format are the only concerns I see in this software .

It's also very cool to be able to access the prototype on your phone so that you can get a real feel to how an app design would work, rather than clicking through in a web browser on the computer.

Cons: I wish there were more options for drag and drop/already created features to allow for quicker wireframing/prototyping. Also, linking buttons to multiple screens can get a bit confusing.

Pros: Lot of UI kits are available to get you jump started on the tool. In addition the ability to work with layer and symbols and additionally import psd help to seemlesssly work with Photoshop

Cons: The tool has some way to go in adding terms of interactions to screen elements like form fields which are static as of now.

Pros: Much faster than using Photoshop and allows you to carry design elements across multiple 'pages' much easier. Is very useful for throwing together wireframes.

Cons: Limited tools seem to breed limited designs. I never feel like I have the same kind of power to design sophisticated designs in XD like I do in Photoshop.

Pros: It is another good tool of the Adobe product family, very efficient and intuitive to use, for the creation of prototypes and to share them easily, it includes many templates and components that will make it easier to use and create

Cons: One of the problems with this software is the minimum requirements, you should know that there are many types of users, but not all users have the latest equipment or operating systems, should create a light version for certain teams or with fewer resources and another normal with all its resources, so that all users can use their software without problems

Overall: Easy prototyping and very easy to share, many tools to try and use and many themes

Pros: I like how easy and intuitive the interface is, and how it's similar to other Adobe software. I also like how the demos can be viewed live, recorded live, and the ability to export them as a URL. Adobe XD has helped us tremendously in our design discussions with clients.

Cons: I wish that it'll be easier to edit assets globally more easily. At this moment, I'm spending a lot of time repeatedly making changes manually. It's painful. Also, I wish they catered better to users like us who use it to design websites. And the ability to demo forms better.

Overall: Easy to use, similar to other Adobe software, and the ability to share our mockups with clients easily via a URL or video recording.

Pros: Like Sketch, XD is easy to use, fast prototyping software, features are added every month albeit at a slow pace.

Cons: Some features are still lacking that makes this a game changer, like when designing the nav system it never stays the same place, apps like invision and sketch that solves that problem.

Pros: With a clean and consistent interface, it's easy to make projects as simple or complex as you would like.

Prototyping for browser, iphone, tablet and more is simple and looks professional and clean.

Compatible with Creative suite.

Cons: Clunky to use without keyboard shortcuts. I don't prefer the image masking tool as it's tricky to get aligned correctly.

I also wish there was a document sized artboard preset as I use for a lot of simple document mockups.

Sometimes the text took can behave strangely.

Overall: As a non-designer, I am able to execute on simple, quick design projects for my company, in addition to prototyping product features, which is XD's main function.

This is a great app for developing web design ideas internally and with clients.

Pros: It is great to design and prototype in one place! It is easy to work with - I like how easy is to change between artboards. This is my preferred tool.

Cons: The only minus I see is that it takes a bit time to learn to work with the app, especially for a beginner.

Overall: Prototyping and design in one app, I love it!

Pros: I love the simplicity getting away from the bulkiness of Photoshop to create an easier way to design websites in a flash. It's lite and quick, with some interesting features not found in other products like Sketch (like repeatable grids, for example). I love the integration with CC and libraries.

Cons: There's some bugs (like with all new software). Also, there seems to be a lot less features than a program like Sketch. For example, resizing an image within a mask should be easy to do from the layers panel by selecting the image within its mask...not so simple in XD.

Overall: The confidence of Adobe integration since I use all of their other products on a daily basis.

Pros: Great option for people already paying for an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Adobe XD will get the job done, just not as elegantly as other competing applications.

It has solid integration with the rest of the Adobe suite, but the software experience feels underdeveloped and is not as forward thinking as other web design software in comparison with competitors such as Sketch, or Framer.

Cons: No plugin architecture (If Invision is part of your workflow don't even bother). Limited consideration to animation. Poor value proposition for users not already locked into an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

Pros: Photoshop Compatibility. As someone comfortable in Adobe Photoshop, it is awesome to be able to create a prototype in PS, then convert it in XD to finish the functional interface.

Cons: As part of the Creative Cloud, it is a part of the subscription model. Compared to other options, if this were the only app/software in the Creative Cloud suite desired, it would be a poor value.

Overall: As a regular Photoshop user, I have tried my hand at UI development for my Escape Room business (as part of a puzzle). So far, it has been promising. Similar functionality to other Adobe software makes it easy to jump in.

Pros: I Love how easy and streamlined the process of learning and creating UI/UX design is, It simplifies creating prototypes so well that even with no experience it was very easy to navigate and create an effective design.

Cons: It's difficult for me to figure out how to create certain things, such as scrollable pages or fixed assets, but I imagine that is probably more my own lack of knowledge more than a con in the program.

Overall: It's introduced me to a world of design that I really enjoy learning and it's provided me with the resource to continue my design career with another great tool.

Pros: I like the snap-to template and design elements and the interface that lends itself to clean arrangements and easy linking to other pages.

Cons: It's a little feature lite (compared to other adobe products). I have to create more items in illustrator and photoshop than I'd like. It would be nice to have a more robust pen tool or shape set.

Overall: I'm amazed that this type of product exists. I always assumed App design and development belonged to a programmer. This interface is very easy to use and is underwhelming (rather than overwhelming). This product makes me want to turn everything into an app. It's great.

Pros: It resembles Sketch, which I was already familiar with, and also has prototyping functions built in (a huge plus) which Sketch does not have. Also, its PC and Mac friendly, which Sketch is not (sorry Sketch) and integrates features and plugins directly, with less bugs and glitches.

Cons: No code generation, so sites and apps can't go live without involving a developer. Not exactly a con, but Muse does generate code and is publishable via host site.

Overall: Rapid prototyping, simple and efficient layout creation and sharing, easy to hand off assets to developers.

Pros: Adobe XD is a great solution to create interactive interfaces to preview your app or website design. It has transitions, links and many other features. When designing a layout, you can create objects and export them as bitmap or vector. The price is quite fair for such a great app.

Cons: Since it's a new application, it misses some features and their usability is still improving.

Overall: I've consumed and made some adjustments in layouts created by designers with the solution. Compared to working with PSD files, it's a wonderful change!

Pros: It does exactly what it is supposed to do well, and it has all of the editing capabilities it needs to in order to customize. It does a great job of importing and vectorizing graphics, as well as generating flow maps from screen to screen.

Cons: It is a new interface to learn, coming from Sketch, but overall it is just like switching from one CAD program to the next. The same functionalities exist and the same logic applies, but it just might be in a different place in the menu.

Pros: The best feature on Adobe XD has to be its integration now with Adobe Photoshop. There are numerous other benefits over competitors such as Sketch like being able to use it with Creative Cloud.

Cons: When working with Sketch workflows, Adobe has quite a bit to fix to ensure smooth transition from Sketch for a lot of creative professionals out there.
