### "Create Professional Designs for the Websites"

July 22, 2020

5.0

My overall experience with Adobe XD is really important for me, because I have increase my designing skills just because of Adobe XD. I create designs in Adobe XD for my clients and then I move to the development process after the approval of my clients. All of my clients like these designs that I create and build in Adobe XD. So I am really happy with Adobe XD.

Pros

Adobe XD is the best software where you can create the designs of your websites, mobile applications, games, voice interfaces and more. The tools of this software are really easy to use and you can build beautiful templates and mockup.

Cons

As I explained that Adobe XD is really incredible software for the designers. According to my experience, interface and tools are really easy to understand. You can build a stunning desing within minutes. So as I know, there are no cons in this software.

### "Great with Adobe suite but not perfect"

February 11, 2021

4.0

My company uses it so I have no voice, but it is better than sketch.

Pros

It’s easy to use with the rest of the creative suite, especially illustrator.

Cons

Collaborating with others can be a challenge, especially when compared to Figma. It constantly shows a popup to accept remote changes, and I get confused whether I should save files as local docs or on iCloud depending on our needs

### "Adobe XD for UX process"

March 12, 2019

4.0

Don't listen to some vague online advice. This is not Sketch. It's better than Sketch for prototyping. Sketch lets you create static interfaces. Adobe XD, on the other hand, lets you create interactive prototypes. You don't have to use InVision or some other tool to add interactivity. It's all there. It's our job to test interactivity, not the look or the style of elements we use. However, we have a lot of people in the UX field now, who don't want to learn new skills, or actually do what UX-ers are supposed to do.

Pros

If you are a UX Designer, you want to wireframe and prototype quickly and this is the software for it. It's a vast improvements comparing to other prototype and wireframe tools. As a matter of fact you can create all UX artifacts with Adobe XD. However, I found the rapid prototyping the most useful attribute. Also you can easily present your prototypes online and communicate offline with your team.

Cons

It still doesn't have all the features necessery for prototyping. Especially if it comes to Web prototyping. It doesn't behave yet native to platforms.

### "Adobe XD review"

October 6, 2020

4.0

I was a bit reluctant to change to XD, mainly because of how it handles text, but there's no looking back now. A really good product, that integrates well with the Adobe Suite.

Pros

Ease of use. It's a specialist web tool, so makes for a superior experience to working with Photoshop or Illustrator. It's also a relatively new product, so doesn't have the bloat of some of its counterparts. This may mean it lacks some expected functionality, but it makes up for this in its ease of use. Having a components library that can be imported across files is amazing when working with other designers.

Cons

Using text blocks is too rudimental. Instead of being able to tab content to align fields, you have to create multiple text blocks and manually align them. This also goes for leading. In a single text block, you can't have different leading for different text types. So if you want a title to have extra padding, it requires creating a specific text block each time.

Is a software that allows a layman in programming to create a layout for a beautiful site. I never knew how to work with code, but I was able to program websites that I'm proud of.

Pros

The tool is very intuitive and easy to learn. it is part of the adobe package and delivers functionality integrated with various enterprise software

Cons

Despite having a very fluid worflow. Software still has a lot to improve, especially when scheduling application or site mapping

### "Perfect for designers, programmers and end customers"

December 29, 2019

5.0

I am a programmer and I design the websites based on designs made with Adobe XD.

Pros

Adobe XD is one of the most advanced tools I've been able to work with. Personally I don't design since I'm a programmer, but its CSS code functionalities and its ease to export images in different formats helps me a lot. Moreover, the fact that it can be displayed in a dynamic way and with actions on the buttons makes it a perfect program to show a prototype to the final customer.

Cons

You need a powerful computer, as for almost all design programs, if you don't have a good computer it will run a bit slow.

### "A powerful designing tool"

May 6, 2023

5.0

Pros

I have used this tool to design wireframes to my clients and at my office to do some prototypes. This can be integrated with illustrator and photoshop and can easily share the designs. There are lots of tools and features available to make designs easily.

Cons

I had to follow some tutorials before start using this because there's a learning curve for a beginner.

### "An awesome product - only lacks in user presentation"

November 24, 2019

5.0

Pros

This is a fabulous platform and prototyping software tool. It truly can say it has VASTLY improved from when it first got into the design game. The integration with sketch and obviously all Adobe products make it a big win. Check it out!

Cons

Still needs to incorporate animations and other eye-popping features which we all KNOW adobe can do for us. I believe it's just a matter of time. When presenting a product I want to be able to show as close to the final as possible - let's do this.

### "Better Software out there"

May 24, 2024

3.0

Pros

Adobe XD was easy to use and fit well into the Adobe CS ecosystem.

Cons

As Adobe XD has been discontinued, its development and support has stalled and there are better prototyping tools out there. I've only still got it to view legacy projects.

### "Adobe XD: a joke of a software"

August 24, 2022

2.0

I would not recommend Adobe XD (a joke of a name for a joke of a software) for user interface prototyping or web design to anyone, as it does not offer long-term support for your designs or hardware, and will charge you monthly for this. Instead, use Icons8's Lunacy, which both looks and works better, as well as supporting industry standards, for FREE!

Pros

Its user interface is slick and it's compatible with other Adobe software. That's all it's got going for it.

Cons

Only compatible with Windows 10 and up, subscription licensing, and quickly drops compatibility with older versions of even supported OSes, as well as not supporting industry-standard \*.sketch files, while every update adds useless cloud functions.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Dreamweaver](https://www.capterra.com/p/233245/Adobe-Dreamweaver/)[Lunacy](https://www.capterra.com/p/190996/Lunacy/)[Figma](https://www.capterra.com/p/175027/Figma/)

Reason for choosing Adobe XD

We did not; I went with Icons8 Lunacy, as it is free software and works long-term on my computer with support for industry standard filetypes.

### "Best software for designing user experience of website"

October 15, 2019

4.0

I work with xd daily and it is very easy to use and makes my life easier. I find photoshop to be more compliate rather than xd in terms of designing UI and I always prefer to use xd as it saves me a lot of time.

Pros

I have used this software for almost 1 year and it has some easy features and the most important thing is it has some grouping options which makes it really easier for designers to arrange the elements and design can be completed in few hours.

Cons

I still think this software is best for web user interface design but still some people prefer photoshop over xd and use it for designing. so I believe its mainly because of more features in photoshop. More features should be added like a demo template or something to attract more designers towards adobe xd.

### " Best tool for collaborative UX design work!"

July 7, 2021

5.0

I use Adobe XD DAILY! It helps me get online the last version of our UX works to be able to easily find the functional information that I need to develop our app. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly too!

Pros

I am in interaction with different teams to create a new app. I love the commodity of the sharing in real time in a common place to all our UX work. We do not need anymore to store versions and versions of PDF somewhere and lost some on the way!

Cons

When you have a name for a page that is specific and long and that you search for it in the carrousel, you do not have the full name displayed

### "It's cool, beautiful, and helps you design great apps"

November 5, 2023

5.0

An excellent experience. It left a great impression on me. I have not seen anything more beautiful than this program in this field

Pros

It's amazing, it's beautiful, and it helps in designing great applications. What can I say? I can't say more than that. It's amazing

Cons

Perhaps the only negative is the size and space, and I think it needs devices with fairly high specifications for a good and comfortable experience.

### "A good - but not awesome - software for UI"

September 20, 2022

4.0

Overall, Adobe XD it's a good software for early wireframes and prototyping. And is really interesting for UI animations and integration with other Adobe's products.

Pros

Like any Adobe program, it is robust with a familiar interface, which makes it very easy for new users. It has good features that allow very real prototyping that can be used to validate the flow and design without bigger costs.

Cons

It could have a greater possibility to troubleshoot collaborative work, cloud files, and real-time visualization. This is sorely missed in remote work.

### "Great for PDF Reading and Editing"

June 2, 2019

5.0

Adobe XD is a great tool for documents, especially those PDF format, whether they are meant simply to be read or worked on.

Pros

It is convenient and easy to use, whether just reading through a document or editing one. It is one software with the smoothest method for breaking up large documents into smaller ones as well as splitting by sections.

Cons

I would like if file conversions into different formats were more inclusive.

### "Top of the leaderboard"

November 26, 2019

5.0

Who knew Adobe could come out swining after Photoshop with something so amazing (and free btw)? It blew my mind how simple things were. How quickly invision and marvel were no longer needed. Sketching, designing and prototyping within just an app. And it's free!

Pros

\- Easy to get started: It's free to download and the minimal interface makes it a breeze to do anything. - All in one: You no longer need to do the prototyping in a different tool. Once you have the mobile app design, you are free to share it (with animations!) via the generated link. - Plugins galore: If XD can't do something on its own, you can bet someone created a plugin to solve that issue.

Cons

\- UI confusing: At times I felt I wasn't doing things right. But it was all about learning how XD wanted me to use a sidebar for example. - Some half-baked features: As much as I love the prototyping feature, it's just that - a feature. Marvel and similar products have built entire categories on it and it feels like they have a better product in that regard. - Too minimal: Something the interface feels too minimalistic and I'm searching for that one tool that's cleverly hidden behind some panel or toolbar.

### "Best for UI/UX"

October 25, 2019

5.0

For me, this has been the simplest program for mocking up and executing on UI designs. It's great that it already lives in the Adobe Suite and it makes it easy to move assets. It has simple, easy design that makes it easy to use. It's quick and reliable and I've never had a problem with it.

Pros

It's very quick to create nice looking interface designs and for my work I especially love the prototyping features, which are very robust. I can quickly put together a wireframe and that's been a huge asset. It's easy to use for anyone familiar with Adobe products and since it's compatible with Adobe Cloud pretty much everybody I need to work with already has it installed, whether they use it or not.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. They're making a lot of updates and QOL improvements. I never feel like they need them, but it's nice to see them developing the program. Sometimes the new tools need some fine tuning, but I've never run into a major issue.

### "Minimumlist design tool"

December 20, 2019

5.0

Despite Adobe advertise XD as a Sketch alternative, I find it not mature enough yet. It will go a long way if essential feature like text style editing and real time collaborate with other designer.

Pros

XD supports creating multiple platforms on one projects and the performance is very good with large number of screens. Live preview on real device (mobile). It also available for both Windows and Mac.

Cons

No option to edit text style, no option to quickly edit capital style, title casing or similar. I work with web style a lot and XD has no option to export design to CSS style code.

### "one of the best tools used for prototyping"

May 31, 2022

5.0

Pros

The UI is very simple and straight to the point, compared to other adobe products. creating animations is also very easy, since you don't have to do all the work. Adobe XD sometimes does the work for you as it knows what your next step will be. Because of this you are much earlier done than anticipated.

Cons

Because of the simple UI and limited options I felt like I had to think creatively to get the result that I want, but various plugins resolve this issue. So no cons.

### "Prototyping better and faster"

July 9, 2019

5.0

I would prefer better asset management to share multiple formats and sizes for different teams, while that functionality is there, I think there is other software that handles that part different.

Pros

How easy it is to Experiment with visuals, animations and transitions directly from your phone and Computer, cutting down crucial EX and design interations

Cons

There is a learning curve to get started, but once you familiarise yourself with the menus and tools, it becomes quite intuitive
