No more spam email in our organisation.

Pros

I am very satisfied with SpamTitan. It is very easy to setup. Email blocking efficiency is excellent. Our staff also like the daily quarantine report which they can easily delete or allow suspicious email.

Cons

I don't have any problem with this product.

Reason for choosing SpamTitan

I can install it in virtual machine. No need to buy expensive appliances.

We were a bit worried about it when we signed up - not too many reviews, but at least the ones there are positive. I can easily say that we made a great decision. Setup was done in less than a couple of hours - configuration was quick and easy as well. Their support helped me knock out a few configuration issues quickly. Day to day is easy in keeping things up to date.

Pros

Ability to install as VM Keeping is separate from the Exchange install

Cons

Not super popular so hard to gauge how well it works in the real world.

Our previous spam filter device was not blocking most of the ransomware emails and I am getting many complaints regarding this. But after Spamtitan implementation , I am really happy and 99 % unwanted emails are blocked by spamtitan.

Pros

most of the Ransomware emails , spam attachments and links are quarantined\\blocked in spamtitan .

Cons

I am not getting combined quarantine report (all mailbox ) to my ID. Only getting my quarantine report.

The best benefit is that I don't have to think about it. Like building a nice fence around your house.

Pros

Cleans up all of the clutter in our inbox. Most importantly, keeps ransomware and other identity theft schemes from penetrating our network.

Cons

Cost. There are some free options out there, and I hate paying for stuff. I view it like insurance though. One of these ransomware attacks could cripple the company.

Pros

The simple act of getting a daily/weekly summary of your SPAM email so you don't need to worry about legitimate emails being blocked is helpful. The fact Titan HQ has other tools that we may look to use for email archiving also convinced us to go with SpamTitan. UK / Ireland based phone support is also appreciated!

Cons

Occasionally legitimate email is flagged as SPAM, but not sure this is a problem unique to SpamTitan.

Cumbersome.

Pros

The fact that there is an Outlook plugin

Cons

The fact that the Outlook plugin appears not to be functional. I've encountered the plugin refusing my password so it wouldn't work. The plugin learning function doesn't appear to actually learn anything since day after day the email from the same sender keeps coming through. The auto-delete function in the plugin is not working.

I have used it as free trail because I was getting tones of spam emails and it worked well for me.

Pros

It provides 30 days free trail and that is enough to admire to this application which help you to save your time by not dealing with spam emails.

Cons

It may happen that the software can block normal mail which can create additional problem. To be honest, this is not something happen often, it's quite rare.

Good software at a decent price. I haven't dealt with the support team yet, but I hear they're great.

Pros

Great software that works exactly as intended. I'm told by coworkers that that support team is amazing, but have limited interactions myself.

Cons

The only negative is the price. It's one of those you get what you pay for scenarios. They're providing a great product so you should be expected to pay.

Pros

It is really effective at protecting your company´s mail, it blocks spam and protects really well all of your users against phishing and evil intented mails.

Cons

I havent found something I dont like about it, we have only been using it for a few months, but it has been really usefull to this point

Quick setup and strait forward to use. Can be used as a standalone product not requiring cloud services.

Cons

Menu organization could be better, notifications when the ques are stalled, block by county would be nice as well.

I am happy for what we are paying for. Would like to have more features but for the price it does a very good job.

Pros

Simple, easy on my end user. Little to none in terms of training. Gets most of the spam and with a simple adjustment you can catch more or less with it.

Cons

VERY simple. Not much in terms of customizability. Some very simple executive impersonation attacks have still come through.

It does what I need it to, but not what I wish it did. The price and terms allow me to land on this product without a commitment, which is good. It performs well enough.

Pros

The price is great. It's reasonably effective

Cons

So many things.. The web version of SpamTitan is missing features. The documentation is woefully inadequate, and generally refers to the appliance version. Simple features like externally filtered mail are not entirely implemented for the web version, can't be trialed, and have to be requested specifically. User's can't access changes to their spam filter with a simple click

Overall, I’m satisfied with this software. It provides so much power, flexibility and fault-tolerance, for so little money.

Pros

Easy to use, set up is fairly simple. They offer a free trial to try it out before purchasing. The dashboard allows you to see what emails have been filtered out.

Cons

Looking for a specific email could be easier. Tends to block some emails even from contacts at times

Excellent product for spam/virus filtering.

Pros

This solution virtually eliminated the virus' coming in through email. Spam filter was set a little too aggressive by default, but was easily adjusted to meet our needs

Cons

Getting to adjust the individual user settings is not easy to train the users. Also, cannot use the outbound filter without a static/sticky IP address.

Our spam reduced immediately upon introduction. Tech support has been fantastic!

Pros

Built on spamassassin. Rules familiar with what we are used to. Good detection rate. Baysean works well

Cons

Somewhat of a steep learning curve getting your initial rules set up. It can be difficult at first. You have to be careful in setting up to not get false positives. Bayes can take a while before it becomes effective.

I moved from Solar Winds whose product is cumbersome, complicated and slow and whose support people are not particularly helpful. Spam Titan is exactly the opposite and makes my job so much easier.

Pros

Spam Titan is easy to operate and very flexible. Setting filters is also quick and easy. The support for Spam Titan is very good. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes for a response to a support request. The staff a re friendly , helpful and very knowledgeable.

Cons

The only con I have come across is that it could be a little easier to search for items but this is a very minor issue.

Great integration into our IT environment, great sales support and follow up.

Pros

We had been using another cloud anti-spam service but were getting hit with spearphishing attacks that made it through. I tried the trial version of SpamTitan and was very impressed. We made the switch!

Cons

I haven't found a good way to tag spam that comes through as spam after the fact.

Features, like the daily reporting so that end users take care of there own whitelisting instead of us. Being to see all email that passes through the system. Helps in troubleshooting email not arriving etc.

Cons

Layout of portal is confusing. It takes a while to figure things out. Documentation is lacking. Needs to be updated more frequently.

I used to spend the first 5 minutes of my day deleting spam emails from my inbox. SpamFilter has essentially totally removed that task from my to-do list.

Pros

We started off with a free trial of SpamTitan and decided to sign up after just a week of use. It is remarkable how quickly the junk mail stopped after we installed it. We are able to leave SpamTitan on and redirect our focus to more pressing issues.

Cons

The initial installation could have been easier. If your office has a dedicated IT person with a good understanding of networking, I doubt it will be a problem.

we installed Spamtitan on a dedicated appliance in order to establish a anti spam gateway for both incoming and outgoing mail. It is simple to setup and reliable. It has an integrated antivirus engine. It is based on BSD OS and so it is very stable.

Pros

\- easy to setup anti spam rules - overall reliability and efficiency - integrated antivirus - cost effective platform

Cons

\- no integration with AD domains - no responsive web interface

Pros

SpamTitan has all the abilities and features I need and a highly competent staff available for support and help. It gave me the best and easiest option; Spam has disappeared without any tweaking.

Cons

The pricing is a bit stiff. Maybe I fall between pricing models. .

Before we used Spam Titan we got 10-20 Spam E-Mails per day. We also received them to our maillists which was an absolute desaster. Since we use SpamTitan we are COMPLETLY free of spam!

Cons

Nothing. In fact we are really happy. In really rare cases SpamTitan filters non-spam Mails, but this happened one time since we started to use it.

Pros

Off-premise. Easy to configure. Reasonably priced. Reasonable evaluation period. Sales staff was helpful. Tech support has been great.

Cons

Only real issue is that the Outlook plugin seems to lose it's settings. Not sure why/when, perhaps when Outlook365 updates? If they could address this, it would be the perfect product.

Pros

I love the added protection of not having to worry about spam emails and accidentally clicking something with malware. Easy to use and cost efficient

Cons

No big issues have come into play so far. I do wish there was some sort of mobile app i could use with this.
