Senior Systems Engineer Staffing and Recruiting Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Top tier spam/virus filtering an absolute must for any size of business" September 12, 2025 5.0 My overall experience has been excellent, they've been reliable, the spam filtering has been and continues to be excellent, the new tools they've rolled out for the admin center have been super helpful too. Their package is comprehensive and their pricing model is excellent too, very reasonable. Pros 5 years of service, no viruses, malware, even malicious macros are filtered. The spam filter is fast, efficient, and their technical support when need (albeit rarely) is always response and quick to resolve issues. Cons On the base plan users only get a spam quarantine notification once a day and at varying times. There is a work around, but it would be better if they could be informed when something is quarantined versus only receiving those once a day. This impacts our sales and HR teams especially. They have made upgrades when needed and kept their product sustainable. Pros SpamTitan has been a valuable and effective asset for spam filtering. It has a shallow learning curve, and has been a value for the money. And the cost is good considering the quality of service. Customer support is really helpful and super fast. Setup and onboard new customers is really easy and fast. Pros Cybersecurity for our clients involves a 12-point protocol, including e-mail protection. SpamTitan provides an affordable, small-footprint, flexible solution to address this area facing a growing threat. Customizable reports provide periodic review of spam and easy white and black-listing. Overall a stellar solution for this key area in cybersecurity. Cons Nothing negative thus far. Pnboarding took a little longer than expected but we were setting up for an MSP account, hence the turnaround was acceptable. November 5, 2024 5.0 I use it every day, life is impossible without such a service, the console has everything we need, we have gotten the spam down considerably, and support has always been quite efficient whenever I needed help. The spam reports that can be sent to user is very smart and saves us a lot of support time. Pros It works, which is the main reason to use them. I like the admin interface, it has all that we need and it is not a headache to browze and use. Cons Honestly, there is none, no spam filter is perfect, we need to work with it, and it is easy to work with SpamTitan console, and when we have an issue, the support is there. Pros I love that it is effective in catching spam, and that it is rarely wrong! Cons I dislike that individual users can't block an address and have it block that address for everyone easily. It has worked as advertised. Pros SpamTitan does it's job as advertised. I can block emails from specific email addresses or an entire domain. That's the sole feature we were looking for when shopping for a product like this. Cons So far, I don't have any cons to be honest. I have to really think deeply to find something I don't like about the platform. I guess the one thing I don't like is the new username format for entering into the admin side of things. Pros I didn't have a clue as to how to set it up but the SpamTitan team walked me through it with ease. Cons Nothing comes to mind. It's difficult to navigate to make changes and makes management more complex than it needs to be. But once learned it's quick.
