Logistics Manager Logistics and Supply Chain Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Efficiency and Speed" December 31, 2020 4.0 McLeod makes everything you need accessible at your fingertips and without this easy-to-use software, I can only imagine my job as a Logistics Manager being more difficult. As I said, over time if you realize you need one more button to make things easier, they can add it. With all the stress involved in my profession, McLeod LoadMaster eliminates some of that stress. Pros This is a program that I use on a daily basis and I've grown to love it. It makes everything that I need in my logistics field accessible, efficient, and fast. In the world of logistics and sales, speed is everything. With their programming and customizable button format, if you find something that could be made easier, they can add it and in a great easy to use format. You rarely have a time when McLeod is completely not operational and when it is, the McLeod team acts fast to get it fixed. Cons When you are running a lot of reports or one large report, sometimes it can make the program crash or lag. At times, it can even freeze. This usually doesn't last for long periods of time, but when it does. It can be at the worst possible moment. Review Source JZ Jose Z. " April 29, 2018 3.0 Pros This software is great for asset management and keeping an employee database. The accounting functions work well after you become comfortable with McLeod. And there are many, many reports you can run with the stored data. Cons I really don't have anything nice to say about this software as an operations/transportation tool. It creates empty moves and therefore disrupts the integrity of your data. It needs to be customized for your specific situation, and I don't believe that is currently an option. November 21, 2024 5.0 Our company has a great support and sales team assigned to our account they are incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. Pros It is one of the most all-encompassing TMS systems for transportation companies today. It allows you to keep accounting, safety, operations, customers, vendors, and assets records all in one place. There are multiple integration partners available for customers to work with and has a wide variety of API offerings as well. Cons It can be a very intimidating software option for those not familiar with it, and companies must have a trained key user for help desk support. I basically do everything I need in the same system. Pros LoadMaster is a huge system we use. With it, you can run all kinds of reports from booking the loads to the employees' database. Cons Takes so much effort to integrate and customize. It can be difficult for beginners. Also, the system looks old like Windows 98. I wish they could change the appearance a bit. I also like how you can customize the view of the software by building infinite board views. Cons This is not a userfriendly software, it took me over a month to understand. Though there are so many helpful features, the features are hard to find and there is tons of useful data that gets hidden. Cons Design, ease of use, features being available, ...the list could go on forever. Customer Service and training is a joke. Need help? Pros With McLeod you can have all your data in one place. You don't have to forward or share data between departments since its all there. December 6, 2017 1.0 Pros It has many features. Probably everything a transportation/brokerage would need, but it does it doesn't do it very well. Cons Very bad quality. The that that it is free for some mailings in also a bonus. Cons It is easy to access and the standard designs are limited in versitility. You can't make changes easily or delete parts you don't want iike the gray space for the header. I spent most of the day today working in Mail Chimp and the look of my mailing on the edit side was different from the preview side. It was inonvenient because I had to keep copying and pasting my work into Microsoft Word in order to make some of the revisions. Then I had to do additional revisions when copying the document back into the Mail Chimp email. Review Source JP Jennifer P. The software is scalable and able to fit any size business and their needs. You can custom tailor the software and pick and choose what it is you want. The Driver Branded App is also a great tool to safe on time and costs with your drivers. Cons It is very very expensive. This can actually be quite cost prohibitive to smaller companies, but if you can understand that in terms of overall long term investments, this is worth it in the end. Review Source VV Veronika V. I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING THIS PRODUCT. You can easily search for posted transactions. If the deposit total doesn't match, after all the invoice payments are applied, the deposit posting will not be completed. Sticky buttons, and does not need to take up my entire computer screen. Cons If I search for a transaction that is entered but not yet posted, it will not show up in my search. It doesn't allow an easy way to make a "cash receipt." A cash receipt has to be entered for each customer individually before you can finish and post the deposit.
